Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

TMI my 21 day bloods gave a progesterone score of 10 (I think - it was definitely low enough to even make my doctor grimace) I was starting to think I was only ovulating every other month, like one dodgy ovary and one good one - never had a positive OPK, had more EWCM some months (and none at all some months) and cycle would vary between 29ish days to 34ish days month on month... idk. Didn't get any further than that really and he didn't say what it might be indicative of, sorry :(
Flowers I can't believe how quickly time has gone - as if you are past your due date!! Crazy!! The first 10 weeks have been a combination of very sore boobs, nausea and worry... had some brown discharge for a day around 5 weeks but nothing came of it. There's definitely plenty to worry about and I'm desperate to have my scan so I can see all is ok!!
Forgot who asked but looking at dates I'll be due around June time. Thank you all for your kind wishes :) x

OMG PRTY!!!!!! Grin Grin Grin I still get emails for this thread and check in every now and then. Have been wondering where everybody has got to and hoping for you all. I have to say I held my breath as I read your post so this is simply the best news ever! Many congratulations! Does this mean you are due in July?

I hated the first 12 weeks. It was like the two week wait on slow mo. I didn't end up telling anyone until about 14 weeks - I had a couple of bleeds and only started to relax (slightly) after that. Keep focused and stay as calm as possible, the odds are in your favour! I am also sending lots of positive vibes - you deserve this happiness. Try and enjoy the journey.

Mind you, I say that as I go slowly crazy... I am now five days over due and a mix of anxiety (the longer pregnancy goes on the more time I have to think and worry), impatience (I have lost any small 'glow' I might have had and am swollen, moody, tired and have lost control of my bladder), fear of actually having to give birth (baby girl is apparently "a very healthy size"), excitement and anticipation and simply crapping it at actually having to be responsible for a small human Confused

Please do keep us posted on your journey Prty. I really am thrilled for you and am crossing all for your first scan. And to everyone else, I haven't forgotten you and I firmly believe that when the time is right it will happen for you all. Much love and light to each of you xxxxxx

Prty that is fantastic news :) very pleased to hear from you, often it's when you least expect it and good news stories on this thread give hope. Snowy waiting sucks I really don't know just why it takes so long :( my first consultation in October just sent me for more tests...with a follow up in February in other news I mentioned I'm in South Asia atm and wanted to see a consultant here (not being pregnant after 2.5 years of marriage is considered absolutely shocking btw) obviously I'm not here long enough to complete all my bloods locally but she seems to think it's just my thyroid that's making it difficult, in my fifteen minute consultation she told me to wip my top up and did an ultra scan there and then (I've been waiting for an Nhs internal scan appointment for 2 months which makes you think what all the fuss is about!) and she confirmed I do not have polycystic ovaries, I know I need an internal scan to completely rule it out but it has given my some comfort, I was on cycle day 12 so there was no egg, I'm planning on going back next week to check if there is an egg there....she noticed low progesterone levels and has prescribed me glucofage, I'm not sure if I should take them or not as I personally don't think I'm ovulating from the tests and the negative opks so it feels as though glucofage will treat the symtom not the cause (yes extensive googling has made me feel as though I'm an expert) I'm going back next week so will talk this through with her.... im just desperate ATM so really willing to try anything, I'm just confused as to why I've been giving glucofage if I do or have pcos? Anyone else with low progesterone levels????

The waiting list was 8 months for a referral, we got a letter but had already started with the private clinic so I rang and NHS said they would just push me back 3 months, but should have got the new appointment letter by now. Also doc at private clinic thinks it is then a 6-8 month wait for treatment after referral appointment Sad. If that's the case we will go straight to private I think, but gonna wait to get a timeline from NHS first.

BFP are hard to hear but they are also great to hear as well, they give us all hope, so don't you worry about talking about it. I hope your scan goes great, you have to keep us updated.

I do have some positive news from the last few months though (thankfully it's not all doom and gloom), I passed my exams I had been manically studying for and have just found (and gone sale agreed) on a new house. Hopefully I will get my third bit of good news in the next few months Smile

PrtyPsn · 16/11/2016 06:59

Thanks, lovely. I'm aware it's so hard to hear of BFP so don't wanna dwell too much on it. Just FX'd the scan is all good, seems a long wait.

