Back to SQUARE ONE CD1! Anyone want to spend April with me?!

So AF got me this afternoon!! Trying not to get down in the dumps (although I just watched 'one born every minute' on catch-up and sobbed!)
Dusting myself off and hoping for better luck in April! A few stats:
Age-33
TTC-5th cycle
DC-1 DS (3.5 years old)
Anyone else at the start of their cycle and trying something new in the hope of a more successful month?!

Tee, The sperm will have been protected already inside so you should be fine. Make sure u rest plenty so you don't use up too much energy.

Have a strange feeling cystitis is kicking in today for me so I'm downing lots of water and cranberry juice. It can't come today as I need to dtd! My CM (tmi) is not enough as still early in cycle so think that's the cause.

I keep seeing lovely prams about..Getting so envious... Hmm

I feel terrible today, I think it must be a bug as DH just called saying he's starting to feel dodgy. I'm SOOOO gutted. I know technically we DTD enough, but now I just feel like this bug will prevent things anything that might have been progressing along nicely. It literally kicked in on ovulation day or very shortly after. Argh!!!!

It's going to be a long two-week-wait 😂, and so many symptoms so early!!!
I can imagine what the 9months of pregnancy will be like.

Ooh I thought of another one. Yesterday I felt like I could smell things more vividly. Smelly people on my commute, my clothes detergent, cooking smells from my neighbours... Will see if this continues today.

Sucha am abt 3-4dpo windy too. Yesterday I would have sworn I felt nausea.

I desperate need to go shopping for baby clothes ((someone slap me hard))

Jem I had a horrible, vivid nightmare too and couldn't sleep around 4 for about an hour. I did look at my phone at that time and loved that I was on a new CD on ovia.Blush

In that case Jod, if I were in your shoes (not that I ever have 14 dpo), I would test this morning.... because technically today is probably when one would expect AF to show up!

I don't remember my boobs being this sore with my boys. I sway between wanting to know and being afraid it will be a negative. If the line isn't stronger then I know there's something wrong and I would rather not know that til AF shows. So I think I'm going to wait till Thursday to test as i prefer ignorant bliss over Negative!

Jod, I'm very impatient so would probably spend a fortune and test every day!! Think of it like this... If u test tomorrow it might still be a faint line, and you will prob want to test again in another few day. So it's whether u have the spare tests or just wait for the biggest darkest BFP ever in a few days?! Confused

Tee, hope u feel better. Some ovulation pains can be very painful. Or maybe it's a bug/virus thing.

I find my DH never wants it on the right day. Typical eh! Frustrating too.

My boobs are full on heavy tingling! Wore a soft sports bra all day.

PhysicsKate today is 14 DPO! I'm sure I ovulated on 28th and I had what I believe was implantation spotting and cramping on the 2nd April. That's why I really think the tests should be showing up strong by now? Especially with all my symptoms too.

You're doing so well waiting Jod, I would be testing everyday even though I know my advice would be to wait you never take your own!

Have to ask yourself whether you will feel better knowing or if it isn't darker whether you will feel worse? I always feel better knowing. I can't stand the wondering. But people are different!

It's like they're taking it in turns to tingle Confused very slight but I never get this! Unless I'm more tuned in this cycle or something! FMU Thursday seems best Jod.

Generally, I think implantation is 7-10 days after Ov... so perhaps a bit early Jem. (Hence why a short LP is a bad thing...).

Jod, obviously it's your choice, but I think I would try to wait till AF would actually be 'due' - so probably 14 days after Ov.
