Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

Pirsy unfortunately I don't think it's exciting, I think it's just one of those cycles when things aren't as normal, I ovulated late so I think it has just thrown everything off.

That's great news about the lack of waiting list, me and my 34 week wait are super jealous right now Grin

Pirsy1 · 16/05/2016 08:32

Ahhhhh snowy - that's exciting! Yes people at work will be wondering what's the matter because you're going to be popping to the loo every 5 mins. Really really hope AF stays away!

Poppy that's great you have your appointment tomorrow - you will have a plan at least whatever they say.

I have had a letter to say we have being referred for IVF, they are waiting to hear back about NHS funding, and there is no waiting list at the moment which is really good news!

snowy1982 · 16/05/2016 07:50

And thank you ladies for helping keep me sane yesterday, it's days like that that you realise how helpful these groups really are. Flowers and Chocolate for all of you

snowy1982 · 16/05/2016 07:48

I understand the nervousness glitter I'd be exactly the same, but no matter what comes of it it is still a step in the right direction.

I have my next reflexology appointment this evening, really looking forward to it as I am definitely in need of some relaxation. Had such a bad sleepless night, up a million times to check for AF. Hasn't arrived yet, I normally get it first thing in the morning but I know that doesn't mean anything. Think it will be a long day of running to swab every time I feel the slightest twinge.

glitterpoppy · 16/05/2016 07:42

Just been trying to catch up before work. Keeping my fingers crossed for you snowy

It's a fresh new week and my follow up hospital appointment is tomorrow, I can't wait to finally know what's going on and to discuss what to do next although I'm feeling a little nervous!!

snowy1982 · 15/05/2016 19:57

Thanks Pirsy, I just don't know what has got into me this cycle, I never normally struggle this bad. It would probably have been a waste of money anyway, I am sure she will be here first thing in the morning as normal

Pirsy1 · 15/05/2016 19:33

I think you did the right thing Snowy. Wait and see tomorrow. Fingers crossed AF stays away and then it will be really exciting to test! XX

snowy1982 · 15/05/2016 18:33

Well the shops are officially closed and I resisted going out to buy a test. It was a very close call, especially after I had another bird poo incident when out walking the pups, really had to talk myself out of seeing that as a sign that I should get one Smile

snowy1982 · 15/05/2016 13:42

Pirsy I keep repeating that to myself, so far it's working, might get DH to hide my keys

Pirsy1 · 15/05/2016 13:13

Its a tricky one Snowy but I would try to resist the urge. If AF doesnt show tomorrow buy one on the way home to use on Tuesday morning.

snowy1982 · 15/05/2016 12:40

Trying so hard to talk myself out of going to the chemist for a test, don't know why I am struggling so much this month

PrtyPsn · 15/05/2016 10:26

snowy FXd so tightly for you, lovely xx

Snowy fingers crossed! I hope this month is the one!

I have been at a hen party this weekend. My close friends know we are trying and that we have been for a while etc. My oldest friend told me that they have started trying for number 2 so I am already thinking that she is going to be announcing a pregnancy soon and Im still going to be trying! At least Im prepared. Xx

snowy1982 · 15/05/2016 09:13

Just gonna wait to see if it is late or not. Had some pre AF like niggles yesterday afternoon, but nothing since then.

MrsKittenPie · 15/05/2016 08:51

snowy - yes it is going to be a long couple of days. Hopefully af stays well away. Are you going to test or just wait til it's late?

snowy1982 · 15/05/2016 08:46

So here I am at the business end of TWW. AF officially due today but as I ovulated a day late am not expecting it until tomorrow, it's going to be a long day or two

snowy1982 · 14/05/2016 22:20

Getting less and less hopeful, some normal feeling pre AF pains earlier today, they have disappeared again but still believe AF is imminent

MrsKittenPie · 14/05/2016 21:38

snowy yes my body does the same to me. Every month it's something different that manages to get my hopes up - but it's always just a cruel trick and mind games, it's vile. I truly hate ttc. Hopefully for you it's not just a trick though

snowy1982 · 14/05/2016 09:13

I don't know about promising Kitten, generally my pre AF symptoms are always just a mild cramping, but every so often my body plays tricks on me and sends me some different one and then I get my hopes up just to be disappointed all over again, so I am trying my very hardest (and it is so hard) not to read too much into it this time round

MrsKittenPie · 14/05/2016 08:49

snowy - that sounds promising - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Yes I can understand the temptation would be strong!

snowy1982 · 14/05/2016 08:40

Kitten yeah I will only test if I am actually late, although the temptation to nip up to the chemist to buy a test is really strong this time. I'm ok, just been feeling very odd this week, really unusual pains since Tuesday, it doesn't feel like the usual pre AF pains, it's more like a feeling of pressure, but that means f all I'm afraid, it could still be pre AF. I'll just have to wait and see

MrsKittenPie · 14/05/2016 08:21

Hi everyone Smile - hope you all have a lovely weekend.
snowy - how are you doing lovely? Are you waiting til Monday to test?
karry - sorry you had a baby bomb - it really is a mystery how some people are blessed like you say but that seems to be the way it always goes.
I avoided a social event last night as I knew there was a friend going who would be proudly showing off her bump whilst people would be asking me why I wasn't. I honestly couldn't face it, I think I'd have ended up crying/losing my temper. I don't want to see bumps, it's hard enough as it is without having to plaster on a smile whilst feeling like a complete failure.

snowy1982 · 13/05/2016 19:16

I haven't given up drink while TTC but I drink on so few occasions (and when I do it's not heavily) that I don't think it will really hurt.

Prty my MIL knows we are TTC but she never asks about it, and if she hears anyone else asking she always says 'they've plenty of time yet' so thankfully I don't have that pressure - she really struggled TTC herself so she knows how it feels. Although we do have a guy in work how is a bit unique, and he doesn't have any boundaries, almost every week since we got married he asks me if I'm pregnant yet. Its so frustrating, but he is a special case and he really doesn't understand that he shouldn't ask questions like that

karryk · 13/05/2016 18:44

the night I conceived last year I'd had a bailey's...or two Blush obviously it didn't end well (mmc) so not advocating it.. although the two aren't related Hmm....but seriously considering bagging a bottle on my way home! Grin

PrtyPsn · 13/05/2016 17:54

snowy they don't know we are TTC but I agree that people should have more sense in general. Why isn't it perceived as rude to ask about someone's sex life and intentions?!
bex no but I'm on the edge this week!!
