Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Jem positive thinking as a group can be easier. Think part of it it to try and stop me getting my hopes up for this cycle too much.

If nothing happens this cycle I'm looking forward to chatting with DH about semen analysis, he has been very good with DTD and is defintely excited to be trying but not sure how he will cope with jizz in a cup!

snowdog hope you get a nice birthday present (or will you wait until after if no AF so you can have a little wine)

starky all this talk of boring 2ww is definately making me drink more while I can, not sure thats what I'm supposed to do?!

This was my first cycle with EPO and I didn't notice a difference until I got my peak opk. I stopped taking it then buthe there was a huge amount more EWCM than previous cycles.

It was also my first cycle with OPKS so I don't know if we were lucky because we had a better idea of when to dtd or because of the EPO!

Fingers crossed it works for some of you loverly ladies!

Pleased to hear about the EPO doing good things! My first month taking it too, not noticed a huge difference yet but only CD 7?

Great - was determined to start DTD lots early this month and step up the game, after a few months where DTD enough hasn't happened. Woken this morning feeling yuck, sore throat, massive cold building..... Just in time for fertile week. I can never get DP anywhere near me when I'm full of lurgy! Arrrgh!!!!

This was my first cycle taking EPO too Bluebird. I started taking it CD 1 and I'm not taking it from today, CD 16. Definitely noticed a difference CM wise which was great! Grin

lovely is it your first cycle with epo? I've just started taking it too but was a few days late. Started cd 6 I think. Not sure when to stop as I'm really not interested in opks anymore. My cycles are pretty regular 28 days so think I'll stop day 14. Maybe I should opk... Decisions..decisions...

I stopped as soon as I ovulated lovely but I only did one opk that cycle so it could have been slightly before or after. If you've got a positive opk, I'd stop taking it.

Oh no Kwick! Can they contact the doner and ask for more? I can't decide if that's a normal request in this type of situation or not!

Question about EPO - do people stop taking it when they think they've ovulated (as it's not a super exact science) or when FW is over?

Hello just checking in, great to see all the bfps, so exciting!!

I caved in, and tested this evening with a clearblue plus I had in the cupboard, bfn. AF is not here yet but I have cramps so I expect she will arrive tomorrow. The only things giving me hope is that my temp has gone a little higher and my cervical appears to have gone so far up, it has basically disappeared Confused however I have no idea what is normal for me in that regard so hard to judge.

Keeping my fx AF doesn't show, but I think I may be on the Wine by the weekend! I will definitely not be testing until AF is actually late next time. Now I am just in the limbo land a pp mentioned above.

So I have 1 vial left of magic potion, clinic have confirmed I need to have 2 vials for IVF - and both need to be from same donor.

Fx kwick - if you can use different ones then why do you need to use previous? Do you pick a profile or anything like that?

So heard back from clinic - you can use different donor vials so I will at least need to order one vial with previous donor... Lets hope there is some left!

Definetly leave it as long as you can ni it really is boring! First week or so i was sort of 'teehee, I've got a lovely secret' but it's mainly just the anxiety and tedious for me. You can't really buy anything or do anything to celebrate. Because we didn't do an early scan because we're both superstitious and agreed not to tell anyone until after 12 weeks it's just an albatross on my back, sat there, poking me with its beak and saying shush!

Of course this is mainly down to me and dh being completely odd, so any mention of any future things are shushed and not discussed as if in some way it's going to change anything! I suppose I'm just aware that nothing is a guarantee. Also I am, both figuratively and literally, full of shit, so my brain can't compute much currently!

But I am attempting a new blog post!

Your words of wisdom are doing wonders Stark! Not only do I not want to test pre AF due date, but I want to leave it as long as possible now so that the first trimester wait is not so long!!

kwick blood test Friday which should hopefully generate a scan date for the next couple of weeks time. Fingers crossed anyway, I'm not looking forward to blood test!

jem that's the worst bit, no drinking but the first few weeks I felt fine, just like I had a hangover, exhausted and slightly off colour! I've been VERY lucky so far though, with regards to symptoms. Get the opk's out, two a day job!

snow that's exciting about your clomid!

kath thanks mate, if you could make it as bright and colourful as possible with umbrellas, straws and a paper parrot that would be awesome!

Enjoy the tww as much as you can guys because it really is boring in the first trimester! 🎀🎂🎊🍸🍹🍷🍻

ema I do that a bit too - already writing off the cycle I'm in. Need to practise some positive thinking.

starky it must be strange adapting to all the new limitations. I'm a bit over wine at the minute though, would quite like the excuse to not drink for a few months. Enjoy the absence of hangovers!

What a lovely sunny morning! Just wish I was off work to enjoy it!! High temps this morning but tender boobs are going so I presume AF will arrive later this week. Gonna get lots of walking in today and tomorrow. Still can't psych myself up for intense exercise!
