What cycle are you on Mrsp? Do we not still go the conception stats like we used to on the buses?! Like what days you DTD on, what symptoms etc?! I used to love reading those!

I can definitely see a line!

Mrsp2011 · 15/05/2016 18:04

I think I am sunny used opk's for the first time this month which also tied in with other symptoms of ov. Looks like I'll be making a stop at the shops tomo!!

SunnyDays1987 · 15/05/2016 17:44

I can see a very faint BFP on all of them! Are you sure you're 15dpo? Maybe time to buy a FRER?!

Mrsp2011 · 15/05/2016 17:40

So had the patience of a saint and held out to today to test, Dpo15, cd37, longest cycle since coming off pill in Nov. Now don't know!! Think negative ic? But maybe positive other - getting desperate I used a OPK and def shown as positive - have heard these can pick up hcg? 2nd pic is test at 10 mins!! What do u think??!!

Haha no amount of telling him the sperm doesn't sort everything out seems to work!

Oh does that mean you'd have had twins then frob? You might well just need a bit of time after the MC and then you'll be back to being super fertile again. Fingers crossed!

frobskottle · 15/05/2016 15:21

Well maybe proving your husband right as I got pregnant after DTD once for my miscarriage. We weren't supposed to be trying but I'd been talking about it and asking to (meaning to prep my husband for TTC in Nov) anyway we DTD once in Aug and then he was like what on earth are we doing so we stopped but I got pregnant anyway and we were both v excited.
In a partial molar like I had two sperm fertilise the egg so my hubby definitely thinks he has super sperm!

wispaxmas · 15/05/2016 14:17

Sunny, my DH thinks he has super sperm, too Hmm. It's a male pride thing, they all think they're superman!

SunnyDays1987 · 15/05/2016 13:48

Sorry about the miscarriage too. How quickly did you conceive that time?

SunnyDays1987 · 15/05/2016 13:46

Ah sorry! Yeah I'm sure it's not always faster. Time will tell anyway. My husband is one of these very optimistic people when it comes to TTC. I think he thinks he has super sperm! How old is your first now?

frobskottle · 15/05/2016 13:33

Sorry thought you meant If you were me you'd test on the 23rd!! Good luck on the 23rd I'll probably test on the 25th.
With my first I tested 5 days after AF was due as my husband wouldn't believe me that I was late and wanted to test with him. By then I knew I was pregnant anyway!
I conceived on 3rd cycle with #1 and am on 3rd now for #2 (have discounted the first two after my miscarriage as they were not normal. I don't think it's always quicker with number 2 but crossing my fingers for you!

SunnyDays1987 · 15/05/2016 13:28

Well I think I'm 5dpo today so by 23rd I'd be 13dpo which is cd35 and I don't usually have a period start after that. For you though I think it depends how long you usually have between OV and AF. I have got FRERs to test with anyways so it should matter for me. Standard tests usually say day after your period is due (I think?!) but I don't know if that's accurate or not because I tested at 15dpo with a FRER last time too so the line came up instantly! I temped last time too so that made it easier to know when to test. This time it's a bit more of guess work with CM and CP. Probably best to test 14dpo plus if you want to make sure you're definitely late!

frobskottle · 15/05/2016 13:24

Sunny Really on the 23rd? I'm due on my AF on the 24th I thought. Would I have to use an early response to test then?
Good luck. will head to that website and check it out sounds fun.
When I get negatives at the moment my main positive is that I didn't ever really want a baby close to christmas but that's getting further away now. Just want to have not too big an age gap between #1 and #2 so find that hardest to deal with especially after mc that would have meant us having one with a

SunnyDays1987 · 15/05/2016 13:18

Great news on the positive OPK Jpeg! Hope you have plenty of time for DTD.

Only cycle 1 for me Sooz. DS was conceived on cycle 2 though, and most people I know in RL conceived their second faster than their first so DH is convinced I'll be pregnant this month. No pressure then....Hmm. Boooo to the BFN! Are you using ICs?

SoozC · 15/05/2016 13:05

Sunny, cycle #4. You?

Thanks jpeg, I caved and tested just now, bfn. I have to much time on my hands at the weekend!

jpeg28 · 15/05/2016 12:31

Sooz that's a lot of symptoms! I hope you get you're BFP... For me when I got pg it was the boobs that gave it away! Normally before af they are heavy but when I was pg they were so sore I could barely touch them!!

I just got my first positive OPK since my MC... Cd23. So looks like I'll test for my BFP on the 29th/30th may! Determined to test before the month is up!!

SunnyDays1987 · 15/05/2016 12:30

Yeah I'm trying not to tell my DH too much because it really affected me last time so I've promised to stay calm about it all this time....! What cycle are you on again?

SoozC · 15/05/2016 12:23

That's a good idea, Sunny, I'll steal that one if I may. I really need to stay positive! If I'm down it ends up affecting my DP and makes me feel worse :(

SunnyDays1987 · 15/05/2016 12:16

Ooh I'm off to check the website! I'll do anything to pass the time!!

I'm really hoping not to be too bothered if AF arrives. I'm going to write a list as the time approaches of all the reasons why it wouldn't be the end of the world if I'm not pregnant this month! Hopefully it'll help if I feel shit!

Is it just the higher level of progesterone that make you feel a bit different in the second half of your cycle then?
