Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

Yay feefs! enjoy it :)

I'm due on today, wish it would hurry up! Did a test two days ago and got a bfn so I'm not wasting anymore hope or money on this cycle! I've ordered pressed and some vits for cycle 4. I'm ready for it! Plus I'm hoping my new exercise regime will help.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 05/04/2016 19:58

No feef as long as you're booked in with your midwife you should be ok. I rang the gp to get my midwife appointment. You're very good, it took me three weeks to ring up! I'm glad you're on such a high! You being so pleased is making me smile! Smile You do indeed have to celebrate the good times! You're so right!

Feef you can have a pregnancy test party with usssssssss!!! (I'll bring the wine for the non-preggo... You bring the cake)

islandgirl99 · 05/04/2016 13:20

Yes, starky, sound advice as always Smile

Huge congrats feefs, it felt like we were due a bfp!

I'm not really sure what's going on in my cycle this time. I'd been using opks last few cycles and was consistently getting ovulation on day 18. I stopped using the opks this month, but tried temping for the first time, and from the temperature FF has now changed from saying that i ovulated on day 18 to now saying it was on day 20, and it's also increased my predicted cycle length from 30 to 33 days.

Either way, I'm feeling pretty chilled out about stuff this month. Not really expecting it to happen, realised this morning that I didn't immediately know how many dpo i was (a good sign that i'm not obsessing maybe?!) so went into FF to see and then noticed that it's changed all my dates. Oh well.

SuchaJem · 05/04/2016 12:34

No starky you don't sound awful at all, it's all sound advice. The first two cycles for me I was ridiculously carried away and hopeful and the disappointment was awful. Now cycle 4 and I feel much more relaxed about it.

kat guess there's no harm reintroducing the opks? I don't feel like I could not use them now, would feel a bit blind! I think kwick was trying to get rid of some?

StarkyTheDirewolf · 05/04/2016 12:24

jem I probably sound awful whrn I'm all mean but when you've seen it /done it yourself, spending time tying yourself up in knits wondering only for af to arrive. It's soul destroying after a while! We've all been there julia Smile

feef my Dh didn't really "believe" it either probably not helped that I still don't either but it was a massive anti-climax! Had I been all pumped up and excited I'd have felt like a deflated balloon after he went "oh, we'll have to wait and see, eh babe?" Took about a week for it to sink in with Mr Starky.

SkiAngel · 05/04/2016 11:54

Starky thanks for that post, it's just what I needed to hear and makes so much sense!!

I'm currently 13dpo and been getting mild cramps throughout yesterday and now today too. I. Keep checking for AF every time I go to the toilet but so far, nothing. I'm not entirely sure when AF is due as it took my cycle about 3 months to settle and even then, I think it varies between 28-30 days. Last month I had light brown discharge on 11/12/13dpo and then AF proper from 14dpo. A few days of brown discharge is standard for me before AF so I tend to count them as a CD, although not sure if that's correct! Anyway, I'm rambling!! I'm going to just wait it out I think, as with this cramping, I'm sure it'd be a bfn and I don't want the disappointment.

Ni I'm in a similar position to you I think!! I'm cautiously hoping I'm in a position to test in a few days!! Smile

Feefeefs · 05/04/2016 10:26

I'm not sure I will be able to wait Kat DH is working late tonight so I might just have a little pregnancy test party myself

kavanaughkj · 05/04/2016 09:51

Fishy, my DH has never had any problems at all until we started TTC. The first couple of months were fine and most of this last one was, and to be fair he was ill right over my fertile window, so I'm not sure if it was pressure or feeling crap, but we definitely had more problems then than usual. He swears it was just because of feeling rubbish and that he's not stressing out or feeling under pressure to perform but ... well, we'll see in a couple of weeks I guess.

My temps were very Rocky Mountains at the start Pug. Mainly because I didn't have a proper BBT thermometer at first, had to replace it - and then because I pretty much always sleep with my mouth open, which I wish I knew how to stop doing. These days I take my temps vaginally - it's a little warmer down there but at least I get a consistent temperature. Not sure what the 9 fertile days in a row are though!

LovelyFishy · 05/04/2016 09:17

Sucha I started opk'ing 2 days ago, managed to do one am and one pm both days. No sign of eggo. Last month I think I ovulated cd 14 (today!) so hopefully soon so I can still be in with a chance this month and tend to DH's stress!

That is a bit odd Pug, maybe you're just super fertile this month? Grin

Ni4444 · 05/04/2016 09:09

Feef I'm currently CD32 12dpo. Last two cycles I've been temping and had 10dpo then AF the next day so technically it was due yesterday. Low temps again this morning though so not hoping anything!
Hope you get a nice strong pregnant on Thursday!! My OH is cautious about all of this too...I'm sure your DH will get excited when he sees it in writing!

KatOnATinRo0f · 05/04/2016 08:33

Feeds how on earth could you wait until Thursday??

Evergreen17 · 05/04/2016 08:07

Feefs I have been taking epo this month!!! Just hoping some of this luck rubs my way! GrinGrin
Julia I have had sore boobs and nausea since I started TTC Confused I think our bodies are playing tricks or we ate just paying more attention to things we normally wouldnt. This is not to burst your bubble, but to help you relax a little and avoid disappointment, because this is not what i did for the first 4 cycles and ended up upset every time. Dont test too soon as Starky says Smile

Feefeefs · 05/04/2016 07:43

Ha ha just realised obv a digital will just say it or not! Will still wait till Thursday tho I think DH thinks I'm losing the plot

Feefeefs · 05/04/2016 07:38

Thanks jam Smilewill get one after work! Going to wait until Thursday though to try and catch a bigger difference. Here's today's and yesterday's

I'd definitely recommend getting the digital ones Feefs, they are rather expensive so shouldn't be used as just a random test lol, but if you've got another line today then it's a lovely feeling seeing it basically spelt out for you on a digi! I definitely didn't believe I was pregnant until I saw it lol. So excited for you! Go buy one now!!
