Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here because you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2531973-Christmas-is-here-but-its-not-the-turkey-thats-getting-basted-with-symptoms-to-spot-and-festive-cheer-Prty-and-the-gang-are-getting-BFPS-this-year?pg=39&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all of my lovelies xx

Sorry about the BFN Karry, house plans sound like a great distraction.

Got to love a good spa day Glitter, I had more reflexology last night, it was so relaxing (although apparently I have a build up of fluid on my ankles and a dehydrated urinary tract) but then I went home and undid all the relaxation by watching Game of Thrones, I was distraught by the time I went to bed.

Anyone heard from Prty lately?

Pirsy1 · 24/05/2016 08:11

Karry sorry about the BFN. Kitchen and bathroom shopping sounds fun though! We are also renovating our new house. Expecting the builders to start end of June.

Poppy pleased you had a good spa day and that talking to your sister was helpful! Good luck for your appointment this week.

I am waiting for AF to show. Should be this week. If no AF and not pregnant then Im out as we would have missed when I ovulated!

glitterpoppy · 24/05/2016 07:42

Sorry for the BFN karry

Thanks ladies, loved it. It was so relaxing and just had the best day. Spoke to my sister about everything and just felt better having someone (other than my DH) to talk to.

MrsKittenPie · 24/05/2016 07:31

glitter - hope the spa day was good, I love spa days Smile
karry - sorry for the BFN but that sounds like a good distraction- have fun x

karryk · 24/05/2016 07:20

Reporting in with a bfn (meh)

Going to throw myself into plans for our new house - buying a kitchen and bathroom this weekend so that will keep me distracted :)

Spa day sounds fab! I haven't been to one in ages.

Wish you all a lovely week x

Lucy1308 · 23/05/2016 09:15

I'm so confused it's ridiculous. But I'm just going to keep doing OPKs and see what they reckon, hopefully this one was the real deal and last time was just a practice haha!!

Spa day sounds lovely glitter, I love a good chance to chill out and feel all relaxed and floppy! I have myself a mini spa evening the other night when I was feeling crap and think it really helped to calm me down and feel better.

My OH also hates the idea of me discussing this with anyone- don't think he realises that the pressure to perform doesn't come from them, it's all in my head!! Good job I've got you lot to moan at otherwise poor OH would seriously get it in the neck!!

snowy1982 · 23/05/2016 08:43

Glitter no, they just don't quite get it unfortunately. My DH is quite a private person and hates the idea of me discussing these things with people (although he was quick to text his brother about his great SA results) but I couldn't do without my mum and BF to talk to about this, and you lovely ladies as well. It's better for him that I talk to someone else anyone, if I didn't he'd have all my crazy and then we'd both be stressing constantly

glitterpoppy · 23/05/2016 07:56

Not sure lucy but looks like it on the pics, our bodies are so confusing!!

No news for me at the moment. DH did his SA on Thursday so just waiting for our appointment Friday now to discuss all.

Got a spa day today with my sister, so looking forward to a massage and chill. May talk to her about everything as at the minute nobody really knows apart from a couple of ladies at work (who I needed to tell as I was having lots of doctors appointments) and one friend. The friend isn't really there for me though so feel if I talk to my sister it may help get it all off my mind. As good as my DH is, he doesn't understand sometimes!

Lucy1308 · 23/05/2016 07:33

No bleeding at all since the last surge. Very strange!! We shall see what happens!!

karryk you can come do mine next if you like? Fingers crossed for your BFP!!

karryk · 23/05/2016 07:19

Hello everyone :) just dropping in. Due to test tomorrow..it's a bit earlier than I'd like but due to the steroid programme I'm on I have to do it 10dpo or thereabouts! No real symptoms so I'm not getting my hopes up but I'll report back :)

I distracted myself by cleaning windows yesterday. If nothing else I'll have a very clean house!

snowy1982 · 23/05/2016 06:56

Can't help much with this Lucy, I don't know if it's possible or not, definitely looks like there is from you picks? Have you had any bleeding at all since the last surge?

