Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

Congrats kwick!!!

SuchaJem · 23/03/2016 21:50

Hahaha too true kwick!

Kwick709 · 23/03/2016 21:32

Sucha repeat after me "I must always have a FRER in stock" !!!!!!!

SuchaJem · 23/03/2016 21:26

lyssie just seen your post on the last thread :) fingers massively crossed for you too. Today is day 29 for me and AF is due - according to pink pad which I've used for years and tends to be right. I did ovulate a day later than she predicted though so perhaps AF should come tomorrow.

To be honest I have no idea what's going on. I was convinced AF was imminent on Sunday - had all the classic PMS signs. Now this week they've kind of gone and I've just got slightly tender boobs and a bit of back ache. I've also got quite a lot of cm.

Are you holding out to test Friday? I think I've got one boots test in the cupboard which I might do in the morning. I've got no lovely frers though!

bluebird3 · 23/03/2016 21:26

Hi everyone! I agree that the grads should stick around!!!

Bluebird
Age 30
Ttc #1
Cycle 13 (yes...13...never thought it wouldn't have happened in a year, but here I am)
Cd 18, probably 2-3dpo, not sure as I'm trying to be casual and just dtd as much as dh can handle.
Af due 5th of April.

I no longer symptom spot as I think in the last year I've had every possible combination of symptoms and not a whiff of a bfp. GP said we need to try naturally 6 more months before we start having tests etc.

Haven't been on for a couple of days but congrats to all the recent bfps!!ThanksSmileThanksSmileThanks

Pugmummy87 · 23/03/2016 21:23

One glass of wine and I feel a bit lightheaded haha.

Thank you all for the hugs, love and thoughts. I love this thread, you are all such a lovely bunch of women. Grin

SuchaJem · 23/03/2016 21:16

Massive hugs pug what an awful week, I hope you're alright xxx

Grads please stick around! I love how supportive this thread is, and all the different personalities we have. Who else is going to understand Huw and Doreen???

Still no AF. Been to the theatre tonight and had some lovely wine :)

Lyssie · 23/03/2016 21:08

On lady part issues: I have endometriosis, and a rotten case at that, so my periods are monstrosities. I'm 99% sure AF either isn't coming or she will be quite late.

SincerelyRosie · 23/03/2016 21:07

Pug what an awful week for you. Hope things go well Flowers

kwick lucky 13 indeed!! My birthday is on the 13th so always thought it lucky!!

Pugmummy how hard - my heart goes out to you Flowers

starky thanks for new thread :) I made a couple of posts on the last one... should know better by now... lets see if I can remember what I wrote!

I am here under false pretenses also - I hope you let me stick around though - this thread has been so important to me... would not know what to do without you all...

So here are my stats:
Kwick
Age 41 but only admit to 21
TTC #1
I am foot loose and fancy free but really want to have a baby - so last year I decided to start IUI treatment with donor sperm - which I like to call magic potion. I did 5 IUIs - all failed - and then in January I started stimulated IVF - I got my BFP confirmed yesterday :)
BTW I have PCOS - I have a forest on my face and boobage Shock, other symptoms include weight gain, insomnia, cysts. But my periods are fairly regular (but extremely painful and heavy) and I managed to get upduffed - albeit with major intervention!
Who knew the number 13 could be lucky?

SincerelyRosie · 23/03/2016 20:57

pug I think you're right. A far more relaxed TTC would be nice. & breathe.

HepKestrel · 23/03/2016 20:05

opk ever so slightly darker today... suspect i will ovulate soon....
OH comes home tomorrow evening for easter.

(in other news grumpy-old-expensive-cat is enjoying his daily treats with hidden pill center....no problems so far!)

SincerelyRosie · 23/03/2016 19:57

Starky No smear when your pregnant unless you're already having treatment. I think it's 3-6 months after having the baby. When you said about your cycles being so long it had crossed my mind. I'm holding onto your positive as a glimmer of hope!!

Pugmummy87 · 23/03/2016 19:57

Rosie not everyone has the obvious symptoms of pcos, Victoria Beckham has pcos and look how slim she is!
My only symptoms were irregular periods and weight gain, I don't have acne (I get maybe 1 spot around time af due) and I don't have the excess hair either.
The weight gain is a contentious issue, no one is sure whether it's the pcos that makes you gain weight or whether gaining weight causes pcos. It can cause insulin resistance which makes losing weight harder, low gi diet is normally recommended.

I was diagnosed 5 years ago after coming off the pill, was told 'you may find it more difficult to conceive, see your doctor after trying for 6 months'.
Suppose that doesn't help with trying to be chilled about ttc!

Pizza was yummy! Ni we only have the one takeaway that delivers to us as we live in the village of the damned lol.

Thank you Stark you are right, our time will come at some point. And yes, you are right about smears, not recommended to have during pregnancy due to the changes in the cervix, can give false results.

Pouring myself a large glass of wine, got to get through putting my Dad's ashes in he's memorial stone tomorrow. Bit of a shitty week really.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 23/03/2016 19:41

kat Im definitely not leaving! I'd be too sad!
miley thanks mate! he's had me in silent stitches all week and not known what I'm giggling about!
rosie if my goatee us anything to go by (and other things) I'm fairly certain I've got something polycystic going on in the ovaries. I was going to ask about being tested when I went for my smear, but I don't think you have a smear if upduffed do you? I'll have to check.

pug ever you are both wonderful, your time will come!
ni was it you or feef who joked aaages ago about me having twins? I genuinely woke up in a cold sweat earlier thinking about that! The worry!

Lovely No symptoms apart from irregular cycles. I'm a size 8, not abnormal hairs, no acne etc. My sister was diagnosed years ago when she was a size 4 with regular periods! I guess you don't have to have any symptoms!?
