Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

babydance First Response Early Results, pricey but good - I always use cheapies first but the later AF is then the more likely I am to whip out a FRER!
snowy it is a bit of a dilemma, I'd weigh up pros and cons then see what OH thinks x

Prty it is very tempting, especially now I know it will be at least August before I get any further on, then there will be consultations and more testing, so if we do need any treatment I imagine it would be October at least before we are in a position to start. Don't know what to do now TBH, gonna have to think about it a bit

babydances · 09/05/2016 22:20

Thank you, what's FRER?

PrtyPsn · 09/05/2016 22:11

snowy at least you are on the list. A very kind offer by your mum, I'd be tempted to take it xx
babydance could be too early, if wait a few days and try again, personally I prefer FRER x
Managed to get a GP appointment for late next week to discuss blood results.
I'm sure it's probably nothing but feeling a little anxious as this AFcwas almost identical to the one I had before my late chemical/early mc :/

Clear blue I would say is the best

babydances · 09/05/2016 19:55

Yes maybe, what test do people recommend?

Lovetropic1 · 09/05/2016 18:58

Babydances you might be testing too early?!

snowy1982 · 09/05/2016 13:37

Got through to the hospital - 34 week waiting list (minimum) for referral appointment - which means the earliest I can hope for is the middle of August

babydances · 09/05/2016 11:08

Hi everyone! I posted elsewhere before I found this thread :D
So I've been spotting brown for 5 days. Had 2 instances of red drops but everyday I've just spotted brown. However today i tested and got a BFN is it a period or have a tested too early? My periods last 6 days, are heavy and obv red and clots (tmi, sorry!). I have no idea when my period is dude as I'm on day 51 of my cycle and hunk stress has thrown me out of sync.

Is it over for his month or is is too early?

snowy1982 · 09/05/2016 10:52

Pirsy and Kitten yes i would really recommend it, for relaxation if nothing else. Obviously we talked through all my TTC history, she said on paper i should extremely healthy from a fertility point of view so she was surprised that we weren't having any luck. She did advise me to find out what hospital my GP had referred me to and to contact them directly, she said that had helped some of her other clients speed up the referral process.

In other news, I had been talking to my mum about the long referral wait at the weekend and she has told me that if I want to go privately she will give me the money for it. It is such a tempting offer but my parents have given me so much in the past that I don't want to take any more (well for now I don't but who knows how desperate I will get waiting on this referral).

Pirsy1 · 09/05/2016 07:33

Poppy I totally know where you're coming from. Sometimes I go into John Lewis and just walk around all the baby stuff. Then I have to give myself a little shake and realise I jist torturing myself.

Kitten Im glad you're going back to the doctors.

Prty that sounds like a very tough day. You just want to screm 'when's it going to be my turn?!'

Welcome to the group Lovetropic. Hope AF turns up soon or better soon a BFP.

Reflexology sounds good Snowy. Anything to help relieve stress is good I think.

I think its FW this week. Going to be a bit tricky I think because DH is on long days at work and I am away at a course Weds night. We DTD last night and Im going to try for Tues, Thurs and poss Fri because then Im away at a hen do for the weekend. Not sure how this will go but a girl can try!

Lovetropic1 · 08/05/2016 22:33

Prtypsn travel doesnt help either!

PrtyPsn · 08/05/2016 22:09

Thanks all. Been a tough day, long distance travel to see OHs family (including a baby) too many 'your turn next' comments.
kitten that's my next step, when I finally get an appointment! Good side if AF being early us my 21 day bloods are only a day or two out rather than four so hopefully it might help...
lovetropic welcome :) try not to panic, it can take up to a year for the pill to come out of your system or maybe it will be a BFP, just a bitblatebjn showing up!

Hi peeps!
Ttc #1
cycle 6 of ttc
8 months off the pill and 29yo! Normal cycles and relatively healthy lifestyle! 3 weeks late and a very definite negitive! Hard not be disheartened!! Aaahhhh!!

MrsKittenPie · 08/05/2016 20:41

Hi everyone
Thanks for all your lovely messages the other day when I was gutted about af turning up. It really did hit me hard. Yes I am going to go back to the doctors - I actually rang last week but they have a silly system where you have to ring at a set time to get appointments after work time. I'm going to push for some investigations to be done on the nhs. I know I wouldn't be eligible for treatment but surely they can have a look for me.
prty - I'm so sorry lovely. I know exactly what you're going through. And sorry you had the babybombs too, they really are the worst. I still haven't recovered from the one I got a few weeks ago and am actively avoiding the girl now, pathetic I know but I just can't take it - seeing her growing bump, and just feeling insanely jealous and bitter that it's not me.
snowy - I had reflexology last year for a few months, I found it really relaxing too, glad you enjoyed it.

glitterpoppy · 08/05/2016 20:32

I've actually gone abit crazy.. Tonight I've created a new board on Pinterest titled nursery and been pinning nursery ideas I like... I actually don't help myself feel better! My friend announced the birth of their baby today and although I was happy for them, the amount of pictures and congratulations messages I'm seeing is driving me slightly insane.

karryk · 08/05/2016 18:36

Sorry Prty....big hugs. Our time will come xx

glitterpoppy · 08/05/2016 17:20

Sorry prty grab some chocolate and cake or maybe ice cream to make yourself feel better CakeChocolate

Pirsy1 · 08/05/2016 08:34

Sorry Prty. Have a good cry and let it all out. Hope your DP is looking after you.

snowy1982 · 08/05/2016 07:36

Sorry Prty, have a wee weep or a rage or whatever works for you (chocolate goes without saying) and then recharge yourself and start thinking positively about the next cycle Flowers Chocolate

Pisssssedofff · 07/05/2016 22:12
