Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

Thanks all!

I am still spotting a tiny bit, light brown and only on wiping. Hoping it goes away soon as it is very unsettling Sad And yes Jod, its my first pregnancy. I am neurotic at the best of times however I stupidly thought after the BFP it would be all excitement and a bit of a break after the TTC worrying... Never thought the 12WW was so unbelievably hideously hard. Find myself a nervous wreck most days. Just trying to keep calm, after all the Drs at the hospital said this was really common. Please keep all crossed for me and I promise not to moan at you guys anymore xxx

I would defo try a phone call Prty. My GP did that initially and I had to pick up forms for blood tests. We then had an appointment to discuss in more depth. Even if you meet the nurse first its good to know things are moving.

Completely feel you on the distractions Snowy. I am sorry its been so shitty this month and hope you find a laptop!

Hi Neetie! Congrats on the job news and exciting about the puppy! Super cute! You must show us some pics Smile All crossed for you that AF stays away.

neetie1 · 06/04/2016 10:50

Hi all sorry I have been absent lately. School hols, getting a rescue puppy (six month old collie cross) and also the tablets I started to take for anxiety whilst helping did nothing for my sex drive or my wanting to have babies. Plus I heard some good news about my job which I can celebrate soon so all in all fairly busy. Currently 3 days before af and not expecting much of a chance this month anyway, hope you are all good..

Ooo stats..

Name: Neetie
Age: 43
TTC: For just over a year now

glitterpoppy · 06/04/2016 08:02

prty try the nurse, I initially saw the nurse at my surgery and he arranged all my bloods and ultrasound tests and referred me to the gynaecologist at the hospital.. He was really good. Even the hospital mentioned how thorough he had been!!

PrtyPsn · 06/04/2016 07:41

pirsy I'm not sure but I will check! They keep trying to book me in with the nurse but I know she won't be able to book tests or refer if needed and don't want to waste her or my time!
snowy hopefully the TWW will allow you some time to relax - I know it can drag etc but you don't need to think about DTD x

snowy1982 · 06/04/2016 06:42

Oh I know pirsy, I have done plenty of ranting in here, I just didn't have the energy to rant this time round. Between work and TTC I just feel totally drained at the minute, but I will pick myself up again, I always do Smile

Pirsy1 · 06/04/2016 00:24

Flowers its lovely to hear from you! It must have been so amazing to see the heartbeat. I hope things go smoothly from here. Dont feel bad about popping back - its a good reminder for us that it can happen!!

Prty and kitten sorry about the imminent AFs! Do you know what occurred to me ... Does your GP do phone consultations? You dont really need to be physically be seen by them, they just need to chat to you and order some tests. Not all surgeries do telephone stuff, but might be useful if you find it difficult to get in for an appointment.

Poppy that is a shame that they couldnt give you any news. I hope you get your appointment for the end of May. It seems like a long time away now but it will actually be here before we know it!

Snowy I left the group for a bit before (after my DH initially said he wouldn't go and do an SA), because I just needed a total break from TTC. You should def use us to just rant at though and say all the stuff you cant in real life - thats what we're here for!

PrtyPsn · 05/04/2016 20:53

kitten I've had some pinkish cm tonight so she's a comin' (sigh)
Tried to call the docs today, no appointments this week, can't book for next week until after Thurs Angry

snowy1982 · 05/04/2016 20:39

As has become my way for the TWW, I have a new project on the go to keep me distracted, this time I am laptop searching (this whole TTC malarkey is turning out a bit expensive with all my distraction projects)

MrsKittenPie · 05/04/2016 20:32

snowy - sorry you were feeling down. Hope your 2ww passes quickly.
glitter - how frustrating- waiting drives me mad too
mrsflowers - glad all okay with your scan, sorry you've been having such a rough time. You aren't smug or patronising, it's good to hear from you.
prty - good news af not arrived - hope it stays away.
I have my usual pre af brown cm so onto cycle 23 for me. I'm desperate now, can't believe I'm at the 2 year mark soon. Beyond gutted Sad

PrtyPsn · 05/04/2016 19:41

flowers really nice to see you :) you are more than welcome here, always will be, lovely xx sorry you've had a rough time but happy news of heartbeat!!
snowy (hugs) you should have come and ranted here - don't worry about dragging us down, we are here to help and support. Glad you have got through it and into the TWW :)
So AF ain't here yet... I can feel it though in my foof bones.

Jod1985 · 05/04/2016 18:10

Hi mrsflowers I have had 2 DC and I am just like you described in the 12WW. Is this your first?

MrsFlowers82 · 05/04/2016 16:42

Hi all - found you! Great title!

Not sure if I should even post here, I don't want to upset anyone, but I still don't feel ready to go over to the grads pages - I don't know them and I like you ladies!