Sorry to hear the cycles didn't go so well, hopefully NHS will sort something really quick. Is there s huge waiting list in your area?

snowy1982 · 16/11/2016 06:52

Prty am so happy to hear that, congratulations SmileFlowers

News not so good on my end, had 3 cycles of IUI and no joy from any of them. Private clinic has recommended going straight to IVF, so at the minute I am waiting on the NHS to give me an appointment, then we'll see what they say and take it from there

PrtyPsn · 15/11/2016 19:11

Hey snowy :) is it strange to say I'm happy and sad to see you here? Glad of the familiar face but was also hoping you got your BFP.
Short version of the last few months:
My shockingly bad progesterone levels on my 21 day bloods were a huge blow. Wheels started turning and churned out fertility paperwork. OH got sperm testing too but the days and times this was available were totally incompatible with his work. They wouldn't process anything without that and, to be honest, the whole fertility referral just freaked me.
So we carried on without really focussing; logged fertile windows but no OPK, no obsessing over AF, I even started drinking again and basically giving up all hope.
Then in September we only managed to DTD once the whole fertile window... I absolutely hate the cliche but once really is all it takes - October brought me my BFP.
10 weeks now and counting, terrified at every turn and just trying to get through each day until my dating scan.
But enough about me, catch me up - what's been going on?

How are things with you Prty

PrtyPsn · 15/11/2016 08:06

I seriously can't believe you guys kept this board alive after I abandoned you all!! I'm so sorry x

OP posts:
snowy1982 · 15/11/2016 06:51

Who knows what it will be like. Still waiting on appointment letter I was told I would have in late October

TMI26 · 11/11/2016 10:42

Hope it's not as long for you! I had my nhs consultation in October and they said in my area it was a three year wait from the time you begun concieving, I'm at the 1.5 year mark but by the time I have my next consultation I will be closer to the 2 year mark, the gyno was very clear that this is the rule 'atm' and with the reforms it is not guaranteed. Not sure of the wait in your area?

snowy1982 · 11/11/2016 08:28

Sorry to hear that too TMI Sad

Have decided to take a little break from the baby making train until the new year. Had an appointment with the private consultant this week and we've agreed that IVF is the way to go now, so we are waiting to hear back from NHS to see what time frames etc they can give us (although we have been hearing that the wait list for the treatment after the consultation is 8 mths and that in our area they only offer 1 cycle) and take it from there

TMI26 · 11/11/2016 02:12

Sorry snowy :( I'm way this month but AF arrived last week for me too...stay strong xx

snowy1982 · 02/11/2016 06:47

BFN Sad

snowy1982 · 28/10/2016 16:36

That's what I meant. When I was getting those tests done my surgery told me to ring up on CD1 and schedule them then, then there's no issues with cycle times messing it up

TMI26 · 27/10/2016 21:24

The problem with me is my cycle is never on time so I can never really predict when I should be taking my bloods, totally sucks.

snowy1982 · 27/10/2016 18:06

Thanks TMI, I really hope your dream was right.

Sorry about annoying day 21 issues, the way my surgery works it is they tell you to ring on CD1 and book in all the blood tests then (it's the only time they are good about getting you in on time) so there is no way of days being wrong

TMI26 · 27/10/2016 17:53

Hold on in there !

TMI26 · 27/10/2016 17:53

D/w everyone has bad months! Iv been terrible this month I had to my day 21 tests again, which have not worked for the third time because my period has not started on time which sent me into a frenZy of testing, it was all triggered by a dream I had where I see my sister pregnant ( which is impossible because her husband is currently Ina. Different country) my mother has this weird sense, every time she has dreamt of someone being pregnant there is a pregnancy in the family, the same has happened for deaths (although that is a more morbid thought!) so it triggered off this thought /hope process - stupid I know, I have done 3 tests all negative, maybe i was dreaming of your prefab act snowy!! I hope so-only a week to go and you shall know soon enough :)

snowy1982 · 26/10/2016 15:18

So I am one week post IUI and had been avoiding these boards to help my attempt at not obsessing this cycle. It worked up until yesterday, until I started to feel crampy. Today feeling crampy again and extremely moody/irritable - I ate the head off my boss (who, thankfully, is my dad so while I wont get in trouble I do have some serious apologising to do). Felt exactly the same way this stage last cycle (although not as moody) so am worrying that it means it will be the same outcome this time Sad

