Hi everdene that all sounds promising! I fancy your chances this month! We DTD'd twice on OV day, once the day after but only once three days before, so don't think our chances are spectacular. OVing earlier than usual was very welcome but also took us a bit by surprise but either way I'm hopeful for next cycle. Fx for you!

Hi to all the newbies!! Well done sunny keeper of the stats - been keeping an eye on my temps and pretty sure I'm 4dpo now so etd will be 4 April! So excited that this will prob be a 35 day cycle!! The last two were 41 then 56 days so putting it all down to starting Angus castus this cycle. That means I'm testing at the same time as ivory but I know I'll cave and test sooner

Had a second yesterday where I felt a bit weird in my tummy and briefly wondered if that was something happening but we shall see (may have been nothing)

I know what you mean everdene it can be hard to find time! Luckily we've been on holiday this week which helped! I also find the more you DTD the more you want too!!

TMI: This week (ISW) we have DTD three times, which is loads for DH and I, I actually can't remember the last time we did that, might have been the early days!

We have been really lazy about shagging in the last couple of years, our jobs can be very stressful and TTC has brought us a renewed vigour for one another in the last few weeks! We have always been very compatible in terms of sex drive but it is much nicer to just head off to bed at 10pm rather than watching the TV like a pair of oldies.

We've planned to start trying in April after getting a busy time at work out of the way. We got married last year and both my (younger) sisters recently had babies so j feel like there's lots of pressure. I'm a bit rubbish on cycles etc and AF always takes me by surprise so I've been using the clue app to to to get to know my cycle. I'm not really expecting to be successful first month but thought it would be nice to have some company and to pick up any tips! good luck to everyone x

Hey guys, not sure we're actively trying this month now. I'm cd 16 and the past few months have ovulated around cd21 but my dp has had a letter through that he needs an endoscopy (both ends) and the prep for that starts next weekend. He's understandably nervous so it's kinda put a dampener on dtd. So if we manage to dtd this week then great but if he's not up to it I understand. Starting my promotion the beginning of May so hoping moving onto day shifts will give us more opportunity next month. Good luck to everyone this month x

I'm currently cooing over baby chickens in our garden and all our newborn calves (which are obviously way cuter than the spotty oiky teenage ones we have at our farm that keep trying to escape!!) OH says our chickens have made me broody haha!! OHs sister just announced that they are having a baby and so has my best friend so I'm so desperate to be able to join them!!!

Minty I am just using internet cheapies.

I have two apps, Fertility Friend and Clue, and they are showing different fertile windows which is confusing. No EWCM today but I am wondering whether DTD has affected that?

My DH asked today whether 'I thought last night had worked' - obviously I haven't a clue! Would so love it if it had. He would be such a lovely daddy. I cuddled my newborn DN today and she is so adorable it made me excited for it to happen for us!

I am very good today thank you minty!! AF has buggered off so I'm a lot happier than I have been :) still only CD6 though so not a great deal of excitement going on haha!!

I'm going to give OPKs a go possibly, but I can only really do them about 4pm so I'm likely to just DTD every other day once the lines appear to be darkening- likewise concerned about missing it whilst hoping for things to get darker!! Lots of stabs in the dark happening on cycle 1!! (Pun not intended) Did one today to get an idea of my boring base level and it was damn near invisible so at least I know if I see a line of any description that I need to jump on OH haha!! I'm too forgetful for BBT (the only things I can reliably remember to do are take folic acid and my d-mannose!!) so that just leaves CM!! Who knows what this month will bring?!?!

I'm ok thanks. Still only CD4 so nothing to report at all. I get about a week of EWCM. I think I get it before and after OV. Not sure why it seems to always be the case!

That's my concern with OPKs minty, you can miss OV apparently because the surge can be really short. But plenty of people use them so they must work for a lot of people!

That's what i try and do Ever, if I have ewcm, then try and dtd! I'm a bit by the OPK's to be honest, I used them through March and although the second line did get dark around the time I was expecting to ov, it was never as dark as the control line but I clearly did ov as I got a bfp! Do you use IC's or have you a digital one Ever?

I had some EWCM yesterday and DTD last night although I haven't had a positive OPK yet.

Used the Preseed lube again which I actually really like. I'm going to try to DTD tonight again if we can muster the energy later!
