Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We've got a few grads sticking around I won't leave and no question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

Lol what's this priest onome about. Does he have a magic wand? Or maybe a pot of baby dust

KatOnATinRo0f · 12/05/2016 12:07

Hi everyone.
Sorry peaches Flowers welcome back
Fx - what's going on? Still no BFP? Still no period?
I am cycle 9? 10? Not sure. DH and I have completely missed ISW this month as have been busy with work. Sort of given up on the idea of having a baby now. Feel like it might not happen for us. Thinking of getting a dog.

Fitness- was okay but was my bday on tues so went for big lunch and ate cake. Work bought me lovely goodies inc macaroons. But at least will have another month to try to lose muffin top.

FXSkip · 12/05/2016 11:48

Hey Peaches welcome back, but I am so sorry for the circumstances. Bodies are indeed magical, mysterious and nature can be so cruel. I have been really inspired by the ladies who get their BFPs but then sadly don't get to keep them, the positivity and courage is incredible, when you finally get what you wish for then it will be all the sweeter.

Hep ummm....I want to say yes to the chocolate but I really don't think it does.
Fishy great idea - get out there :)

Peaches8Posies · 12/05/2016 11:07

Morning ladies congrats on the recent bfp's 😊

feefs looking forward to your happy scan news on Saturday 😊

fx my first ic was a negative, got a positive on a frer 😊
Dipping my toe rather tentatively back in. I lost the baby at 12 wks. Thinking about trying again but waiting for my first proper period before making any final decision. Just need to wait and see when that will be. Our bodies are wonderfully mysterious things, right now I wish that wasn't the case. Think I really do need a pair of those xray specs I mentioned before, or maybe I just need a chat with this priest onome guy instead Hmm

Anyway, hope everyone is well and enjoying the sunshine Smile

LovelyFishy · 12/05/2016 10:51

Fx your comment about waiting for a baby to come out made me giggle! Haven't run in a week now, should try and fit one in this eve. I am eating healthily though!

I never monitored my moods before ttc, maybe I always get grumpy and moody before AF. I'm going to try and cheer up! Hopefully the luck is with us both soon Jem. Grin

HepKestrel · 12/05/2016 10:44

fx errr....does a whole lot of birthday chocolate count? Blush

FXSkip · 12/05/2016 10:21

Spam? What spam?

I've just contacted Priest Onome myself, I am confident that a witch doctor is exactly what I need just now....I am now 6 days late, and finally the symptom spotting has subsided as the cramps in my belly continue on regardless. No big/dark/bumpy nips, no nausea (apart from being sick the other morning). Im thirsty all the time because its getting warmer, and I'm peeing all the time because I'm drinking more, right? RIGHT? I tested with an IC, and I refuse to test again. I'm going to hold off now until.....a baby comes out?!

Jem good to hear you've come out of your funk and are feeling better. Those feelings are so destructive, but sometimes you gotta just wallow in them for an evening.

How is everyone's fitness/healthy plans coming along?

SuchaJem · 12/05/2016 08:44

Oh lovely that is a long wait. I'm cycle 5 and feeling impatient. Really hope this month is your month.

LovelyFishy · 12/05/2016 08:40

Jem I'm currently cycle 9...

SuchaJem · 12/05/2016 08:37

Fx it's a little blastocyst getting comfy. Step away from Google!

AliceScarlett · 12/05/2016 08:26

I've reported the spam.

Glad other people keep note of dtd too, quite nice jam for conception to have fallen on mothers day, what a lovely story in the future Smile I'm getting soppyBlush

Jem in theory it could be IB...not lots of blood. But idk. No spotting at all today, just mild cramps, so not AF. Probably some sort of advanced cervical cancer according to Google Angry

Sorry to hear you're feeling all over the shop. This will pass. I think it's easier to not get hopes up.

SuchaJem · 12/05/2016 08:16

Morning girls, feeling a bit brighter after a decent nights sleep.

Day 21 today, 6/7 DPO. No desire to POAS, feel like AF will do the job for me next Friday! But perhaps it's better to have low expectations.

bluebird star jump warm up made me chuckle Smile

lovely what cycle are you on now?

alice lots of blood? Or could it be IB? I do think about which shag it might be. This month we had a quickie at his parents house just after arriving Blush was within 24 hours of positive OPK and I was determined!

jamjar really reassuring to be reminded lots of bfps came without symptoms. For me it's feeling the same old AF signs that make me despondent - mood swings being the most obvious so far. I'm all over the place Confused

Hello jenifer Hmm

Google should definitely be banned Alice, I agree lol. Not only when Googling possible pregnancy symptoms too but also for actually pregnancy issues as there's just every bad scenario out there! I always feel like there should be a disclaimer banner or something saying 'You're probably fine! These are just possibilities!'

