Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

moose both viewpoints are understandable (I'm more in your camp though, my OH just isn't fussed if we do or don't, or adopt, or just get a donkey)

I am 100% convinced I am pregnant, and 100% convinced I can't possibly be. I'm going to test tomorrow though, with FMU if OH has managed to get to a shop. Or I am going to wait until the weekend. Or wait until I get home. NOT COOL BRAIN, CHILL. OUT.

Mooseville · 10/05/2016 16:41

I think the problem is he's very practical and stressing about money/buying a house. His attitude is well if it takes a year, that's better for us as we'll be in a new property and better prepared, whereas I'm more worried about getting closer to 38 and 40 is approaching fast and I want it as quick as possible, and the money and house will all work out in the end. It's not like we've both not got good jobs, people survive on a lot less with kids!
Aaah anyway, at least the two week wait will be a breeze this month! lol

Don't know how you girls are managing to hold on and not test!!! Triple Starky's stars for you!!!

FXSkip · 10/05/2016 11:26

Morning all, moose I am so sorry that you are finding this frustrating with your OH. I know this isn't going to be what you want to hear but if he is reluctant to dtd when you are ovulating but isn't being clear about why, maybe he is just scared, and hasn't admitted it to either you or himself yet?

Theorchard we are (not)testing buddies!! I am also too scared to test, I'm pretty sure its going to be a bfn though so maybe I will just to put my mind at ease. Can't be arsed forking out for FRER when its so unlikely - I put a lot of effort into avoiding ISW this month so will be sods law that I'll be upduffed right before my once-in-a-lifetime-trip. Confused

StarkyTheDirewolf · 10/05/2016 10:34

twink I waited till I was 6 weeks to ring, but round by me it's just a cursory 10 minute appt with the midwife at the gp in order for her to say hello and refer you on. Then booking in appt attend hospital (bloods, weight, starting your notes etc) anywhere from 10-12 weeks, (I was 11 weeks) and at the booking in they give you a scan date ( where I'll be 13 weeks). But in some areas you just self refer to the hospital, some places you have to see the GP. I'd give it a week or so and phone, but it's up to you and there's no real rush.

moose he sounds like he's being really unfair, not cool bro!

feef I live in sports bras but I've gone from a respectable D to probably an F. I'm waiting till after the scan to get some new clothes but I'm struggling to wear my stuff now.

SuchaJem · 10/05/2016 09:13

Oh moose Sad that's really not fair of him. Have you let him know how much this upsets you? You might need to go a bit more firm - not so wish washy see what happens blah and say look I'm ovulating we've got about 48 hours or no baby, capiche?

It would be nice if his vision was true but cold hard science says it's not. He needs to get on board if he really wants to start a family.

Mooseville · 10/05/2016 09:04

Still no action last night - last chance saloon for this cycle tonight unless they're hardy little swimmers and managed to stay alive 6 days!
Tried to get him interested, then caved and told him it was close to ovulation. His reply, " I thought you were being relaxed and not bothered this month." Errrr there's relaxed and just not bloody attempting at all like you apparently are! Honestly men!! I actually do give up! He has literally no understanding of ISW though - even though I've explained it about a zillion times! He just doesn't understand that you don't just pregnant at any time of the month, so has just no urgency about doing it at the right time.

Bloody hell, I hope my boobs don't grow two sizes feefs I can barely cope with what I've been endowed with already!

SuchaJem · 10/05/2016 08:15

Never trust those boobs! Hahaha may glad to hear all going well

Morning all, Day 19 here or 4DPO. I've finally got it through to my brain that this is too early for symptom spotting so feeling quite zen Halo

But also a bit "am I pregnant yet???" Angry Bird

Ooh new emoticon! Angry BirdAngry BirdAngry Bird

Theorchard · 10/05/2016 08:10

twink I'm scared to test in case it's a bfn! I'm putting it off as long as possible in the hope that either I'll get a really strong positive or AF will arrive in the meantime, then at least I will know.
But I am keeping in mind 'never trust the boobs'!

Feefeefs · 10/05/2016 07:53

I've got all over boob pain, come near me and I'll scream type pain! Also they are two cup sizes bigger and I had to buy non underwired bras two weeks ago Shock I am normally very small of chest

twinkydink · 10/05/2016 06:22

Aahh the side boob pain is not fun!! Really wish I could get away with not wearing a bra!

