Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

8 days prty....ill try not to buy any pregnancy tests until next weekend!

TMI26 · 01/05/2016 13:00

I don't hold any pregnancy tests in the home....I just get too impatient and start testing willy nilly the last time I thought I may be pregnant was 5 months ago nd I tested about 3 times because I was convinced I was doing threat wrong or something.....

Pirsy1 · 01/05/2016 12:57

Congrats on the AF poppy ... seems to wrong to say that on a TTC thread but it is good news! Its all go for you with your appointment coming up too.

Did you manage to work your magic snowy? I find it is a hard balance to find between doing enough DTD at the right time and not 'over-working' my DH so that he still has some enthusiasm!

Bex sorry you're at the year mark. Does your friend know that you're trying?

TMI welcome to this thread!

Fingers crossed for everyone in the 2ww.

Hope you are all having a good bank holiday! I am supposed to be doing some work today but feeling a bit tired and fuzzy headed after a few glasses of wine last night so think Im going to lie on the sofa and watch Catfish instead.

PrtyPsn · 01/05/2016 12:27

Yeah, I range from around 31 - 36 days as a rule, most regularly occurring 33 days for a cycle, it's a nightmare playing the guessing game!
I've got about 8 days to go so I'll wait it out with you :) I'm trying not to obsess too much but not succeeding!

TMI26 · 01/05/2016 12:01

If it's clockwork again then AF is due 8 days from now

TMI26 · 01/05/2016 11:34

Not very certain at all, I have a longer cycle than the average woman, it ranges from 32-39, there are times when I completely miss a month too which makes everything impossible. It has recently been more regular so I am hoping this month is the month....

PrtyPsn · 01/05/2016 06:49

Hi TMI quite a few of us here are around the year mark (some even longer) how certain are you of AFs dates?

Hi, so I've been trying to conceive for almost a year and have been reading this thread because I'm in bed laying next to a snoring OH and am too anxious / excited to dose off. I have a very irregular cycle, when we begin conceiving I downloaded an app but actually I found it was never accurate so I stopped relying on it...I'm due on my period in a week and a half and for the last few days I have very tender / painful nipples, I've had cramps and back pain all night and have been feeling super tired all week - I do suffer from an under active thyroid so although deep down I'm really excited and cannot wait to test I don't want to get my hopes up as I have tested with a BFN before and it's very heartbreaking Sad

PrtyPsn · 30/04/2016 21:54

It's not something I suffer from but this month I had a really sore... well, if we are being totally honest, vagina Blush I say vagina, not vulva, as it was in internal soreness but not like an abrasion, more a muscular ache.
Anyway, gross long story short, Dr Google says it can be due to ovulation and it was right in the day app says was ovulation for me.

Although haven't felt my tell tale 'ovulation pains' so might be ok until tomorrow. Speaking of ovulation pains, does anyone else have them? I am assuming the pains I get are ovulation pains, since coming of the pill I have noticed pains in my lower abdomen/side half way through my cycle without fail. When I started using OPK they peak day always matched the pains so I have to assume that's what they are

snowy1982 · 30/04/2016 21:01

Some good suggestions there Prty but unfortunately DH has been snoring on the couch since about 7 Angry

PrtyPsn · 30/04/2016 19:05

snowy we are women, seduction is like our 6th sense - an inbuilt function ;) surely you need some help washing your back or applying Vicks?

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 30/04/2016 18:33

Prty think DH might need convincing tonight Sad

PrtyPsn · 30/04/2016 18:32

Aww bex hugs and takeaway to you, lovely xx it all seems so unfair sometimes - unwanted children from thoughtless parents & us desperate and struggling every damn month :(

CD1.... Again.... 12th cycle now...

Watching a programme on tv, 10 kids, smoking over the newborn and putting coke in the older baby's bottle... Spent yesterday listening to my friend who is "burdened" with another pregnancy she didn't want...

It's all rather unfair.

PrtyPsn · 30/04/2016 17:18

snowy I know what you mean - sometimes I'm just too exhausted to even contemplate DTD but then I ALWAYS regret not making more effort when AF shows. I say do it and try as much as you can so you don't end up beating yourself up about it later

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 30/04/2016 17:14

Have a feeling I am already out this month. Today/tomorrow are prime DTD days and both me and DH are still sick and are not at all in the mood. Half of me is thinking it will be good to have a break this cycle and not be worrying about at all, but the other half of me knows that come Monday or Tuesday I will be annoyed at myself for not giving it a go.

Don't know what's wrong with me, this cold keeps lingering but I have also been exhausted for the last few weeks, constantly feel like I haven't had any sleep even though I've been sleeping fine

karryk · 30/04/2016 13:22

My debit card is my best friend at the moment...lol Smile

snowy1982 · 29/04/2016 20:22

Prty find a distraction, it helps me, I can recommend remortgaging, getting a better deal on pet insurance or buying a laptop. This whole TTC thing is getting quite expensive for me Grin

PrtyPsn · 29/04/2016 17:01

DBAFD9... can't stop looking for symptoms... send help

Hi neetie glad you're ok. How annoying about your bloods falling on weekends, I had that last time!

AF finally showed up today, at least it showed up in its own without having to force it and made this cycle 67 days which is progress for me!!

Happy Friday everyone Grin

MrsKittenPie · 28/04/2016 21:42

Hi neetie - I was wondering how you were getting on. Sounds like you're on a similar stage in your cycle to prty and me. Let's hope for a triple bfp for us next week Grin

neetie1 · 28/04/2016 17:33

Hey guys sorry i've not been posting much....af came pretty much after my last post and is due again sometime next week. I have been made permanent at school from Sep so we are taking a very low key approach to ttc as I would prefer it if I could start the contract before falling pregnant but if we do hey ho.

Still not managed my blood test yet as my day 19 and 21 when he said I had to test have been falling on weekends grrr

Hope you are all ok xx

snowy1982 · 28/04/2016 09:24

If enjoyable DTD was all it took i think we'd all be popping out the babies by now - though it does help ease the stress.

Ovulation is due Sat/Sun so even thinking of resorting to hanging around trees in the hope of bird poop again Grin

snowy1982 · 28/04/2016 09:23

Karry thanks for sharing, i really hope Mr Shehata's treatment works for you. My reason for asking is i have coeliac disease which is an auto-immune disease so i was a tad curious. Coeliac, if controlled through diet shouldn't be causing any issues, but can lead to mc when not being controlled and fertility issues if left uncontrolled for too long, so although i have no symptoms anymore, i do sometimes wonder if maybe my problems TTC have any link to it.
