Thanks sunny it's horrible. Nearly into the 1 year bracket. Think it made me more upset as the dr wouldn't help, but I'm feeling more positive now xx

:-) I don't really remember symptom spotting with my first...I was sure I was pregnant when my ad was late and a bit tired so milked that for a bit to try to pursuade my husband I should do a pregnancy so now I'm not sure if I was actually that tired!!! I'm now tired because I have a bad back a small son and a part time job!

jpeg28 · 16/05/2016 17:17

I really want to no symptom spot but I just can't help it!!!
It's cd24 for me today and finally ovulating!!! Had EWCM as well which is a first for me! So my TWW begins tomorrow I guess?? Two weeks feels such a long time!!!

SoozC · 16/05/2016 15:59

I am going for a clinical symptom-spot all cycle, because I'm curious about all the little twinges my body has! But despite somtimes getting excited about all the symptoms I'm having, I keep reminding myself that af will turn up at the weekend as normal and mentally preparing myself for another month. I was gutted last month and it affects my DP so I am determined not to feel that way again. But I enjoy symptom spotting!

SunnyDays1987 · 16/05/2016 15:50

I agree with wispa largely but with my last pregnancy I got two completely random dizzy spells at 7 and 8dpo and that's not something I've ever had before or since so I'm sure that was around implantation. I was on holiday at the time and totally relaxed enjoying the fresh air so it wasn't environment related either. But stuff like cramps, boobs, twinges etc etc aren't reliable symptoms! But it depends how you prefer to pass the TWW. Some people like to symptom spot and as long as you're prepared to accept it might be all in your head then that's totally up to you Smile

wispaxmas · 16/05/2016 15:34

frob, no symptom spotting for me, I'm a firm believer that there is no symptom you could have in the TWW that wouldn't possibly just be preceding AF. Especially as when TTC we are hyper aware of every tiny twinge and feeling that we would have otherwise ignored or not even noticed, and also conception vitamins and supplements if you are taking them can give you some strange symptoms sometimes.

Symptom spotting is terribly because it just makes getting AF a million times worse! I would much rather ignore everything and wait until a positive test to start analysing how I feel.

beckiwiththegoodhair · 16/05/2016 14:57

Hi frobskottle. I have had cramps the past few days and i had a positive opk test on 10/05. Ive not had anything like that before, so its new for me! Lol

frobskottle · 16/05/2016 14:36

Anyway I was meaning to ask when you guys start symptom spotting. Feeling crampy today but I also have a bad back so not sure if it's related to that!!

frobskottle · 16/05/2016 13:26

Reacon I'm 6/7 dpo. So it's coming up 21 days for me in my cycle. Last month I think I didn't ovulate and had a 21 day cycle so no idea what to expect this month!

beckiwiththegoodhair · 16/05/2016 13:03

Correction TWW!

beckiwiththegoodhair · 16/05/2016 13:03

Thanks Greenikins, good luck to you and karry as well. TTW certainly feels like an eternity. I will be paying close attention to my body the next few weeks. Bbs got bigger before i had pos opk and still feel bigger now, so maybe that's a good sign? And i have felt a bit off today at work when hungry. Going to try and chill about it all, i have a tendancy to get obsessive about things and i am pretty impatient, which doesn't help. I do worry about m/c too if i do get a BFP, as i will be an older mum (39). I suppose, what will be will be!

Greenikins · 16/05/2016 12:49

Hope the wait goes ok karry and becki. Thanks sunny I think my symptoms are looking good, but it's so very early to know, so I just hope it sticks. Love this forum, it's a lifeline for those lonely days of obsessing!

karryk · 16/05/2016 12:25

Congrats to all the bfps!

Just started the tww :)

beckiwiththegoodhair · 16/05/2016 12:23

Hi there Ladies. Congrats to all those with BFP! Smile this is my first cycle after having a coil removed on 15th April. I had what i think was a 1 day AF on 1st May and decided to start opk tests at the end of that week as i had no idea what my cycle length would be after 10yrs with no AF! Anyway, got a positve opk on 10th May and DTD a few times around then. Going to wait until 28th May or slightly sooner, to see if i caught at all. Fingers crossed! I already have 2 older kids, so there will be a big age gap between them.

SunnyDays1987 · 16/05/2016 11:51

Hope you feel better soon Kellz. TTC is rubbish.Flowers

Ooh exciting Green My first symptom at 7dpo was strange dizziness!! Yeah the TWW is bloody hard. I don't think men get it because it's not their bodies so they're not obsessing over every little twinge!

Greenikins · 16/05/2016 11:46

5 days before AF is due and I've had some pink spotting today and mild cramps and dizzyness. It's so distracting cos I keep thinking implantation?? Keep running to the loo and focussing on the cramps, hoping they don't get stronger and doesn't turn into an early AF. It's a lonely time the 2ww isn't it?! My bf just doesn't get it!

Kellz92 · 16/05/2016 11:14

Congrats to the BFPs, not been on as much this cycle as im feeling sorry for myself, but i am so happy for all the BFPs xx

No, thought I'd wait until tomo, give it a chance to darken up - hopefully! Thanks amy

AmyC86 · 16/05/2016 09:17

They're definitely positive, congrats!

SunnyDays1987 · 16/05/2016 08:42

Who knows!! Did you do another test this morning?!

Mrsp2011 · 16/05/2016 08:39

It was 9 days so really short. As this is the first cycle I took it, don't really know if it prolonged, but maybe done the trick!!

SunnyDays1987 · 16/05/2016 06:39

How long was your LP originally then? I think I OV around cd22 usually and have a 10 day LP. When I've taken conception vitamins it's just made me spot for a few days before AF comes but I think that's probably the b6. I have a DS though so it must be a problem for me. If I don't get pregnant in a few months I might have to consider whether I need to take the vitamins again or not!

Mrsp2011 · 15/05/2016 20:48

Tbh, it's kinda my first cycle. Had come off the pill (after 12 years!) in Nov and using the fertile app to know what days to avoid and to learn about my cycle. Learned that I ov late - day 23, with a short luteul phase so started vit B complex last month. I'm an all in kinda girl so went all in the first cycle with opks! Seems to have done the trick! But not getting too excited yet.

FozBoz · 15/05/2016 20:30

Hi to you all and congrats to the BFPs!

I've nearly missed the bus! I wasn't sure if I was even in a postion to catch this month. Had MMC in March but bled for ages. I had a positive OPK on 5th May so I guess I could be testing any day now.

I have one FRER left from last pg but was saving it for best Grin plus a load of internet cheapies. Have some symptoms but can't trust what's normal now.

I should hold my nerve till mid week at least!
