(Still) ttc#2 continued

Black cherries I went to see the dr after 12 months and was told since there was nothing wrong with hubbys sperm count, I was getting periods and I was young and have a child it would happen eventually. I was so angry. But I tried multi vitamin with iron and a fish oil and fell that cycle.

Have everything crossed for both of you!!

Still nothing happening here. Went to doctors and they basically said they can't do anything until it's been a year of ttc. we are doing everything right but nothing working! my cycle has definitely taken a while to settle down though, I wish I'd known it could take 6-9 months to leave your system from after you come off the pill

We're taking a break from TTC for a bit cause we've booked a holiday for June and I obviously couldn't be heavily pregnant when we go. Heartbroken but realistically we're only missing one cycle due to my messed up hormones. By which time I'll be able to go to the docs cause it'll have been a year since my coil was removed.
I wish everyone all the very best for the next few months with bumps and sending baby dust to the few remaining xx

Thanks #myfriends!! I actually had scan last Monday but had awful week at work (working until midnight 3 nights) and fell down stairs on the boat home from France and battered my left leg and arm good and proper so been on crutches too. I'm having another girl and all looks well, heard her heartbeat on Tuesday and really relaxed after that, oh and have bump too!! Pulled, try not to fret about what may be (pot kettle I know) but being aware of possible pnd is a good start, you'll know and get treatment early if you need it!!

Hope everyone else is doing ok and enjoying the bank holiday?!

gosh typed a long post and it's vanished

quick update for me - 33 weeks now against all odds. will be having a c section just waiting on date. pains have made me housebound, very low and depressed so im fearful of having PND again like last time

Jenni - pls don't be upset i didn't feel baby movements till 28 weeks (i have anterior placenta plus overweight). as long as scan was fine all should be ok x

Hugs Jenni.fingers crossed it's all in your head and all is well Monday. It is difficult to feel when it's early on but if you reach orgasm lying down ,you could feel smthng hard.keep us updated

Hey #myfriends, I hope everyone is doing ok and Kellz particularly that your blood pressure is behaving!! I'm in France on holiday atm but I have a private scan booked next Monday and I really and truly can't shake the feeling that l'il blip is gone . Everything was fine and low risk at 12 week scan but I can't feel anything (I'm very overweight too, which doesn't help), I should surely be able to feel something that's the size of a pomegranate by now? I'm praying every second of every day that I'm wrong and that all is well but it's really taking the enjoyment out of the holiday, which I hate. I keep trying to look at my tattoo that says "Omnia Causa Fiunt" (everything happens for a reason) but all I want to do is curl up and cry. I can't really tell DH what I'm feeling as he's obviously still grieving from the loss of his mum so suddenly in May and he even picked a bed time bear out for l'il blip last week so he's excited and I don't want to put a downer on him, so I hope it's ok that I've vented on here.xx

Blood pressure already rising, just waiting for pre eclampsia, was in hospital on Tuesday night. Back to work for one day tomorrow then on holiday xx

not gotten too far with the temping, I sort of half-wake-up really early then eventually think 'I should probably take my temp' but by then I've semi-consciously wriggled around a lot and probably too awake!

Not expecting much this month :(

mimiJust after the sickness it has come abck, was really ill saturday and been feeling off the last few days.

Had my scan today though and im now due the 4th feb instead of the 5th

I've kinda got that "if it happens it happens" feeling now too, although we obviously all want it to happen!
I got a +ve OPK yesterday which is good news! Bad news is I'm away minus DH Tues-Thurs so hopefully I actually ov. on Sunday or Monday so we don't miss it lol. Lost count of my CD.... somewhere like 37??
cherries I'm a fan of temping so hopefully you'll find it helpful too.

cherries in the end i only temped and nothing else!! i actually enjoyed it I wanted a 3 year age gap but ill have a 4 year one due to ttc for longer than planned, i had surgery while TTC which didnt help my case! Good luck

thanks everyone. have been giving myself a hard time not trying sooner but remembered I'd had to get some keyhole surgery out of the way first and it all takes time! getting a thermometer to start charting...

Sorry about AF mimi, but I'm glad you got help from the docs. I'm thinking I need some extra help too but they'll probably tell me I need to to weight first... half a stone down now!
Welcome cherries, my age gap is well and truly out the window too, in my head no.2 would be here now but here we are 7 months into TTC. FX you won't be long.
I'm still waiting for ov here. Feel rough as toast but a pg. test was negative on Monday.

Cockles - well done for getting test done urself ! I can't believe midwife wouldn't take ur blood , ur carrying twins u would say it was highly likely u could b anaemic bcoz u have two babies pinching ur iron ! I was anaemic at the end of my pregnancy bcoz I was having a big boy ! Lol hope u get to the bottom of it soon ( rubbish thing about iron supplement last tho I'd extra constipation !) x

Hey black , hope u catch soon , it is hard when u give urself a deadline for age gap between kids ! I thought we would concieve easy aswell and felt we should have started sooner but the Annoying thing about TTC is we just don't know and can't control any of it I wish u luck that it happens soon try not to stress and enjoy it xx
