They are boots own brand. I would order from Amazon but postage to where I live is always a killer.
The instructions do say the line needs to be as dark as the Control line to be considered a positive. I'm going to keep testing with these and see what happens. It's so bloody confusing for me at the minute. I think that line does look quite strong doesn't it?! Which i wouldn't expect at this stage?

Jod some people do two a day! Be careful not to drink too much in the 2-3 hours leading up to the test! Diluted urine could give an inaccurate reading I think!! I only did from CD 11 to 13 this month as was negative by CD 13, surge detected on cd 12. I only buy the cheapie strips though, no experience of actual tests! I would do them daily until they are as dark if not darker than the control line.
I've never had ovulation spotting footprints! But I'd been on the pill long term too! I'd love a BFP!! Not testing till after AF due, which is Saturday! Unless I get my hands on some FRERs!

It can still show a line because lh can be present without ovulation imminent that's why they usually say it has to be as dark as it but like footprints said, check what it says on the instructions as it may be different for your test

If you want to do it like that you can do them daily. They don't look like cheap ones though? I bought a bag of 50 for about £3 so I didn't mind using them a lot! I still have some leftover though.

I didn't use them everyday as I had an idea of when I would be ovulating so just used them around that time.
I know it's different for you at the moment though so yes you could do that if that's what you wanted. Try not to do them after 8pm. I found them a bit inaccurate at night sometimes as urine is more diluted.

Jod- which brand are they. Some you only get two lines if a positive? The ones I use cheapy Amazon ones they get darker the higher the surge.

Maybe the theory doesn't work then?

Is it a case that is should have no line and then the line gets stronger the closer to OV you get?

radders do I just keep doing these daily then to see if they get darker?

Jod I would say that's a negative test as in no lh surge, if they work like the strips, as the line has to be as dark as the control line

Did my first ever ovulation test today. What does this mean lol! Clueless!

Footprints I did try an opk yesterday and the day before and they had no line on whatssoever!
I will try one tomorrow morning with FMU for you and report back...

I haven't got any FRER left now so will have to try supermarket tomorrow morning. Really hope it says positive this time! If it doesn't I will probably end up going to buy more FRER.

We went to buy a digital yesterday but when we were looking at them and discussing we decided against because two lines tells you exactly the same thing as a word. I know how many weeks I am too so it's not like I need it to tell me. So no I'm not going to waste the £12 on it. I can get 8 normal tests for that hehe I understand why people would want to see that though. Suppose it makes it more real. I'm still worried it will say not pregnant at the minute.

So who's the next to test? Is it suchajem?

Had one incident of light brown spotting mixed with EWCM when I went to toilet today at lunchtime nothing since.
Slight panic that I was about to get AF as had cramps shortly before and after. After consulting google it appears to be ovulation spotting! Never had before (although was on pill for longtime I prob never noticed before.

Anyone else get this?

Jod- have u tried opk today? As some people had tried these when pregnant and they give a positive.

Radders- if u have an opk maybe u could try it too? Worth knowing!! :)

Your test has really darkened radders... Will you do a digital? You're right about the early scan, I think it's a great idea. They aren't that expensive, for the peace of mind that they can bring! We'd all love to be joining you , really hope we will!

Yea you can get private early scans for £50 or something so we are going to have one.. Just because!

It's really not sunk in to be honest. It's still so early I'm trying not to get too excited. I still haven't missed my period yet either.
My CM is finally starting to go thick and creamy but only from last night/today

So frustrating Jod!! CD 21 here.. Tmi but a lot of CM. Weird lower pains too! However I would not have paid any attention to these things 2 months ago so nothing major! No more lightening vagina for me either 😂
Jem I'm moving too! Painful!!!! I don't know where any of my things are, so much energy needed but it's a great distraction!
I've been in such a great mood these last few days, ovia suggested it could be an early symptom for me 😂😂

Nope Still no AF. I think when I wiped earlier there was a small brown bit on the paper, very small and that was once today only

Might just do an IC daily and an ovulation test too.

Opks - you should aim for middle of the day. I try and test midday and again at 4/5.

I am going to wait until Wednesday I think. DH goes to work Thursday to Saturday, so want to test when he's here.

When do you do the ovulation tests? Any time of day?

Nimisha according to my calendar it should be from 30th but gonna do my OPK's too to try & pin it down, looking into BBT measuring too

I caved and bought some cheap tests and ovulation tests too! I have never use ovulation tests before

Jod it's so annoying waiting for something to happen. Fingers crossed you get an answer soon.

Footprints I would say you could ovulate any time around now so you've already got a good chance but keep going with the dtd and there will hopefully be loads of little swimmers ready when that egg pops out. Are you temping? You should get an idea from when your temperature starts to rise of when ovulation actually happened.

Radders what kind of scan is that? A private one?

No spotting for me today so far (Yey) but my temp is still up so I think I've missed the boat this month. No dtd at all in the fw. Trying to be upbeat, at least it means a short cycle so I won't have to wait to long to try again. Hopefully my luteal phase will be a bit longer this month as I've been taking vitamin b.
