Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

I can well believe that Pirsy.

Retail therapy done, purchased 2 lovely dresses for my hols (that I don't really need but i sure deserve them today)

Pirsy1 · 19/05/2016 09:21

Snowy my husband is a big liverpool fan too! We actually live in Liverpool and had been to all the European games this season. He had a ticket for last night but gave it to a friend. There is a real feeling of disappoitment in the city today.

snowy1982 · 19/05/2016 09:12

Glitter I had stopped using OPKs as I was so regular and they were always coinciding with my ovulation pains so I decided it was less stressful to not use them. Already told DH I was going to buy them this month to get me back on track again, time for another of my famous 'I'm barren' shopping trips to boots, stocking up on OPKs, folic acid and sanitary towels.

So good about the funding Pirsy, that's amazing news Smile

Oh Lucy I know that look, imagine what it will be like 18+ months in, that look is permanently in my DH face these days. God love my DH this morning, he got woke from a hungover sleep (he's a Liverpool fan so was drowning his sorrows last night) for a quick weep and a wail from me before I went to work, he looked totally bemused and confused

Lucy1308 · 19/05/2016 09:05

I would also try OPKs snowy they will at least help you pin point "the surge" (anyone else think that that sounds like a really bad horror movie?)

Good news about IVF funding pirsy, fingers crossed its all quick and vv easy from this point!!!

In other news yet another of my friends is pregnant, I've spent pretty much all morning crying and my OH keeps looking at me as if I might spontaneously shatter into a million pieces. Who knew this TTC thing would be so bloody emotional? And I'm only on my first proper cycle since the bloody coil!! I need some sort of slap I think!!

Is 9am too early for large portions of cake?!

Pirsy1 · 19/05/2016 08:50

Snowy so sorry about AF. I had my hopes up for you too, you must be so disappointed. Maybe OPKs are worth a go next month if you're not sure about cycle length. Flowers for you.

Prty well Im pleased for you that the doctor was helpful and you have a referral. Hopefully the appointment comes quickly. If there is an ovulation problem then that can be managed. You are getting closer to your BFP.

Lucy Im keeping my fingers crossed for your next test!

We had our letter through yesterday to say we have funding for IVF. Should get an appointment letter soon. I have an appointment today with my work supervisor so think I will tell her.

glitterpoppy · 19/05/2016 08:25

Sorry to hear about AF snowy do you use OPK's?

DH has to drop off his sperm assessment today so that the results will be back in good time for next Friday.. Really hoping it to be better than the last!!

snowy1982 · 19/05/2016 08:02

Am absolutely gutted Prty, as much as I had been telling myself I wasn't pregnant, I couldn't help get my hopes up and now I am worrying about why I was late, should I assume it is a one off and treat the next cycle as my normal 28 days, what should I treat as the start of my next FW.... So many questions now

Lucy1308 · 19/05/2016 07:47

(Glad it's not just me who didn't know which bit of ardaphants name to choose!!)

May test again Sunday, we shall see!

PrtyPsn · 19/05/2016 07:22

Welcome ardaphant (your username messed with my head and didn't know which bit to choose - tell me if you want a name change!) hoping AF returns for you soon x
snowy sorry to hear your stint of knicker watch is over this month :(
lucy I think you need to test again soon, lovely x

Sorry about AF snowy Flowers Cake

No AF here, just horrible cramps- could hardly touch my belly last night they were so horrid. Very weepy this morning for absolutely no reason- actually it's probably lack of sleep. Refusing to waste more money on tests as I'm convinced I'm not pregnant, just a weirdo!!

snowy1982 · 19/05/2016 06:34

Spoke too soon, AF has just arrived. Knickerwatch is officially over for another month Sad

snowy1982 · 19/05/2016 05:32

Still no AF but still a BFN!!!

Lucy1308 · 18/05/2016 22:29

Still absolutely bugger all on the knickerwatch front here either!! Boo!! We shall see what morning brings- fingers crossed for you snowy

snowy1982 · 18/05/2016 21:30

Last knickerwatch update of the night, still nothing. POAS in the morning if still no appearance, although for some reason I have a feeling it won't be necessary. No symptoms of AF but just have a feeling she is going to make an appearance before the morning

Lucy1308 · 18/05/2016 19:13

It's just such a typical AF symptom- achy back with left hip pain only really happens when she's in full flow! Blergh!! Glad it's not just me torturing myself with "BFP after BFN" stories!! Fingers crossed for the morning!! Knickerwatch reveals nothing for a change

snowy1982 · 18/05/2016 18:09

Snap on the lower back pain Lucy although I am known to suffer from back pain from time to time so not reading too much into it either way.