Lucy1308 · 22/05/2016 21:19

pirsy I bloody hate stripping wallpaper- makes me properly mad that it won't all just come off nicely!!

snowy I'm annoyed for you that AF is messing you about- it's one thing for her to turn up and quite another that she decides things aren't good enough for her so needs to bigger about!! CakeFlowers

In other news I have stopped feeling like hell and have decided to do OPKs. Find attached today's offerings- top pair are this morning and bottom pair this evening. I do have some dull right sided pain but that could just be too much Sunday dinner and a glass or two of wine talking!! Is it even possible to have a second LH surge without a period between the two? Maybe the first one didn't manage ovulation?! Anyway please feel free to muse...

snowy1982 · 22/05/2016 09:43

I know Pirsy, have just got so used to mine being a certain way all the time, it makes me rethink what I thought I knew about my cycles.

Pirsy1 · 22/05/2016 09:31

Snowy I think sometimes they are just a bit different - my AF was heavier than usual for me last month and lasted longer too.

Sometimes I get a bit of spotting a couple of months before AF. The first few times it happened I comvinced myself it was implantation Kitten, now I know better!

I spent my whole day yesterday stripping wallpaper. A whole day to do one room. Im going back for round 2 today Angry

snowy1982 · 21/05/2016 19:05

Am just so used to my cycles being a certain way, don't like it when the change as it makes me worry there is something more sinister going on (I'm am a none for being a worrier)

MrsKittenPie · 21/05/2016 18:21

snowy - how rubbish, af does mess with us sometimes - I went through a time last year of about 3 months where af was really light instead of my usual heavy and each time I thought it was implantation- stupid af and stupid bodies

snowy1982 · 21/05/2016 15:30

So AF is really determined to mess with my head this month. 4 days late and instead of my normal 5 days of light to medium flow, I had 1 day of really heavy and painful, 1 day of light and then today just a tiny bit of spotting Angry

Pirsy1 · 21/05/2016 10:02

Snowy that sounds brill! Yes I explained it to him, all the hormones etc and how much harder it will be than just DTD a few times over FW. I guess they just have to provide a sample though!

MrsKittenPie · 21/05/2016 09:49

snowy - that's good about the clinic being that quick. If we had the opportunity moneywise and dh was on board with tests etc then I'd do ivf too like a shot.
pirsy - I know, they've got no idea about pressure!
Both your holidays sound amazing - I'm jealous!

snowy1982 · 21/05/2016 08:47

Oh lovely Pirsy, we are going to Paris, then down to Toulous for a wedding, then hiring a car and driving along the south coast down to Nice, so excited.

Ha, just waiting for IVF, does he not realise that with all the drugs etc IVF is even crazier than TTC unaided. Poor DH's, they really are clueless

Pirsy1 · 21/05/2016 08:32

Kitten I totally sympathise. These DHs are hard to manage. Im still not sure what the best approach is. This month my DH said 'cant we just wait for IVF now' ... I was so shocked and was like 'if you think Im crazy now, wait til we're doing IVF'. Seriously all they need to do is DTD its not too much to ask!!

Snowy we are going to Provence for a week. Im counting down now! XX

snowy1982 · 21/05/2016 08:18

Kitten fingers crossed that will happen. One of the clinics came back to me, they would be able to see us within a week if we want so that's good. Men and their 'feeling pressure', as if they can even comprehend the pressure we all feel.

Lucy sorry about BFN, hate how complicated having been on BC can make things.

Pirsy I am keeping my fingers crossed for you this week. You going anywhere nice in June? I can't wait for my holiday in July Smile

MrsKittenPie · 20/05/2016 23:09

Keeping fingers crossed for you next week pirsy - it's good you've got a holiday to look forward to as well

MrsKittenPie · 20/05/2016 23:08

Hi pirsy - yes reunited and dtd done Grin, did an opk today too, even though I promised myself I was going to be relaxed. The line was quite dark but not a positive so I've either missed the surge or it's not yet happened. We will see - I have no doubt af will arrive as normal either way. Can you believe dh said he felt pressured as he knew I was pouncing on him because it was that time??!!! I didn't mention ovulation or anything - honestly he is so infuriating at times! It's not much to ask from him - dtd- surely?! I don't share any of my ttc obsession with him at all as I know it would put him right off

Pirsy1 · 20/05/2016 20:50

Just catching up!

Sorry about the BFN Lucy. Yes maybe just taking a little while for things to settle post coil removal. Dont worry.

Snowy I think you are right to go for a private appointment. Sometimes you just cant wait any longer.

Kitten have you been reunited with your DH today?

I think AF is due next week. Ive got no expectations of a BFP this month. We're going on holiday in June so looking forward to that.