I was planning on calling the doctors tomorrow because it takes forver to get an appointment round here but I'll only be 4+5 is that too early?

orchard how have you not tester again???

Flashinthepan · 09/05/2016 23:02

Thanks ladies. I'm quite enjoying the symptom spotting trying to guess who'll be getting a bfp, hopefully all of you! Yes 5tar it is rubbish isn't it. I know it's different for everyone but if you need to chat I'm here.

mayago · 09/05/2016 21:47

"Never trust the boobs" Halo The ONE part of me I was looking forward to seeing a change in, and it's all the bloating and cramps and crankiness and feeling ill that have stolen the show Wink

Glad things are getting back on track for you Flash!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 09/05/2016 21:38

I've had side boob pain from 7 dpo till today, when I've only slightly got it in one side boob the Grin

OP posts:
Theorchard · 09/05/2016 21:23

Starky It probably means I'm not pregnant! Seems to me the less symptoms you have the more likely you are to be upduffed!!!
Interesting what posters are saying about side boob pain though as that has been where I have had pain. It it a very odd pain too, like a shooting crackling type pain through the sides. Rather as I imagine having a very small taser applied to the side of a boob might feel. I should point out I have never been tasered, and have no idea what that actually does feel like. Have only seen it in the movies.
Anyway catch up properly tomorrow with you all. Smile

iPatches · 09/05/2016 20:38

Ni, Starky - now I'm worried that i didnt even know i had a sideboob. And my sideboob feels fine! My boobs are getting a bit sore though and my bra is feeling tighter so maybe things are changing. Hmm

Jem rain swimming is lovely!

Ni4444 · 09/05/2016 20:31

Yeah, my front boobs are fine, but my side boobs ....haha too many boobs!! 😂 Exactly what Stark said, the side of my boob that's near my arm...that feels sore, more so than the front of my boob

SuchaJem · 09/05/2016 20:30

Hi celi hope the interviews went well. One DTD can be all it takes fx for you.

theo eek excited for weds for you! Hope to add you to the grads list Smile

I'm feeling proud for dragging my reluctant ass to the pool this evening and having a swim outside in the rain! Very refreshing and relaxing watching birds fly overhead Halo

StarkyTheDirewolf · 09/05/2016 20:06

the you have more symptoms than i do Grin

ipatches sore side boob, like tender underneath the armpit I find, right at the edge of boob!

OP posts:
iPatches · 09/05/2016 20:02

Theo you have way more symptoms than I do even now
Ni how do you have sore "side boobs"???? I am thirsty today but it has been warm, didnt put it down to being upduffed

Ni4444 · 09/05/2016 19:55

I agree with ipatches Theorch! My hcg was a light line but the first response was very strong line...what did you test with? I had sore side boobs, thirsty and cm too!

iPatches · 09/05/2016 19:11

Theo - why are you waiting? Go get a test!

Ni - we arent telling anyone for a while. As long as we can hold out without anyone noticing!

Theorchard · 09/05/2016 18:46

Hi sorry I've been quiet, I'm still stuck in limbo land, no AF, and bfn on Sat, waiting to test again on Wednesday. Confused it is unusual for me to be late.
Very few symptoms other than sore boobs, and my left boob has grown at least a cup size bigger then my right; I also have to wear panty liners for all the cm, never done that before! But I actually feel far better than I normally do with usual pms.
I haven't had chance to read everyone's updates but I'll come back tomorrow and catch up properly. I did spot Ni got a bfp though, huge congrats, and kwick got her vials yay! Smile see you tomorrow for proper mnet time Grin

5tardusty · 09/05/2016 17:01

Hi flash i got my bfn last week which was bittersweet but nice to get back to base camp! This cycle is doing my head in so i hope you'll be more patient than me haha! Sorry you're experiencing this- it's rubbish, and good luck for a nice quick ovulation!

celizabe · 09/05/2016 14:21

Hi Ladies, sorry been away for a few days, had to fly home for some interviews etc. so only managed to DTD once last week. It was the day my OPK came slowly down so hopefully I caught the OV.

So I'm just sitting in my TWW but loving catching up on all the BFPs ... congratulations to everyone who's moving upwards, onwards and outwards Smile to the Grad list!

Mooseville · 09/05/2016 09:40

That's good news flash Fingers crossed everything returns to how it should be as quick as possible and that that's the only BFN you get from now on.....