Still nothing here by the way, but still have a general feeling that I am getting my hopes up over nothing. Testing again in the morning if AF still MIA.

Tortured myself this afternoon reading stories of people who didn't get a BFP until 2-3 weeks after AF due

Lucy1308 · 18/05/2016 17:10

Definitely come and join knickerwatch!!

I still have no AF, I feel exactly like I would usually on day 3/4 of her arrival; heavy legs, lower back pain and pain behind my left knee. I feel like I should be on but I'm not!! Considering I'm about 15/16/17DPO (provided my ovulation tests were correct) then surely I should have more than a squinter of a line that I may or may not be imagining?? Anyway I'm now taking a new approach- OPKs every day to see what they tell me!!

theaardaphantcometh · 18/05/2016 16:25

waves

Can I join knicker watch too? Stopped taking cerelle on Sunday and driving myself nuts checking to see if AF has shown up...

Keeping FX for you Lucy and Snowy.

Hoping for a quick referral and easy treatment Prty

snowy1982 · 18/05/2016 14:07

Well i skipped the goats cheese and the pizza really suffered for it Sad. Feeling a little weird now, a little flushed and queasy since eating, i am well aware it is probably all in my imagination.

Really trying not to get my hopes up here, but its hard when I am always so regular. BUT, I keep reminding myself that something like this has happened once before. Last August i was 8 days late, kept testing, kept getting BFN, but convinced myself the tests were wrong, then AF turned up and i was heartbroken. I am convinced it is gong to be the same again.

Think i may join you in the corner Lucy

Lucy1308 · 18/05/2016 12:09

I am also going mildly insane as I can't take the only antihistamines that actually work on me because they are the only ones that aren't recommended during pregnancy. My stupid face is all itchy and runny and I can't do anything about it "just in case" and it's making me more irrational than usual

Unsure about the goats cheese- I would probably just go with it? Although I can't say that I'm applying the same logic to myself!!

I want to go cry/rock in a corner...

snowy1982 · 18/05/2016 11:01

Seriously this is driving me crazy, cannot concentrate in work at all. Also, I am supposed to be going out for pizza for lunch and i LOVE goats cheese on my pizza, now i have read that there are some types of goats cheese that are bad when your pregnant, so should i avoid the goats cheese just in case or should i have the goats cheese as my BFN was pretty clear on Monday (i am definitely going crazy right now)

snowy1982 · 18/05/2016 09:24

Prty sorry about the results, you deserve Flowers and Chocolate. Have yourself a weep or a rage, or even go shopping (always helps me) and then look for the positives. You are getting the referral which is a step in the right direction (even if it is off the path for how you wanted to get there) and you were right and the nurses were wrong Grin

PrtyPsn · 18/05/2016 08:45

Excellent lucy we want pics when it's visible!!!
In other news, I'm the infertility queen :/
GP was lovely and bloody gorgeous to boot, trust me to be talking to him about my broken fango told him all about the issue with 21 day bloods vs my cycle dates and the drama I had with nurses, he totally agreed with me and said they were wrong (ha!) as it turns out I had a 29 day cycle so day 21 bloods were 6dpo... however, my progesterone score was 10, devastatingly low :( he's referred me to fertility clinic so just have to wait for a letter

Sounds like you are winning the pee off Lucy Smile - definitely very promising

Lucy1308 · 18/05/2016 08:35

Greetings!! Just got to work- POAS this morning and there is a definite faint line on the FRER. Not good enough for photos but can definitely see something IRL and it's darker than the previous one I got. I'm hoping this means that I possibly ovulated a lot later than I thought I did according to OPKs and that I am actually pregnant. I will however wait until probably next week now to see if I can obtain a darker line- hopefully it wasn't an evap line!! AF still definitely MIA, lots of creamy discharge but nothing much else going on (unless you count lots of bloaty cramping last night which is probably much more likely to be the curry I had haha!!)

I literally did jump out of bed, have a quick feel to check colour and then grab a FRER!!

Sorry about the BFN prty but it does at least mean that you can give the doctor a starting point!! Good luck!!