TMI26 · 22/10/2016 07:45

Don't worry pants! Everyone needs a rant, it's a stressful time, the number of times I convinced myself that I was pregnant then i arrived and I felt depressed...just let it come and try not to get overly worked up (easier said then done) willing it will not really chang anything...have you been to the docs for any checks yet?

I'm having one of them months, it's been a long time I have felt this way and I have accepted pretty much that nothing will happen until I get some treatment but I keep getting the urge to POaS !! Af due to arrive in five days so trying to hold out :/

Pantsprincess · 18/10/2016 13:01

Urgh I need help/rant/sympathy/I don't even know.

Have been casually ttc for a few months now, but for the months when we've dtd in the window and are in with a chance my periods go haywire. Every. Single. Time.

Does this happen to anyone else? It's driving me nuts. AF after the first cycle was tiny and very early. Ever since then my cycles have been a little earlier (25 days rather than 30 or so) and lighter. I now spot the day before whereas I didn't beforehand. I have basically developed a highly manageable AF with a built-in detection system which I feel incredibly guilty about moaning about!

We only managed to catch the end of the window this month around so wasn't too hopeful and put it to the back of my mind. I've now been spotting since Sat (day 22, 9DPO) and no AF yet. Needless TMI warning, but I can't detect the spotting now from a normal wipe if you know what I mean, but it's still just about there if I go looking?

Because of my stupid pattern it could be implantation, but more likely it's another weird period thing I've developed to taunt me. Has anyone else's AF changed right when they start TTC, should I be looking into it?

Thinking about grabbing a test later, but I know I'll kick myself when it comes up negative and then a tidal wave AF hits me immediately after.

Gahhhhhhh. Angry

snowy1982 · 18/10/2016 12:36

We all need an offload every so often don't apologise. Sorry things are stressful at home, hopefully a wee break away will do the world of good for you.

No one else in my car, but 2 other cars and a lorry were involved. Thankfully there doesn't seem to have a been too much injuries, damage to cars is another thing. Still waiting for the verdict on mine. Keep thinking that after all this hassle, surely this must be my month

TMI26 · 18/10/2016 11:56

Blimmey, wow -are you ok? Who else was in the car - are they ok? Eekk ....good news on the lead follicle hopefully this will be the one for you, best of luck with Wednesday! We are going away in a few weeks time so I'm just trying to distract myself, tbh things have been really stressful at home - non baby related issues but there is so much going on with constant arguments and tears, I hope things get better as I feel a lot of tension in my body, my head is constantly numb and my shoulders tense up - not a great environment for baby making (and not a great atmosphere either) I'm going through the blood test cycle again, just had my day 21, I'm hoping to start my period in a week so I don't need to take the blood tests again and I can then take my results abroad with me, I think I am going to try one cycle of clomid whilst I am abroad - I know I should probably wait and the doctors in the uk will not be happpy but I'm fed up of waiting, it will be a test cycle so if it doesn't work it will be followed by an internal scan in December to check for pcos, then a UK round of clomid before we decide if we go private or not, we have passed the 18 month mark and I am pretty much certain it will not happen naturally, it feels like my life is on pause at the moment - all my plans revolv around me getting pregnant. Hope it is soon :) for the both of us sorry for the off load!!

snowy1982 · 18/10/2016 08:56

It's been an eventful few days TMI. I was in a car accident on Friday on my way to the scan so I missed it. Managed to get another one on Saturday, which showed one lead follicle (the others just seemed to stop developing) and had another yesterday which showed 1 lead at 18mm. So I triggered last night (they changed to drugs for that and it was the most awkward thing ever) and IUI on Wednesday
