(Still) ttc#2 continued

Oh FFS! I broke and tested and there's something faint but definitely not a definitive BFP. Why do I do this to myself?! It came up pretty quickly I got pee on my fingers when I pulled the test apart to check it. Within 5 mins I'd say. I took the photo at about 15-20 mins. It looked like quite a dilute wee so I guess I'll try another tomorrow if AF doesn't arrive before then. FF thinks I'm 13DPO today.

Thanks all. Not feeling very hopeful but then I couldn't imagine getting pregnant with DS and that clearly happened!

Out of interest... Is anyone finding it's taking a lot longer TTC #2 than with #1? I got pregnant first cycle with DS.

Mimi glad ur getting loads of dtd into ur schedule lol enjoy it now , I feel like sex with OH at the moment is like a comedy scene ! We manage once or twice a week but just don't feel sexy with a bump in the middle ! It's only going to get worse haha x

Hi all. Been quiet again. DD has been really ill and was in hospital yesterday but she's finally getting better.
CD4 and AF is done already, was lighter than usual but a lot more painful.

Got a high opk today on cb dusl indicator but feel sooooo ill. Not sure DH will come near me so fingers crossed i feel better soon or can convince DH that he wants to dtd with a sick person, coz it'll make me feel better

Possibly TMI but I need to ask. Have any of you suffered with really bad tummy cramps and diarrhoea at this stage? I'm experiencing a moment of relief and need to ask. It might make me feel a tiny bit better. Been feeling awful for a couple of hours now

I think it was 14DPO or 16DPO last time. I've looked at my FF chart but the days don't quite tally with what I remember (I thought I tested Sunday and I definitely got my BFP on Tuesday but FF has 4 days between tests so I might have recorded it on that wrong day).

Gx I used OPK after I got my first period since having DD. Two years I went without one, good in some respects as one less thing to worry about, but then you wonder when it's gonna show

My cycles were really mixed up before, some around 100 days long, and so I fully expected to need to monitor things. I started with the OPK but gave up testing after a month! Then we DTD one afternoon (of freedom) and I felt a niggle that night. Whipped out the kit and it indicated I was highly fertile but hadn't reached peak (and that took around a week). We decided to go for it and DTD every other day. OH must've been delighted after a dry spell

So that's what's led to us trying and if I do get a BFP I will feel very lucky indeed.

Under when did you get your BFP last time? Hope you get a good result tomorrow buddy! I think I will test. Again...I already tested once when my tests arrived and was 8dpo dunno what I was thinking. It made me realise how much I want this though.

Interesting you should say that about longer cycles. With DS I got 2 BFN before my BFP, I think they were at 10 and 12 DPO, maybe even later. Not even a hint of a line!

Little - I got pregnant on a 32 day cycle as mine wer longer after the pill , did u use OPKs ? I tested 12 dpo after using the OPKs and got a faint line so it depends on how ur tracking I suppose ? X
I didn't ovulate until cd 19 so if i wasn't using them I would have been waiting a bit longer X
Also well done to u for not whipping the tests out too soon !
I understand landlords have a lot to deal with but at the sm time we haven't had any issues in the 3 years we have been here an always paid our rent so was hoping they would b able to arrange a guy pretty soon considering the washing machine is a necessity when u have a messy toddler , hopefully hear bk soon ! Lol X

Thanks for asking Gx. I was fine that afternoon. Genuinely thought I was coming down with something. Felt so rough! Trying not to convince myself that it's another symptom. Hope you and your bump are doing okay. Must be frustrating having to chase landlords etc. It frustrates me reading stuff like that as we work so hard to keep tenants happy!

Loki your conservatory planning sounds fun. We're moving house at the moment so DH keeps bombarding me with pictures of sofas and bed frames. I'm rubbish at all that stuff.

Nothing to report here except washing machine still broken and letting agency was supposed to be sending someone out to have a look ( and haven't ) washing pile growing and over flowing , really pissing me off now so will b angrily calling them bk again ! I told them I would b in Thursday or Friday , what r the bets I get a call then will need to take it all the mums in the meantime ( sigh ) xx

I foolishly tested on Saturday which was a BFN. A little early according to Ovia but I'll try one more time, think I'm just waiting for AF though now. Borrowing a clear blue monitor off a lovely mum in my DS's birth group so got high hopes for that for next month! My 3 year age gap is out the window now so I'm pretty down about it all

Sorry to hear that Dutchy. My DS was a first cycle baby too and this time I'm on cycle 5 and counting :(
