Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

While we're on a vitamin in chat, what is epo? I've heard people talk about it in relation to cm?

Kwick709 · 01/04/2016 20:16

Hep scroll up a bit to see the vitamins I took/take :)

Kwick709 · 01/04/2016 20:13

what a fker kat I am really sorry Flowers

Welcome ski

Really sorry Moose Flowers

HepKestrel · 01/04/2016 20:04

What were the vitamins people recommended on previous thread? Folic+d+b's?

Kwick709 · 01/04/2016 20:01

snowdog your wish is my command:
CoQ10 (am)
Vitamin E (pm)
Vitamin C 1000mg (pm)
Vitamin D 1000 whatevers (am)
Trying to have a baby supplement
Additional folic acid
Vitamin B complex

Try reading "It starts with the egg" - loads of advice there :)

FXskip LOL at your double bluff! I do those all the time & get confused too!

Island my pleasure!!! I feel very honoured that you took my advice. Glad to hear they are going to test your tubes :)

snowdog sorry about your low AMH. Great that you are covered for 3 IUIs - this will do the trick! Just think the magic potion does not have to race - it gets plonked right where it needs to be and exactly the right time. Remember you need PMA to help you through this minefield!
Also maybe you should try to get a hycosy too like island - I regretted not having that test done.

Kwick709 · 01/04/2016 19:40

pug vix and feefs I have been quite good today food wise: baguette with a plain omelette and mayo, endamame beans, greek salad, mini pork pies, chicken I am definitely not staring at an eccles cake from M&S

SkiAngel · 01/04/2016 18:26

Thanks Jam! Smile Congratulations! it'll definitely be worth it in the end! Quietly hopeful I'll be like you!

SuchaJem · 01/04/2016 18:07

Sorry moose, enjoy your wine XX

It does feel a bit like a spate of bfns have followed the flurry bfps :( hope the tide turns soon.

We need an updated list I think!

I'm cautiously interested in trying out crocheting too, will check out those links. I feel a baby blanket coming on...

islandgirl99 · 01/04/2016 17:43

Sorry for all the BFNs :( it kinda feels like the swell of BFPs from the last thread have come to a fairly abrupt end, but fingers crossed for feefs and ski and anyone else preparing to poas over the weekend, hopefully we'll get back into the swing of good news again soon.

inspector thanks for the link to the AC. I have it in my amazon basket but haven't hit buy yet, still dithering. This is my first month temping and am seeing some odd things on my chart which made me think my luteal phase might be shorter than i thought, but I might hold out and see what happens over the rest of this cycle before panic buying! At least now I'm ready to purchase if/when the panic sets in Smile

Mooseville · 01/04/2016 17:31

AF is here! At least she arrived bang in time for wine o clock! Cheers everyone!!!

Thanks for the link starky I'll check it out!

Jamjar12 · 01/04/2016 17:24

I'm currently letting a 6+1 blueberry suck the life out of me Ski lol. I literally feel like a vampire victim dying a very slow and exhausting death haha. But it will be worth it in the end!!

I was going on about my boobs feeling weird from really early on and they have basically stayed like that for the past 4 weeks. Cautiously hoping it's a good sign for you!

SkiAngel · 01/04/2016 17:17

Thanks Moose Hep and Kav, maybe I'm not going mad then (fingers tightly crossed Grin).

Jam what CD are you on now? I'm due AF Tues/Wed I think. I've noticed this has been the case for a few days now too but keep trying to put it at the back of my mind!

Jamjar12 · 01/04/2016 16:58

Just thought I'd check in and say hi, hope everyone is ok and not driving themselves too crazy! Sorry for the AFs and BFNs :( Is anyone else due to test soon? Feels like there's been a bit of a lull after the spate of BFPs last month!

Ski, I had the same from about 7dpo so I'd say fingers crossed!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 01/04/2016 16:52

moose this is a lovely easy project and the girl explains it really well too.

kat sorry she got you mate, wasn't expecting that Flowers

Will have to have a proper catch up later, bastard Dh woke me up at 4am and I've been up pretty much since then! It's his fault there's been no blog yet this week!

kavanaughkj · 01/04/2016 16:52

Heya Ski! From what I hear, 9 dpo isn't too early for symptoms- so good luck!

HepKestrel · 01/04/2016 16:19

welcome ski !

Mooseville · 01/04/2016 16:11

Cheers kav I'll definitely check it out. I think I'm going to go and purchase some hooks and wool this week!

ski I think 9 days might be soon enough? I don't know!! It seems that no symptoms is a good sign from most of the grads on here! It's always when they least expect it that it happens!

SkiAngel · 01/04/2016 16:04

I'm very early on the TTC bus and although I'm trying not to symptom spot, I can't help but feel like my nipples are permanently erect (TMI sorry!) and I'm getting the occasional shooting pain in my right one. I'm probably imagining and feel silly for even saying it, especially at only 9dpo. Is that not too early for symptoms anyway?

SkiAngel · 01/04/2016 15:54

Hi,

I think I've posted on 2 old threads now, not realising this is the new one! Lol. Can I join ladies? About me:

TTC #1
CD24
9dpo

And desperately trying not to symptom spot, so I don't get my hopes up!

kavanaughkj · 01/04/2016 15:53

Yep I'm a newbie crocheter, Moose - I've been a knitter all my life as my mum taught me, but she never really crocheted and so it frankly scared me shitless. There are so many gorgeous geeky things to crochet though that I'm sucking it up and trying to learn :) I have an amigurumi book to crochet cute little Japanese toys, though before I even touch that I went to YouTube and searched for beginners crochet videos and just tried out some basic stitches. There are a ton out there and they're all pretty good.

My best resource though is definitely Ravelry.com. If you're interested at all in anything like knitting or crochet it's a boundless resource of patterns, yarns and projects other people have done, and it's so worth signing up to. I'm Kavanaugh over there, if you wanted to take a peek. :) Just started trying to crochet a Queen Anne's Lace scarf in this gorgeous Manos del Uruguay silk blend yarn in a colourway called 'Cosmic' which is beautiful and keeps my mind and fingers occupied - and it's way easier to do than it looks (here's the pattern: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/queen-annes-lace-scarf) Turns out I never needed to be scared of crochet at all. :)

celizabe · 01/04/2016 15:10

Hi Ni , I know bloody Ovia, she's killing me ... think I'm just going to ignore her and stick with my little Excel wizardry Smile. I've just got cycle length, predicted and actual AF and then some rough calcs for when I think the FW week is. I'm going by the longest and shortest cycle I've had to see if it works ... was going to try SMEP but I'm already on day 12 so maybe next month!

Mooseville · 01/04/2016 14:36

Ahhhhh Booo. Sorry kat
Think I'll be joining you shortly, wish it would hurry up if it's going to come so I can have guilt free wine! Each day past when AF is due makes the 2ww seem a doddle! I must have been to the loo a hundred times at work today thinking "oh there she is" Errr no there she isn't!! Aargh!
I hate that even though you know it's not going to happen, there's still this glimmer of hope!!!

Have you just started crocheting kav? I fancy giving it a go but know nothing about it so will need a good kit/book? Any recommendations?
