Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

Congratulations lyssie

I often wonder how it must feel to be one of those mums who don't know they're pregnant until they give birth. I feel as though my body is so hyper sensitive now I'm ttc.

snow snap! I don't think we did it enough either, just twice in my egg whiteness :(

mayago · 25/03/2016 22:54

I know how you feel Confused, and this is only my third cycle Shock I dread to think how I'll be feeling in the next few months waiting on that elusive BFP.

At least I'm at a point in my life where my friends are pretty well finished having children. I had a great niece last year, so the next generation are already starting in my family.. I'm only 34, and I know in the grand scheme of things it's not that old, but I feel so past it already, and I've only just started TTC! It's a really difficult thing to talk to friends and family about, as they've mostly been there so long ago Sad

KatOnATinRo0f · 25/03/2016 22:47

The beginning was about September I think.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 25/03/2016 22:36

You guys, I know how bloody demoralising it is. If one of dh's Doreens has managed to get past Hugh the cervix gnome and romance my egg then I am absolutely convinced that it will happen for yous all too! I still don't honestly believe it, I can't quite accept it yet. Which is weird as balls. I'm just like "I'll eat lot of fruit and hope for the best for the next few weeks and see how I get on.

My dsis is teaching Nacho 'roll over'and 'wait'...He has sooooo much enthusiasm! And 5%concentration.

Congratulations lyssie fx for a nice dark line tomorrow! 👍🎂💐🎁

I've been here since nearly the beginning I think? December maybe. It's amazing seeing so many grads but demoralizing thinking it looks like I'm one of the stats who can't or won't get pregnant. I've got the nearly 7dpo Blues. Have had low level cramps for 3 days and I'm just plain exhausted. We didn't dtd enough and I'm stressed over it just never happening. 😜😕

Confusedcat1 · 25/03/2016 22:18

I just feel like in a few months I'll be rattling around in this thread on my own :p I'm probably just still in the af wallow phase, hopefully I'll snap out of it soon!

Evergreen15 · 25/03/2016 21:51

Ni yes I seem to catch every cold, I wish you could catch a pregnancy too Grin

Ni4444 · 25/03/2016 21:23

Lyssie I knew you were preggers!! Congratulations!!

Confused I had a time when I had to step away too. You do whatever you need to. If you need support we'll still be here (for ever it seems!!!!!)

Ever I agree...the 1cycle upduffedness is hard. Wish pregnancy was like an infectious epidemic! 😷

Pugmummy87 · 25/03/2016 21:22

confused completely understand that feeling. You're only a few days behind me (I'm cd8 of cycle 5), I've been here since the beginning (along with a few others!) and I get that feeling of being left behind. If you feel you need to take a break if it helps that's fine, just know we are all here when/if you want to come back. Hugs.

Am finally now at the spotting stage at the end of my period. 8 bloody days. Normally only have about 4.

Lyssie congratulations! Need to see a pic!

ipatches I agree, I am happy for those on here who got their bfp, however in real life, especially if I'm not really a friend, I find it much more difficult. I feel horrid because for all I know, maybe they struggled too.

Evergreen15 · 25/03/2016 21:16

Confused take a break if you need too Smile. I might do the same maybe. It is a bit hard, I understand.
I particularly have struggled in the past with all the people up the duff on their first cycle. That ain't easy. Smile

I have taken a break from temping and that is helping.
Also focussing on getting my driving license and other little projects to take some of the pressure from TTC SmileThanksThanksThanks Hugs

Lyssie · 25/03/2016 21:12

I won't retest till tomorrow a.m. But here is my snap from this morning! It was more visible in person, but my lovely husband took the trash out so I can't fish it out, haha!

Way to go Lyssie!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Star

confused we will be here for you when you want to come back :)

From my side - I started TTC in June last year... every BFP has been a joy to hear about but also a shadow, a doubt that perhaps I would never get lucky. Being on this thread (sorry guys I am a bit of a thread junkie, so am on a number of other ones too) has really helped me - but I can understand that it can all get a bit much.

iPatches · 25/03/2016 19:40

Jem - and fx for you. We want this so much.

Fishy - we know what each other on here are going through so it's easy to be delighted when someone who you know has worried, plotted, tested etc. gets their BFP - it's also very exciting Grin. It's harder outside of here because you don't see the ups and downs and most of us aren't telling our "real life" friends about TTC. I'm delighted for my friends who have recently become pregnant or had a child but I'm also, silently of course, incredibly jealous. Since we haven't told them that we are TTC it's like having a big secret!

SuchaJem · 25/03/2016 19:34

Ah yes my next test date is 22 April please kat. That feels aaaaaaaages away! :(

KatOnATinRo0f · 25/03/2016 19:30

Confused I inboxed u xx

vixarooni · 25/03/2016 19:30

I'm channelling lilt, Bob Marley and life in the Maldives this month. I'm being so chilled I'm barely remembering my folic acid but hey ho.

I have no idea how many dpo I am, ovia says April 5th is when I'm due. You need that info Kat?

SuchaJem · 25/03/2016 19:07

Congrats lyssie! Wonderful news.

Hugs confused take a break if you need to xx

ipatches "desperately hopeful" pretty much sums me up too. Fingers crossed for you xx

LovelyFishy · 25/03/2016 18:25

Congratulations Lyssie!

Is it just me, or are other people really happy when one of us gets pregnant but end up feeling really sorry for yourself when it's someone we know outside of here??

iPatches · 25/03/2016 18:23

Confused - take a break if you need to, but you will get there, and have been a huge support to everyone on this thread. (Selfishly, you're only a couple of weeks ahead of me, so don't leave me behind!)

Confusedcat1 · 25/03/2016 18:01

confused
30, Ttc 1, cycle 5

Cd 4.

Im actually considering taking a mumsnet break, somehow it's making me feel quite left behind. Our grads list is incredible and I am happy for each and every one of them but I think it's making me feel more shitty about the whole thing.

Anyway my plan for this month is just carry on dtd as much as possible, opks, eating ad healthily as possible and trying to be less stressed.

And congrats lyssie xxxxxxxxFlowers

iPatches · 25/03/2016 15:22

Lyssie - congratulations

I'm late to this one but...
TTC#1 Cycle 4ish (not exactly sure)
CD 17ish (...not exactly sure!), had positive OPK on Sunday so guessing 5dpo. No symptoms. Desperately hopeful but not feeling it this month. Not really sure when AF is due but I think we were going with April 8 or 9.

Jamjar12 · 25/03/2016 15:06
