Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

You had no symptoms of pcos Rosie? My mum had it and I know there does tend to run in families, but I always thought I was OK as I had no symptoms!!

Ni4444 · 23/03/2016 19:09

Oh Pug that sounds miserable...and exhausting!! Great idea with the home pizza....I find a lot of the time take outs just aren't as good as what you'd cook yourself anyway (and yes overloaded with calories!)! Or maybe just no good takeouts near me?!! We're scrapping cooking tonight and heading up to the high street for dinner...feels like such a treat midweek! And after an emotionally exhausting day at work! Calls for a glass of vino! Then home for possible O day dtd! Life ain't so bad!

Good idea with the agnus castus Inspector. Fingers crossed AF comes and next cycle is a bit more "regular".

I love that our grads are still around...it's lovely to hear about what is coming next...even if it is nausea and exhaustion!!

Mileymoocow · 23/03/2016 18:32

starky your new blog entry is fucking brilliant Grin

pug pizza makes everything better. It's literally my favourite food in the world! Enjoy it with wine

SincerelyRosie · 23/03/2016 18:32

Hi pug that's good to know. Thank you very much Smile I had my scan on Monday, blood tests last week. DH is waiting for his results. I just don't have any symptoms really so had kind of rules it out. I was using the clearblue dual hormone but I had 4 +opk on separate occasions in 50 days. Think I'm going to throw them all away & see what happens!

Have you been offered anything to support you in conceiving? My doctor mentioned a referral to a fertility clinic.

Pugmummy87 · 23/03/2016 18:21

Rosie I have pcos. If you need to ask anything, then please do. Have you had a scan and bloods done I guess?
Lots of women conceive normally with pcos (which is what I have to keep telling myself!).

I use the clear blue digital opks. I know opks can give false readings due to our high LH levels, which I why I went to the clear blue ones as trying to decipher the cheapy ones when I nearly always have a line was driving me nuts! I find the digital ones easier and they certainly seemed to accurately predict ovulation last month.

Thanks miley I'm making homemade pizza tonight, fancied something a bit naughty as I feel shit, but didn't want to completely ruin my healthy eating, so figured homemade was better than takeaway!

Inspector, 35, TTC#1.

CD38 of first cycle off the pill (after 17/18 years). Not much sign of anything happening so far :(
Had some EWCM on CD14 which got my hopes up, but nothing since.

Have started on Agnus Castus and maca root in an attempt to kick start my cycle.

So pleased for all the BFPs there have been. Well done ladies!
Best of luck to everyone else still waiting, especially those of you who are further down the road x

Mileymoocow · 23/03/2016 17:34

Love to both of you, it sounds like you're having a rough week! Lots of Wine and Brew to help you through.

FXSkip · 23/03/2016 17:16

FX for you pug, sounds rough. I also had a crappy AF this month, just dragged on and on - made me think I might have had a chemical as its not normally like that.

Pugmummy87 · 23/03/2016 17:13

Pug
Cycle 5
AF due 18th April

??possible chemical pregnancy at end of cycle 4, faint positive last Thursday (but appeared after time limit), af started Friday and bfn Saturday, on cd6 but temp has only just fallen and my flow has suddenly increased a lot today.

Ni you are not the only original left, I'm still here (not counting the above!)

Starky Please stay on this thread, wouldn't be the same without you. I love the support of this thread.

Tmi (sorry), but I've had to change tampons at least 2 hourly today, just what I needed in a busy clinic and they have been soaked through. Horrid cramps too. On cd6 as well. Hoping if it was a chemical, then the next one sticks!

CONGRATULATIONS KWICK AND ELLE wishing you both a happy healthy 9 months xx

Hope you are all taking care of yourselves ladies. Can't wait till we are all grads together. 😊

LaraG13 · 23/03/2016 16:21

Place marking!

Lara, 33, preggo with an 8+6 strawberry. Suffering with constant nausea and willing the next few weeks to pass quickly so the glowing can commence.

Still checking in often and hoping you all get your BFPs soon.

Snowdog37 · 23/03/2016 14:54

A quick hello from rainy Massachusetts ☔️☔️☔️ And many congrats to Kwick 🎉💐🎉💐🎉🎉🎉!!!! And anyone else I've missed? I can't keep up on my phone.
I'm 4dpo and have had mild cramps and backache all day yesterday and today. I know it's too early for anything. I've got an awful case of schrodingers pregnancy already.

Ni4444 · 23/03/2016 13:53

Ps Ever that was such a lovely message you left on the last thread... Sounded very hopeful and open minded there! Fingers crossed you manage to kick misery guts thinking out the window xx

Ni4444 · 23/03/2016 13:51

Thanks Stark (we'd be stuck with a full thread but bursting with the need to vent if we didn't have you!!)...plus we would miss YOU!! Don't go! 😘

Agnus castus not cactus Confused

LisaTheGreek · 23/03/2016 13:37

If anyone is interested, I've just been reading a Guardian article about fertility tracking and apps, and the data collection/tech side of it all.

www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/mar/23/fitbit-for-your-period-the-rise-of-fertility-tracking

Warning, it is VERY long (maybe something for a lunch break or to read at home later). It's not about advice for TTC, but I found it interesting to hear about how fertility apps have come about (it's largely about Kindara, and also mentions Glow), and some history of fertility awareness. Also touches on the topic of data privacy, and marketing.

Checking in...
Age: 29
Status: 12 weeks today with a naughty, nausea-inducing apricot.
