That is an utterly brilliant second line and just goes to show how sensible it is to wait a little bit longer before testing. That must be so much better than squinting and inverting colours to work out if there's anything there

And congratulations too to all those other BFPs there have been lately. I've not been online much as I'm in the very dull 3 weeks before OV but there seems to have been a lot of action which is lovely and encouraging.

But...temp went above 37 for the first time ever this morning so... I tested before I lost my nerve. I finally get to say I GOT A BFP!!!!!!!!!!

I showed ic to OH and he thought it was an opk (how confused are men?!)...so we took the precious First response with the pregnant word on it! Then he believed it!

I now have the fear that it's gonna unstick! Especially as I took agnus castus this month...and I think I'm supposed to stop it now I'm preggers...but what if that causes progesterone levels to drop?! Will have to just see how the week goes! And then the week after that...and so on.....! Due January 13th 2017 😀

Well FF told me to test on Wednesday so I've definitely earned my Starky Star!!

I'm going to be the terrible influence who wants everyone to test even if it's too early. So with that in mind ni test test test! Ooo kwick we only just finished clearing ours a couple of months ago as it was full of waist high brambles and weeds. We didn't look before we said yes, we chose the smallest possible plot.

Sucha, don't feel bad! I didn't drink for the first 3 months of trying and then drank quite a lot socially in my 4th month when it worked- I don't think it makes much difference!

I don't think it makes any difference jem unless you drink enough on a regular basis that you're reliant on it. (It had better not in off on a girls day out today and nearing OV myself!) ha ha

I don't think it would make any difference Jem - how many people have you heard about who have had a few drinks and found out later they were pregnant? In my experience, quite a lot! Just chill and enjoy yourself. :-)

ni I think I'd be tempted to test if you're late and your oh is going away, but if bfn would really crush you perhaps wait. Fingers tightly crossed for you.

Positive opk yesterday and we DTD Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday this week. We've been at a wedding today so didn't manage to do it today but will tomorrow morning.

Can't help but feel it won't work because I've been drinking quite a lot today. Would / could booze prevent fertilisation? Feel so disappointed in myself for not restraining

I want to go on a work trip to Venice! People have such exciting jobs

I've had one day of watery cm on cd14, now back to creamy... I'd that it? Is that all I'm getting this month? One patch of ewcm in nearly 6 months. Gr.

Kath I wonder about the impact of a relaxed month on the system for the following month! I know the dtd timing can be difficult, but I'm hoping the relaxing did both your bodies good!!

Cd31 creamy CM, boobs still a little tender, temp is still high, occasional weird pain inside right hip/down thigh. Can't bear to think it might be possible. If I'm to test this weekend it'll have to be tomorrow as OH is up and out early on Sunday for a race (and I'll be part of the boozy afterparty so need to know if I should be drinking). Would prefer not to test at all...hate the disappointment of BFNs. Alternative is just drink Sunday and see if AF rocks up next week.

Thanks all, appreciate the sympathy. Bluebird, yeah it's really frustrating isn't it? Part of the problem is that it's not so easy for us to DTD during the week because of work when we're not on holiday so we're reliant on the weekends falling at the right time normally. Maybe I'll just have to plan some more holidays!

kathrino I felt the same way after our 3 week holiday last August. Really thought that would do the trick. Have had several school breaks since then and no dice. Sometimes it's even more pressure thinking it's more likely to happen when relaxing.

kathrino sorry love, try not to worry too much about the holiday thing, I know how things like that can get your hopes up. It could very easily happen next month. Keeping fx for your next cycle.

Good news on the vials kwick, although a total bugger re mortgage. I didn't realise that using a comparison website would lead to multiple credit checks. That seems ridiculous.

AF arrived this afternoon with worse than usual cramps just to make me feel extra happy about it. Can't help thinking that it doesn't bode well for us if we can't get pregnant during the month we're on holiday, stress free and can DTD whenever we want but we will give it another month or two and then think about next steps. New test date will be 6 June.