I am sorry so many of you are having a crappy time, if it's any consolation I am not having the best time either... I had an early scan today as had some bleeding. Apparently bleeding is very common (according to nurse in EGU), but it totally freaked me out. All is fine - incubating a 7+4 blueberry and saw a heartbeat... Feel shaken up but better than this morning. Am constantly worried though. Although I'm happy, it's like there is always this anxiety... The wait to 12 weeks is like the TWW on slow mo without even the prospect of wine Confused

Hello to all newbies and fingers crossed for you! These ladies are the best and can help you through anything.

Glitter and Prty sorry for the BFNs, keeping all crossed for you. You never know what can happen and it ain't over till AF arrives or, as in my case, it ain't necessary over even if you think she has! There is hope. Huge hugs to you Kitten over the baby bomb and also to Snowy. Sorry it's been so tough for you both lately. Great news about OH's swimmers Pirsy! Hope they swim like Olympic gold winners and bring it home this FW! Welcome back Bex - missed you and hope you are doing OK.

Honestly hope I don't annoy anyone by posting, the last thing I want to do is come over all smug and patronising... I do know how you all feel and I am keeping all crossed for everyone. Much love xxxx

snowy1982 · 05/04/2016 15:25

pirsy waiting times really frustrate me, if i am seriously tempted to go private for all of this.

glitterpoppy · 05/04/2016 14:51

pirsy phoned the docs but they couldn't tell me anything, they said I should ring the hospital and see if they could tell me anything. Phoned the hospital and they couldn't tell me anything either and just said I'd need to wait for the 3 month review appointment. She did say shed try get on to book it in but with the waiting times I'm looking at end of May anyway!! Grr.. Waiting so long drives you mad!!

snowy1982 · 05/04/2016 13:46

Hi everyone, sorry was a little AWOL there, was deep in the middle of a painful FW - really felt like such a chore this time round - and was feeling very down with it so decided to give the group a wide birth so as not to bring anyone down with me. So, back into the TWW I go.

Stats for all the newbies - I'm 33, TTC #1 and on cycle 18 - starting fertility testing and my bloods and DH SA all came back clear so waiting for the referral appointment for the next round of tests.

MrsKittenPie · 05/04/2016 10:44

prty - I know, they don't have a clue sometimes.
Sorry to hear about impending af. Yes it's worth going to docs- my docs is exactly the same - can't pre book, always work time - so frustrating

PrtyPsn · 05/04/2016 07:20

Oh dear, why don't our OH seem to get as obsessed as us?!
Slight change in cm colour today, reckon it will be full blown AF before dinner :(
Think I'm gonna call the docs, it's been a full year now. Problem is they do not let you pre book appointments and they generally only have them in work time

I love creme eggs!! Count me in for those too Grin
Thanks pirsy - I'm pretty sure there's not a bfp waiting for me. I had cramps and lower back ache this afternoon so af is definitely gearing up to break my heart yet again. That's really positive about the referral and cd7 is good - the calm before the storm! I swear my dh has not got the first clue of how conception occurs - he thinks that when we dtd last night it could have been the one - he's about a week out! Confused

Pirsy1 · 04/04/2016 22:37

I have a large stash of creme eggs too.

Sorry about the BFN Prty. Hugs for you. Enjoy the ice-cream. What is your next move? Are you going to see the doctor, or persevere a bit longer first?

Poppy I know PCOS is such a pain because of the irregular / anovulatory cycles. It makes it really hard to predict when you are fertile. Just remember that they can give you medicines to get you ovulating which have good success rates. Did you ring up to chase up your results / appointment?

Kitten I hope your laid back approach this cycle is going to yield a BFP. Ive got my fingers crossed.

I am on CD7 now so in that nice relaxing bit before FW hits and I have to start trying to get DH to have sex every other day. Now that we know he has good swimmers, I rung up the GP today and they are going to refer us to the fertility clinic so things are going forward.

MrsKittenPie · 04/04/2016 21:50

Did somebody say ice cream? I'm in, af will be here soon a reckon.
Sorry for BFNs glitter and prty Cake Flowers

glitterpoppy · 04/04/2016 20:40

I thought it was due 6 days ago, but then again I have PCOS and very irregular cycles so think I've totally misjudged everything. I had a positive OPK a while ago which made me think I was ovulating but now I'm doubting I did.. With PCOS, your hormone levels can be raised so OBKs don't always work.i should have learnt my lesson by now!

I could have ice cream prty yummy

PrtyPsn · 04/04/2016 20:25

glitter solidarity, sister! I'm DBAFD 1, just bloody caved because I had 'a good feeling' BFN and now I'm having period cramps! Join me in ploughing through a family sized rib of ice cream?

Hugs glitter WineBrewCakeFlowers when is the witch due?

glitterpoppy · 04/04/2016 19:26

Another day, another BFN. Why do I do it to myself? I think I'm not going to test anymore and just wait for AF.

Jod1985 · 04/04/2016 14:40

14days PO is next Monday. I THINK I can do that lol! I might cave at weekend though. I don't think I can wait till the 20th April although probably should.
