Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

Hi ladies just looking to see if I can join....I have lurked on so many threads but never felt brave enough to join!! Reading through the posts on here I feel like I could have written most of them!!

Been ttc #2 for about 18 months now...had an appointment with the fertility clinic at the end of March but cancelled it as I finally got a BFP which turned into a chemical just after 4 weeks. I felt devastated but wanted to stay positive & feel that it has to be a sign that it still can happen & maybe just wasn't meant to be just yet?? AF due Wednesday & despite promising myself I wouldn't I have been doing my usual symptom spotting & googling any slight change. Urrrgh!!!

Prsy laptop is great all pretty and red and is providing a good distraction, though I may have over distracted myself, haven't had a minute to stop and think all weekend, between work, laptop, studying, new laptop and searching for a new haircut I haven't stopped all weekend. Am sitting down in front of the tv for a spot of relaxation for the first time all weekend.

Prty don't be worrying too much about appointment, easier said than done I know, I was the same when I had mine, but doctor was brilliant and as others have said it is only preliminary testing so it's highly unlikely that they will say they can't do anything

Pirsy1 · 10/04/2016 19:17

Dont worry Prty. This is only the first visit - they will do some bloods on you and arrange an SA for your DH. I was nervous before I went but the GP was lovely and very sympathetic. There is no harm in getting some prelim tests done whilst you carry on trying. I have got to thinking that if there is a serious problem then I would rather know and make peace with that than carry on hoping and trying every month. Flowers is right though - there is loads they can do these days. Xx

MrsFlowers82 · 10/04/2016 18:20

I highly doubt that lovely. There is so much that can be done nowadays. I am sure it will happen for you xxx

Jod1985 · 10/04/2016 18:12

Hugs Party. Will be thinking of you. 💗💗💗

PrtyPsn · 10/04/2016 17:18

9am flowers think I'm just worried they are going to say that there's nothing they can do to help or something is seriously wrong so it will never happen for us

MrsFlowers82 · 10/04/2016 16:57

I see it still Jod but yes, it's faint. Keeping all crossed for you.

What time is your appointment Prty? Try not to worry and look at it as a positive step xxx

Jod1985 · 10/04/2016 15:20

I was thinking chemical too. Also thinking maybe I didn't ovulate when I thought I did. Just a waiting game I guess. I did an IC at 11:30 today and got a very faint line.

I can still see the line jod though it is fainter, could it be chemical?
I'm a bit brighter today pirsy thanks, starting to dread my appointment tomorrow :/

Jod1985 · 10/04/2016 11:20

Hi all, I think I imagined the line. Tomorrow will be two weeks from ovulation and I got a BFN yesterday afternoon on a Digi. Still feel PG but likely my body playing tricks or side effects of Mirena removal. The inverted is today's test which is the least faint of them all.

Snowy how is the new laptop? Providing adequate distraction I hope! I've never heard of the multi vits - anything is worth a try I guess but they look quite expensive.

Prty how are you feeling? Hope you're feeling a bit better today Flowers

I am at my inlaws visiting our gorgeous puppy. She has such a lovely nature. Can't wait to bring her home when we eventually move into our house.

Jod I can still see a line. You need to wait a few days and test again. Fingers crossed it stays positive for you. Try not to worry.

PrtyPsn · 08/04/2016 18:12

Just checking in to say I'm reading everything but just lurking. Tough AF.

snowy1982 · 08/04/2016 14:15

Was reading some reviews on it, whether or not there is any true to the 'baby in every bottle' review some people are giving it, most people say it is a good vitamin to take, that it really helps with fatigue etc - which the way work is at the moment I have in bucket loads - so may not hurt to try it anyway.

Am picking up my new laptop tonight, so needing a new distraction for the other half of the TTW, so am looking for a new hairdo - i think a change will help give me a wee boost after all the stressing out lately.

MrsFlowers82 · 08/04/2016 14:11

I see a line Jod but very faint... Will you test again in a few days? FX that it gets darker.

Snowy I have never heard of it I'm afraid. Think it is probably like everything TTC - some will swear by it, for others it will make no difference. Even after a BFP I am none the wiser as to what works and what doesn't, seems the only thing that worked for me was being totally stressed worried about my mum and running round like a maniac, drinking loads of booze and not thinking about it! Seems to be no rhyme or reason to any of it! Frustrating I know!

snowy1982 · 08/04/2016 13:43

Has anyone heard of this vitamin www.conceiveeasy.com/get-pregnant/how-does-geritol-help-you-get-pregnant/

My best friend just sent me a link about, her friend in work who is TTC has been talking about it loads

Jod1985 · 08/04/2016 10:47

I did test again. It's still very faint. I didn't want to post as you guys seem a little down.

MrsFlowers82 · 08/04/2016 10:23

I hear that Jod!!

Did you test again?

Jod1985 · 08/04/2016 10:10

Getting pregnant, being pregnant and having kids....it's all hard. I'm always very honest about how hard I found being a mum. I'm always doubting my ability, wondering if I'm doing right by my kids, worrying about them. I wouldn't change it but it is hard. This is just the first step into a long journey of loads of happiness but also stress. Just think how you will feel when you see that BFP. Baby dust to all!! Xxxx

MrsKittenPie · 08/04/2016 08:52

Thanks mrs and jod - I was having a bit of a rant last night. Sometimes it's hard to pick yourself up yet again. It wasn't supposed to be this hard to get pregnant Sad

Jod1985 · 08/04/2016 07:50

Hugs ladies it will happen. Keep the faith. Flowers

MrsFlowers82 · 08/04/2016 07:45

Huge hugs Kitten and Prty. At least it's Friday, know it's no consolation but fill the weekend with Wine and Chocolate xxx

MrsKittenPie · 07/04/2016 23:50

prty - sorry about af Sad. It arrived here too - a few days early, to really upset me. I know what you mean, you input cd1 and then think .... There's another month I'm wishing away. I hate, hate, hate ttc. I hate smug pregnant women too.
Been with a friend tonight whose friend has just found out she is pregnant but doesn't want it. Why is life so unfair, I'd give almost anything to have those 2 lines on that pregnancy test and it never, ever happens

glitterpoppy · 07/04/2016 21:27

I've heard that people's hair can change when pregnant so maybe that's what she meant.. Not pregnant though so maybe I've just had a crazy hair growth spurt?! Grin

Pirsy1 · 07/04/2016 21:09

Prty Im sorry you're feeling fed up. It is hard to keep picking yourself back up again every cycle. I have had times when Ive thought I should just go and get a coil in or something so I dont have to think about it anymore! Once AF eases a bit you will start to feel a positive again. Going to the doctors on Monday is also a good thing and another step forward.

Poppy I have never heard of crazy hair as a symptom before?!
