Back to SQUARE ONE CD1! Anyone want to spend April with me?!

So AF got me this afternoon!! Trying not to get down in the dumps (although I just watched 'one born every minute' on catch-up and sobbed!)
Dusting myself off and hoping for better luck in April! A few stats:
Age-33
TTC-5th cycle
DC-1 DS (3.5 years old)
Anyone else at the start of their cycle and trying something new in the hope of a more successful month?!

Great news Jod! Parney's right, surge peaks before ovulation, so when you see the positives is the best time to get busy, especially if accompanied by EWCM!! Happy humping!!
Parney, nothing really to report today, nipples a little sensitive, but I had to check that. It wasn't a feeling that jumped out to me!
Please please stay away AF!! So want this to be the month!! xx

You may ovulate tomorrow!?! Egg should live for 24 hours so dtd today to have sperm there and waiting! Then tomorrow and day after! Excellent news Jod, so glad you were doing OPks!

Guys judging by the massive amount of EWC and the strong positives 3 times today I think I'm actually going to ovulate! If I DTD next three days that should cover me right? I hope I haven't missed it now!! Ovulation happens after the strong OPK's right? Reassure me....

Yea I'll buy one tomorrow morning, would wait until Sunday but my weekend plans will need to drastically change if I've a BFP. Having Wine for the first time in over a month.
No symptoms really, nipple sensitivity and cramping! My CM never changes, just amount varies Hmm I still have it. Have you anything to report today Tee? Interesting about your difference experiences with pg!

You're not out yet Parney! The cramps could be a good thing for you. It's so horrible when AF is due and you start to get that sinking feeling, running to the loo every 5 minutes to check. FX it stays away! I stopped temping every day, only do it for a week around ovulation so I catch the spike. I used to hate seeing my temps slowly drop off as AF approached! DH remembers my skin being red hot with DH, but then again didn't notice that when pg with bean that ended in mc. I guess every pg is different, you just don't know until the witch appears!!
Are you still going to test with a FRER tomorrow?? xx

Spoke too soon! Horrible cramping sensations back! I'll be afraid to go to bed tonight as it feels like AF will be there to say hi tomorrow! I wish I'd been temping tee, Dh keeps telling me I'm very hot in bed! 😂😂 seriously, I have been feeling very warm though!

But then the month I got lots of signs ended up with a BFN, so I'm hoping if I slip under the radar on the cramps front, I could be good for a BFP! Also looking out for my skin feeling hot, as I definitely remember that with my DS. Slightly aware of heavy/tender boobs, but that could be a sign of AF too, so won't get too carried away.

Rajca the crampons are so funny!!! Exactly what I've been feeling these last few days. I was in agony last night in bed, but seem better today. Seems as though they come in the evening? Unless that's when I wind down and only notice them..
Hi January! I'm on cycle 3 post pill! Maybe we'll have similar experiences, welcome. I find opks incredibly useful for predicting when AF due.

newhair yes using Ovia but Ive not put much information in it yet, once I start using the OPKs Im sure it will tell me exactly when I will get pregnantGrin

footprints like you said I think my body might have tried a few times to ovulate, it certainly felt like that, I wonder if thats because I was on the pill?

Oh well Ill await my period on Wednesday and then start monitoring like crazy after that. Hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend.

Mimi no, not really celebrating. We're doing some work on our house so DH will be working all weekend whilst I entertain DS. Planning to tell our parents this weekend, so that'll be nice. How are you feeling today?

Parney those cramps could be BFP. The symptoms are so similar.

Welcome January. My cycles seem to have settled at 31 days since coming off the pill, so my OV day was day 17. Are you tracking with an app?

Sorry, someone asked if we just DTD once. We did it more than that over the whole month but only once during my fertile few days. I ovulated the day after we DTD so it must have been then (we DTD 5 days earlier but I was abroad in-between so definitely no action as DH was at home holding the fort). When we conceived DS we DTD every other day during my fertile period but I am pretty convinced which day we hit the jackpot. It was the day before I ovulated.

Sorry if I have missed anyone, despite being on my lunch break I keep on getting interrupted. Wishing you all a lovely weekend.

CD 24 of 28 I think but not long off the pill so its early days.

Totally sure I am not pregnant this time so back to square one soon! Going to start OPKs next time as I have no idea when I ovulated, could have been CD11 or maybe not until CD17. Think I need a bit more of an idea for my own sanity!

Jod- not sure if the bleed I had midcycle cd16 was AF as was only one day of full bleeding. Too much for spotting. The AF before cd 1 was def AF! Mega cramps, aching boobs etc.. Headache the works. No doubt about that. It's all bizarre. Can only just dtd more this weekend and sit tight. Googled it.. And says if LH surges egg tries to release but can't it will naturally try again a few days after. So it is possible. Just hope I don't bleed again.

So my plan is to only test 2 weeks from tomorrow which will be from this ovulation time.

Racja you will get darker line if ovulating. See my pic earlier. Hope u do so soon we can do our countdown together with nim too.

I fancy a glass of wine already sucha and a big juicy steak with chips! Confusedcan only admit it to you girls as I'm supposed to b fit and healthy to my clients!

Been trying to not do too much since ttc as I want my body to be not too exhausted.

This is today's opk! Crazy??!
I don't think my DH can take anymore! I didn't tell him this time. He text me earlier to ask what on earth have I been taking?! Lol

I'm bit worried to what has happened? But can only think my body is trying to ovulate and then not. Oh well.. I guess if this is ovulation then I will be a week late for my AF.

Back to SQUARE ONE CD1! Anyone want to spend April with me?!

Ccd3Starmorning ladies. The weirdest thing happened. Had af only one day. Full flow then it stopped. Tbh I don't understand how my crazy body is behaving.

jod that opk has me convinced it's a bfp. One more hpt then bloods when u visit doc incase u don't hve answer by then.

tee it's going to be a long weekend with the temptation of poas. Fx af stays far away. Any exciting symptoms?