I'm pretty sure our most likely date that worked out for conceiving was Mother's Day, which I told my mum the other day as I thought it was quite sweet. She was like 'charming, that's why you left early that day then?!' Oops, haha.

Just remember with symptom spotting- most of us were totally surprised with our BFPs as we didn't have that many symptoms at all!

HepKestrel · 12/05/2016 06:35

Cd26, no sign of sore boobage... 9or 10 dpo.

OH has manflu and expects sympathy....Biscuit

AliceScarlett · 12/05/2016 05:59

Right there with you Jem. We have another week to go through right, it's not over til its over.

Good luck people in the FW. Does anyone else try to remember DTD close to ovulation so they would have a rough idea of when their baby was made? Or is that just me being terribly sentimental Hmm

In other news I'm bleeding on CD20! Yay! /sarcasm. Going to make an appt to see GP, I'm approaching 6 months and I'm bleeding between cycles now, I hope that's a good enough reason. Why is it that when you Google symptoms they are always liked to cancer? Google should be banned.

LovelyFishy · 11/05/2016 22:57

Ack, just had another baby bomb. What's worse this time is it's a couple our age, same situation as us, and I know they've been trying as long or a little less than us.

Currently cd 23 and don't feel pregnant in the slightest, not even the hint of sore boobs and have slightly more energy than usual. I'm totally with Jem on her comment - why can't I get pregnant? Sad

bluebird3 · 11/05/2016 22:17

Sorry you're feeling down jem. I completely understand. But you aren't out until your out so there's still hope.

It's fw for me... Dh was working upstairs and just informed me he's ready to dtd. I was half asleep on the sofa and decided it wasn't happening. But I've been in our room doing star jumps to wake myself up and I've just given him my 'come hither' call. Sometimes I just think wtf with this Ttc business...

5tardusty · 11/05/2016 21:07

Oh jem, sorry you feel like that. It's horrible when things are out of our control like this. I wish we could just take a baby pill and get on with it.

First creamy cm since mc today and negative opks so giving ourselves a break from dtd. Been doing every other day for about a fortnight now! Going to wait for cm to start being clear again i reckon- it's lotiony now as opposed to tacky so fingers crossed i'm still pre- ov

Good luck to everyone!

SuchaJem · 11/05/2016 20:53

Sorry about bfn skip, hope it was just too early.

I'm so Envyand Angry this evening. Being a total cow to my DH. Worst of all this is classic PMS for me. Why can't I get pregnant?? Sad

Feefeefs · 11/05/2016 20:37

Yeah ni it's a repeat of the private one not an NHS one. Don't have to pay again either.

Ni4444 · 11/05/2016 20:00

Happy Birthday Hep 🎂 Hope you have a lovely evening.

Kav my OH decided that he couldn't do every day dtd so we had to just aim for every other day or less during FW. It sounds like you got plenty swimmers in place. Good work!

Feefs you have your scan Saturday??

Fx sorry about the bfn. What test did you use? I'm hoping it just wasn't a sensitive enough one?!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 11/05/2016 19:40

Happy birthday hep hope you had a lovely day and have an even lovelier evening! 🎉🔔👑🐛🎂🍸🍹🎁🎀🎊🐙

Happy birthday hep.

Fingers crossed bluebird!

Thanks to you all for your patience yesterday! Feeling a bit more positive after seeing the midwife this morning! It was a nice experience and much more relaxed than I was experiencing. Roll on Saturday scan and hopefully I can start getting excited!

FXSkip · 11/05/2016 14:49

Aaah kav I feel for you! Men are so troublesome!!

So I caved and tested last night, BFN of course! I'm wondering if I am just late due to stress, although I feel fine, because I leave for my big holiday next week and we have just moved house and finished doing the kitchen? I'm sure thats it, I just want AF to hurry up now and not interrupt my holiday! Hep holiday planning has been a huge distraction, but clearly not enough as I am still super chilled totally freaked out right now and feeling ALL the emotions. FFS I hate this.
