  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.
  4. This thread is intended for support - both giving and receiving. If someone helps you then please be kind and return that to another TTCer.

I feel ya TMI we DTD for the first time at 14 weeks - only cos I was bloody desperate! - and I was totally on edge and panicking afterwards. I'm not saying the worries are normal but it's how I felt too and totally share your concerns, lovely x

Skipper, I gave up testing for ovulation about 7 months ago....the only thing I done differently was I was away on holiday, I was staying with my in laws and was completely stress free for three weeks, it really helped me relax (coupled with a lot of dtd) - it was constantly in my prayers, and my faith is very important to me so I see this as a little miracle! I wasn't expecting it at all....

Prty, I keep refusing to dtd just in case/don't wanna risk it,my first mid wife appointment is 4th, so will have to sit tight over Christmas!

TMI I thought knicker-watch was bad in the last part of the TWW - it was all I did for the first 12 weeks of my pregnancy (some very, very minor brownish discharge for a few hours around week 5 sent me into a frenzy and even more obseessed!!) the scan definitely helps and it'll be here before you know it, lovely x

It happened, I'm not entirely sure when but it happened I couldn't believe it, I have done about three tests, and I'm absolutely petrified, dh is over the moon and very emotional, Thank God - I was over a week late and had very sore but with my irregular cycle and random painful breasts I didn't really think much of it... everyone I really hope it comes for you soon but I suppose just don't give be up hope!! It will happen :)

Hi Chell I'm currently about 13 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Sore boobs are the first pregnancy symptom I get (never get it as PMS) and weirdly enough, when my period would be due I still get that early warning stomach churning and turn into a total moody bitch! Could just be coincidence though...
Let us know how your symptoms get on and when you POAS!
TMI that's so frustrating with the bloods! I know it's been a really long time fir you but keep looking forward to Feb, lovely x

Hi Ladies!

I'm 27 and ttc #1 almost at the end of 2ww on cycle 7.

I have the sorest boobs on earth. I normally get a bit tender just before AF but never to this extent - was slightly getting my hopes up that this is the month when PMS irrational moody brain kicked in about an hour ago and now can't sleep.

Can you/do you still get pyscho PMS brain in early pregnancy or are the mammories just playing tricks on me??

Don't want to unnecessarily POAS as I still have 3 days till AF is due, any and all advice is welcome!

Nah I'm not getting flustered over it anymore. My Doctor advised that until my referral came through, to just do away with the opks and temping and "silly diets" and just enjoy Christmas and the New Year. So that's what I'm doing. It is weird not knowing when I'm ovulating but I feel much more chilled out than I thought I'd be.

Is this all through the NHS TMI? Seems pretty unorganised to me. It's awful that its taken you this long to get anywhere, I almost wonder why they bother to do all those preliminary tests with the GP only to refer you and subject you to them all again.

They will get to the dye process, they just need to work Their way through the process...try to let it not take over your life...(easier said than done) well my journey to federal has been a bit of a nightmare, I hit the one year mark in April so was refereed for blood test, to ehich I was told everything's my was fine, two months later I went back for something unrelated and was told actually they are a few anomalies and I should do the tests again, these results were invalid for some reason....but I received my referral and told to redo test as it had been 7 months since my last test but I didn't get my period so the tests were invalidated again so hence he journey of test number 4! The consultant has said I will probably be given clomid after my Feb consultation, almost a year after I went to the doctors with my concerns 😞

Welcome skipper your test results sound really good but I totally understand the frustration of nothing happening.

The third time! Wow, is that just to confirm your results? Has your GP advised whether you can have Clomid or some other drug to encourage ovulation once they are sure?

Yep I'm in the 20% who have an unknown issue. I have suspiscions I have endo in my Fallopian tubes (my mother had it) but they make you jump through all the hoops before investigating that. A due flush of my tubes would probably clear it enough to conceive. have been looking at google way too much

We are doing The house we just purchased up, so managing the pennies is our pass time ATM! Also have a lot of weddings this year (I keep wishfully thinking I will b preggers so my outfits will not fit at the time!) I have my follow up apologies nonentity in February also so we can work through it together! My bloods are not entirely okay, I think I'm not ovulating but no one has sat down to explain things properly ....waiting to give my day 4 bloods (for the third time) which will probably be at some point this week... so if all is well then is yours unexplained?

The results were all clear. Hormone levels fine, ultrasound was clear (even ovaries which I found interesting as I had an exploding cyst cycle before last), swabs clear and my OH has really great sperm.

I've been referred but it will take until end of February at the earliest to hear back from the clinic.

What are you doing to pass the time? I guess Christmas is a bit of a distraction. I'm getting my bathroom repaired too.

Sure thing skipper, welcome :) best of luck with your results! Waiting times are a real pain and defo worth factoring in, they do drive you crazy, Everyone has their Coping methods to stop us going insane!

Can I join you girls on here? I've been lurking like a creep for quite a few days now...

A small introduction - 29 years old, been trying for #1 for 15 months and I've just finished my first tests, going to get results on Friday and see if I can be put forward for a referral.

I naively didn't even think about waiting lists or anything like that so it was interesting but disheartening to read your posts TMI.

I didn't take anything, my fertility referral never really got moving. My dating scan did show a fibroid though... sonographer said it was only small and won't cause any issues but obviously it can be linked to infertility. She had a quick look at my ovaries and said it looked like I'd been ovulating... Never give up hope and don't stop trying, it will happen xx

I'm pretty much exactly as you described Prty, did you ever take any ovulating drugs? well with your news it gives me hope :) so very pleased for you seems an age ago I begun stalking everyone on these threads! Please do keep us posted on progress xx
