Quick q, due to travelling home from in laws yesterday, I didn't test yesterday, but have had negative Saturday and today. Is there a chance there was a barrow surge and I was unlucky? I thought surges lasted 2 days?

Lol starky I love that you have no filter. I'm curious to know if you have a TMI level... I don't know what we'd do without you - and now we have you to pre-warn us of the realities of pregnancy if/when it happens to us!! Island it's tough learning about reality isn't it? I remember going shopping shortly after starting ttc and nearly not buying more sanitary products because "I won't be needing those anymore!" - wrong!! I hope your tests go well tomorrow and that you get a nice doctor.

Starky I had a similar-ish thing a few days ago. After my bfn I was pretty sure I had a uti, got pills from the doctor but you can't take them if you're preggers! I was 99% sure I wasn't, but if I was and took them I'd have felt really bad. So I had to wait two days before AF finally showed up.

And to everyone who has BFP's it's nice to still hear from you guys. It's good to know people actually do get pregnant because it was seeming like a myth to me!

Hello all, just been catching up on what's been happening over the last few days and it seems it's been as busy as ever.

More BFPs too, so congrats to lyssie and anyone else I missed.

kat & fishy I'm also on cycle 8. We've been trying since Jan '15, got preggo in July last year but mc at 6+2, and now that's us 8 cycles on and still nothing, so far.

I'm 38 so I'm really starting to feel like we're up against it time wise. Didn't seem so bad when we first started TTC and i was naive enough to think it would happen straight away - thought we'd have our first dc banged out while i was still 37 and would have been on our way to dc2 by now, but have now sadly learned that you really can't schedule this stuff much as i'd love to

We're off for our first appt at the fertility clinic tomorrow so I'm super nervous. We've both tested normal in the first run of sperm & hormone checks (i got 5.5 for my FSH, i'm told that's good) so I'm guessing that tomorrow they'll check my AMH level. Really hoping that it's not going to be bad news

Anyway, i'm currently in ISW ASW (average sex week) since we've decided to take a more chilled approach to it all now. Ovulation due on weds so hoping that the appt tomorrow doesn't dampen our enthusiasm for dtd!

Stark just a note if u have oral thrush u can go to see a dentist. They can issue prescriptions and give advice on management X

My period is only three days with spotting on the forth, but this time it was more 2 days with a bit more spotting on the third! That was taking epo, so who knows!

Don't think I'll take epo again. Haven't noticed any ewcm this month and last.

Such I had that too. Super short period. I was taking 1500mg once a day. Off it now till AF is due on Friday

Such that happened to me with the EPO this cycle too. I think it's probably best to start it when AF ends...I reckon that's what I'll do next month. I took 1000 in the morning, 1000 in the evening (cos the first couple of days I took 3000 in one go and got headaches and cramping as it causes the uterus to contract slightly) I wanted to take the higher dose so spreading it across the day worked perfectly. No more headaches!... Just shows how powerful it is that I could feel the response from 3000 though!

Morning ladies, just catching up and of course checking for BFPs! Seems our pre-easter rush is abating though. I have no news to report myself, as usual, but sympathise with snow, confused, ever, kathrino and ipatches. Guys, we've been here since the earlier days of the thread (I've been here since December) and we've cheerfully waved off heaps of grads and we''ve all thought 'when is it going to be my turn?'. I think we feel like we are getting left behind, but there were a bunch of people who were really new here, and we didn't really know their stories - they may have been off BC for ages - or never on it. Lets not get distracted or discouraged because of them - and that's not to say newbies aren't welcome on this thread, of course they are. We've also had whole months where we know we missed FW, either through illness or bad timing or not knowing - so they almost don't even count. Don't beat yourself up about this - we are all in this together, we are all here for the same reason. Sorry for rambling, I don't really know where I'm going with this. Love you all, basically. Thats what I'm trying to say. x

EPO chat please. I'm trying for first time this month and my period stopped early - only had it 3 days.

This suits me but wondered if anyone else noticed this?

Am taking 1 capsule a day - 1000mg I think. Is that enough?

Morning all. Just checking in. Mixed bag here this weekend - feeling better and had some good quality time with DH, but also feeling like we haven't been lucky this cycle. CD20, 8dpo and no symptoms. Perhaps because I ovulated so early? I don't know. Just feeling rubbish about the whole thing TBH.

Ever - that is deep for a Monday morning. Doesn't it change throughout our lives anyway? I think I become more conscious of the effects my actions have as I get older.
