Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

5stardusty I am so so sorry for your awful news. Flowers

Kwick709 · 17/04/2016 20:39

Sorry for AF Hep and Evergreen

I do not want to add to cray-cray Suchajem but I definitely had a heightened sense of smell in 2WW... that said I think the lure of a Starky Star should keep you on the straight and narrow.

Feefeefs · 17/04/2016 19:18

Sorry for your loss 5tarThanks**

Evergreen17 · 17/04/2016 16:45

Please look after yourself. I am so sorry for your loss Flowers
welcome back, but i wish we were all meeting you in the grads and not back here.

OH is going giddy over photos of his new nephew (6days old).
Think he will be easy to convince this next FW.

I have a confession. I don't symptom spotting even when AF arrives. I keep trying to judge whether it is normal AF, or abnormally-light. I need a reality check.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 17/04/2016 12:09

I'm so sorry, I can't even find the words. It will bring you luck, and bring back the obsessing! Flowers

Just about to start a new very lucky thread, I can feel it. Lucky and positive.

Thanks starky, i'm really disappointed but just want it to be over now. Haven't actually miscarried yet but been spotting for almost a week. Waiting to go into hospital to have the process medically started. Then just hope my hormones get back to normal. It'll be wierd having my fingers crossed for a bfn!

Hoping that this thread might bring me luck again and allow me to share the obsessiveness again!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 17/04/2016 11:50

Welcome back 5tar although I'm so sorry it's under the circumstances. I'm so sorry for your loss. Flowers

Hello all, can i rejoin? Sadly had a mc at 9 weeks, but baby stopped growing at 5w.

Hoping to get ttc again asap and found this thread so helpful last time!

Ni4444 · 17/04/2016 11:40

Jem hold out! Avoiding the chemical pg roller-coaster is now my motivation not to test early!!

Working from home day today...but it's so sunny out!!! Might have to pop out in the garden for a little tea and profiteroles break...or two! 😉

KatOnATinRo0f · 17/04/2016 09:57

Hey everyone :) sorry for the People who have had the wicked with arrive over the week ... On to the next one, hey??

Jem ... No! A starky Star is waiting for you if you don't test!!

How is everyone doing? I'll try to catch up a little bit. Im not sure exactly where I am cycle wise - I'm in the SP/tww phase by now, but I'm not preggo this month as we didn't give it a good go. I didn't OPK again this month but we did dtd twice somewhere in the second week after AF, so I guess between days 10-14. But that hasn't worked in the previous 8 months so I've no reason to assume it will do this one, haha!

Off to the gym for a bit now... Therapy. Everything is better after a workout! StarCakeStarCakeStarCakeStarCakeStarCakeStar

Hello orchard Italy sounds wonderful, lucky you Smile

I'm 9dpo today and got all sorts going on - on and off I've had nausea, lots of cm, lots of back ache, daily lower tummy twinges, fast pulse, strong sense of smell, and really emotional and tired. Crying at the drop of a hat.

Tempted to test but I've only got ics and starkys voice in my head saying wait until AF due (Thursday - lifetime away Hmm)

Theorchard · 16/04/2016 19:35

Just checking in, sorry to hear no bfp the time hep and ever Sad
Encouraging to hear that the over 35 fertility info is disputed, it stresses me out a but, which I don't think helps anyone. I've been in Italy this week, enjoying lots of seafood and vino (plus a little work!), it's lovely being back home but so cold!
I should be fertile towards the middle to end of next week, so lots of dtd next week. It will be difficult though as dh working lots of odd shifts...still quick can be effective and I think he wants a baby even more than I do. Grin
jem and fishy fingers crossed for you both!! I can't talk anyone down as I enjoy being excited for others, maybe this it! Grin

HepKestrel · 16/04/2016 19:32

Sorry ever
I'm here to keep you company on the may bus

SuchaJem · 16/04/2016 19:25

We can be mental together fishy!

Hahahhaha at the wind!!

Big hugs for hep and ever xxx

HepKestrel · 16/04/2016 18:22

feefs OH asked what i was laughing at ! excellent typo

Feefeefs · 16/04/2016 17:52

Sorry about AF hep enjoy your steak! I'm jealous.

Also fishy just roared laughing at your typo, lots of wind for you both! Please don't wish that on me if it gets any worse I'll probably get an asbo

HepKestrel · 16/04/2016 17:22

ribeye steak tonight with red wine Smile

Pugmummy87 · 16/04/2016 17:18

Sorry Ever and hep Sad Sending you a ton of wine, pate, soft cheese and chocolate.

jem that sounds very promising. Pretty sure starky said she could smell everything and got her bfp so I'm hoping a bfp is coming your way!

HepKestrel · 16/04/2016 16:28

fx for you sucha

thanks fishy

LovelyFishy · 16/04/2016 15:34

Boo to AF Hep and Ever. Sad Lots of wind, cheese and caffeine for you both. WineBrewChocolate

I'd love to talk you down Sucha but I fear I too am lost to high hopes this cycle. Our kitties have never met a baby either, and they're both wimps who run when the postman arrives! I think a baby will be a shock for them. But as I told tabby cat the other day, it's one human made out of your two favourite humans, so what's not to like? Grin

Evergreen17 · 16/04/2016 14:44

AF is here Sad
On to Cycle#6
Fed up Sad

SuchaJem · 16/04/2016 11:29

Afterbirth ovulation? Spitting? What's happened to you lot! Haha

Sorry AF got you hep I've put you down for next month.

Someone talk me down from the edge. I'm 8dpo and I can smell EVERYTHING 😳😳😳 I nearly barfed this morning walking into the kitchen as could smell leftover mushrooms from last night, the bin - and have put DH in a grump as I had to tell him his breath smells of booze.

Dangerously high hopes over here!!!

mayago · 16/04/2016 11:12

Sorry AF found you Hep!

Pretty sure I OV on Tuesday evening while I was away for work (opk+ plus odd cramping?). DTD on the weekend, plus Monday and then not again until Thursday so I suppose there's a small chance.. Still don't think I can ovulate every month if one ovary is in cyst-ville, but I suppose I'd still get that OPK positive regardless. Such a minefield Confused
