Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

lucy - sorry for the bfn but yes I think it can take several weeks for af after the coil. Glad you had cuddles though.

Lucy1308 · 20/05/2016 20:21

So I did POAS and got BFN. No idea what's going on with me but just had a lovely cuddle with my friend's 4 month old boy who is just absolutely adorable so that helped. Considering how weepy I've been this week I thought it would make it worse but actually he was so adorable he just made me giggle like a little girl haha. Anyway I'm going to wait for AF to arrive- from some research it seems pretty common for it to be like 7+ weeks after coil removal to be "normal" which would make a change so I'm going to chill out and stop crying all the time (I hope).

Have a nice weekend ladies- hope to see lots of BFPs come Monday!!

MrsKittenPie · 20/05/2016 20:17

snowy - glad your family are so supportive and this month will fly by, who knows you could get your BFP before you even have your appointment! Grin

Lucy1308 · 20/05/2016 14:14

I might just pee on a fiver instead- probably be the same result haha!! May do another in the morning to see what it reckons, not holding out any hope til I can actually photograph the line!! Maybe I'll try a digi then I can't misinterpret it!!

snowy1982 · 20/05/2016 11:21

I think its time to POAS again Lucy

Lucy1308 · 20/05/2016 11:08

Well white pants are still white!! Bloody AF isn't even tempted I can tell!! No more cramping today though which is odd!!

I'm glad it's not just me that does things like that snowy- sit there and insist on something and then decide that I'm too impatient and I could be doing something else. Own worst enemy haha!! Can you tell I can't sit still? Good job I don't have an office job haha!!

snowy1982 · 20/05/2016 10:24

Lucy have been known to do the white knicker thing too Grin

So one of the clinics got back to me, I could get an appointment there within the week if I wanted. Now I am so tempted to go for it, but we agreed to wait a month and I don't want to annoy DH by changing that (I insisted we make a decision together so I should really stick to it).

My family are great, they are always really supportive of everything I do, I would be lost without them.

theaardaphantcometh · 20/05/2016 10:00

That's really good snowy, hopefully that will make it easier logistically at least.

LOL at the white pants; I wish I'd thought of that! FX for Sunday

Lucy1308 · 20/05/2016 09:14

May test again Sunday. Unsure!! Sounds promising about the private clinics snowy- it's always good to be prepared, forewarned is forearmed and all that jazz!! So pleased you have supportive family, have read too many stories on here where people didn't and it just makes me sad for them!!

Knickerwatch is getting boring now, worn white pants today just to tempt her if she's coming!! Beginning to think it's maybe just a weird coil withdrawal thing though, not a BFP, however, positivity and all that!! Fingers crossed for all other knicker watchers!!

snowy1982 · 20/05/2016 09:14

There are 2 within roughly half an hour to 40 mins drive from me (although they are only about 10-15 mins away from my work) so they are pretty handy

theaardaphantcometh · 20/05/2016 08:58

Morning!

Still nothing on knickerwatch here - but cried at a song on the radio today, so good sign?!

Keeping FX for you Lucy!

Sorry you are having a rough one snowy Flowers Great that you have started to get all the information you need for the clinics, are they nearby or will you have to travel for them?

snowy1982 · 20/05/2016 08:42

Sounding more and more promising Lucy, any plans to POAS again?

I am missing knickerwatch, AF is really kicking my arse, really heavy (clotty) and painful whereas normally I would have quite a light flow with minimal pains. Back pain is still really bad and struggling to get a good nights sleep Sad

On the positive side I have emailed some private clinics to get some information (I know DH and I agreed to wait one more cycle but it's doesn't hurt to be prepared) and had a chat with my mum about it last night and the offer of help is still on the table

Lucy1308 · 20/05/2016 07:56

Still nothing on the knickerwatch front!! Just checking in as I get started at work, how are we all today??

snowy1982 · 20/05/2016 06:20

That's good Kitten

MrsKittenPie · 19/05/2016 21:53

snowy - it's an increase in cm which I thought meant ovulation but it's kind of tailed off later on today so hopefully all is not lost and that's a good plan for tomorrow- should do the trick Grin

snowy1982 · 19/05/2016 13:34

What sort of signs? You could still be ok time wise, it is friday tomorrow so you could welcome him back wearing a smile and nothing else, that would def get him in the mood for DTD and then you are still ok for ovulation

MrsKittenPie · 19/05/2016 13:30

snowy - yes definitely fingers crossed.
I'm not sure about the clotting, I know sometimes af is different to other months, maybe it's just that?
I'm very frustrated- getting signs of ovulation but am away from dh til Friday, it's early in the cycle for my ovulation and typical I can't do anything about it, the timing of getting back on Friday would normally have meant good timing for dtd but my stupid body decides to randomly ovulate early this month just to piss me off and waste another month, as if it wasn't all bad enough

snowy1982 · 19/05/2016 13:17

Kitten surely we will get there soon (FX'd)

Ladies, quite a lot of clotting in AF today, not something I normally experience, anyone any idea what would cause this?

MrsKittenPie · 19/05/2016 12:56

I think that's a good decision snowy . I would if I could too. I know, you would think the disappointment would be more manageable but I'm the same - this is 24 and it gets worse every month

snowy1982 · 19/05/2016 11:16

Am glad now that DH and i have made the decision to have 1 more cycle au naturale and then go private - i am sick of going through this every month now. You would think i'd be used to the disappointment 19 cycles in but it just gets worse.

Yes Kitten retail therapy is very good even though i cant really afford it at the minute

MrsKittenPie · 19/05/2016 11:02

prty - I'm sorry it wasn't good news but you must take it as positive that you are being referred and will get the help you need which means you will get your BFP - it's a step forward towards it.
snowy - am gutted for you, I've been through exactly the same and it's devastating. Retail therapy always good Smile
Hi ard !
I'm a big Liverpool fan too so was totally gutted last night too Sad

Good news about IVF funding pirsy

Lucy1308 · 19/05/2016 10:59

Oh no snowy I didn't mean you'd made me worry- I was already doing that before so don't worry!! I'm a flat out overthinker haha!!

snowy1982 · 19/05/2016 09:47

Lucy didn't mean to make you worry with the 18 months bit, you are only 1 cycle in, its far too early to be worrying about that

theaardaphantcometh · 19/05/2016 09:25

So sorry AF has showed snowy CakeFlowers

Ha! Sorry about the ridiculous username Prty and Lucy - ard will do Smile

and it's never too early for cake...

Lucy1308 · 19/05/2016 09:24

I'm glad it's not just me who goes out to buy all those things and is stood there thinking "God everyone knows what I'm using these for and they're all thinking poor her- she can't just shag and have a baby" which is obviously totally ridiculous but hell- I'm irrational even when I'm not so what's one more addition to it all?!

OH tried to initiate sex last night and I just told him to get off as my belly hurt and then cried. I think I maybe have some making up to do, poor bloke!! The whole "imagine what it will be like if it gets to 18months" is what is really bothering me I think. It's the not knowing and the what ifs of it all that I'm spending way too much time thinking about- what if I'm infertile, what if I have something wrong with me, what if I do get pregnant but miscarry.... And so on!! Pathological over thinker right here!!

I know I say they have the easy bit but I'm not sure about that any more- at least I know I'm not blaming him, he has no idea that I'm not and (his personality trait here) tells himself that it must be all his fault!!

Anyway I've slapped myself now I've been at work a while and seem to be managing a bit better- although I just wiped and got weird EWCM which is bizarre. I'm sure creamy will be back before I know it!
