Hi there, I ov either on the 28th of this month or a couple days later, I'm not sure if I am 9dpo or 14 dpo at this point but I'm guessing more towards 9dpo so ... With that my symptoms have been as following :
6 or 11dpo - slight nausea, headaches, peeing a lot, bloating, constipation, tiredness, little bit of white cm
7 or 12dpo - woke up feeling nauseous and that carried on with public transport but haven't been sick, woke up with lower leg cramps too. Feeling pregnant. Boobs are still swollen and still bloated. Cm has returned to clear and stretchy consistency Took a test but BFN
8 or 13dpo - symptoms easier today, feeling tired and breasts have been fluctuating a bit in size but no tenderness, had more cramping and sharp abdominal pains than normal but no bleeding. Felt a bit nauseous eating salted crisps but other than that not much nausea.
Still stuck with the clear stretchy cm
9 or 14dpo - had more cramping today in the morning and still feeling extremely thirsty and needing the loo a lot. Nipples have been slightly tender but only for a short while. I'm now basically all dried up down there, no sign of any cm.... Good or bad sign Hmm????

I'm trying so hard to resist the testing urge but I bought 4 asda own early response tests yesterday and it's so tempting. Would tomorrow (10 dpo) be too early!? af is due Wednesday or Thursday as far as I know so that would be 12 or 13dpo

early symptoms- when do I test!???
Jod1985 · 02/04/2016 12:33

It is slightly different here. We have what's called combined care so 50% GP, 50% hospital

Footprints1 · 02/04/2016 12:18

Hi all,

Did an ov test yesterday and it was a bit lighter line than the test control. So no BFP, and no OV.

Bad cramps today and pink streak after a wee so think AF is finally coming. Was disappointed as 22dpo without an AF or a BFP and the whole cycle was over 40 days. (Felt like was in the wilderness all this time searching for answers)!

At least I can now start the cycle again... Was recommended some oil of evening Primrose tabs. Positive thinking for April :)

sabzh · 02/04/2016 10:28

AnxiousBetty they did the same to me, the GP just referred me to the hospital of my choice. Then had to wait for them to get back to me with a booking date.

Yes footprints have you taken any more?

I was going to test this morning but my DH forgot to pick one up last night. So will do later or tomorrow morning. Got a drs app on Wednesday so i'll see what they say. They will probably fob me off as they usually do. X

raddersmrs · 02/04/2016 08:49

Footprints have you done any further tests??

Sleepyfergus · 01/04/2016 12:48

I've been following this thread and pleased so see some some bfps!

You don't need a doctors appt now to confirm a pregnancy. All they would get you to do is wee on a stick, and they know that in 99% of cases you've already done that (several times for some !). Instead to pass you over to midwifery, but again nothing really happens untill you get your 'booking in' date which you usually have to phone up to get yourself. That is usually before the scan where they go through your medical history, weight. You and test your urine for protein. Then you get your date for your scan and only then do you then start to see the midwives regularly.

Having said all that, different NHS regions will do things slightly differently, but the usual gps don't get involved with pregnancies unless it's something the midwives can't deal wth (or prescribe for)

Best of luck with everything everyone. It brings back lots of memories reading your stories.

AnxiousBetty · 01/04/2016 12:33

They didn't say, just said they will give me the hospital birthing centre number but not an appointment with my doctor Envy

Why did they dismiss you Betty?

AnxiousBetty · 01/04/2016 10:21

So my doctors dismissed me and said they won't see me but I have to get an appointment at the hospital in a couple of weeks instead ... Hmm

Apparently it can pick it up a little earlier than some of the tests but if it's consistently dark I would say it should be showing on a pregnancy test as faint line shortly if it is positive.

It's a bit of a guessing game until AF shows or BFP isn't it ... Hopefully all will be clear for you soon xx

Footprints1 · 31/03/2016 22:11

Just googled it myself and yes quite a few have. I did two tests, one this morning and one about 6 this eve, both were dark lines - same as the control line. (Just checked the bin and they still dark lines) Surely I'd be showing a positive on a HPT by now? I'll do another Ov test tomorrow to see if the line will be a lighter line or not? I really don't feel I'm ovulating as def not have any EWCM which is usually the case.

Still no AF, and def no signs of that either.

Really think it's my body re- adjusting to no pill..

raddersmrs · 31/03/2016 21:26

Footprints sometimes ovulation tests come up positive with two lines if you are pregnant before a pregnancy test does.
I'm not saying this is the case but I had the same thing happen and googled it and it does happen if it stays consistently dark. Mine went light again then I got BFN and AF.
How dark is the line??? Have you done another one??

sabzh · 31/03/2016 12:45

Aww Footprints im sorry to hear you're ill and that it wasa Bfn for you today. On the brightside if you have ovulated today then its not over! x

Footprints1 · 31/03/2016 11:50

*was supposed to say cycle is all over the place!

Well my cheap tests just arrived so did the ovulation ones. BFN today. Out of interest I did an ovulation one and I got two lines !!??!
So now it saying I'm ovulating. Although no EWCM or cramps? What the?????

Really confused now.. Will test the ov again later. Feel ill so don't really fancy any baby dance Blush

Footprints1 · 31/03/2016 10:20

Well I used a clear blue ov test & had a static smiley face on 11th (cd23)(peak fertility)and then again on 13th (cd25)of March. Was an empty circle on 15th (low fertility)So according to that AF should have def come by Easter weekend the latest.
I had all the pains etc.. But nothing.

I tested yesterday and was bfn. So don't think it'll happen now. Been really ill with flu that every symptom I had I now think was the blasted virus. Was sick this morning but my son had been sick also. I couldn't sleep on my boobs last night but again think it's all the aches and pains I have.

I ordered some cheapy tests as none left and wil test when they arrive today or tomorrow but my whole cycle is now over 40 days since last period! As I ovulated really late. Never ever been like that.

Have booked appt to see doc next week.

AnxiousBetty · 30/03/2016 21:58

I think I may have to pick up some catalogues soon to have a browse at the bits and pieces but I may hold off buying until the 12 week scan, don't want to get so excited that I just get more impatient Grin

I hope you can join us soon footprints and that you get your bfp! When was af due for you? Are you going to test?

Good luck jod! Keep positive and keep us updated! I hope af stays away for you and you've been lucky this first month Smilexx

Jod1985 · 30/03/2016 21:54

I'm sure I ovulated on Monday, I had ovulation pain on Monday night, it was so sore I had to lie down and then I had loads of EWC on Tuesday, my boobs are hot and heavy. We DTD Sunday and Tuesday....so fingers crossed. I only got my mirena removed last Wednesday so probably won't catch this month. Will likely get period in a couple of weeks but here's hoping she doesn't show.

Footprints1 · 30/03/2016 21:41

Yes definitely enjoy the shopping. I know some people like to wait til they are further along but seriously the last couple of weeks what u all have been feeling it makes it all worth while. So go ahead and enjoy every second of it. Mothercare, mamas & Papas and John Lewis all do catalogues to browse. You will be busy Wink

Keep me updated you pregnant ladies! I'm not giving up on this thread until I can join you all.

No news for me, still no AF, still got this flu virus so been in bed feeling ill unfortunately Blushthe nausea came with this so not related to anything positive.

On a positive note, we are just going to keep at it Easter Grinso although no AF I'm still hoping to catch the OV at some point if we can manage every other day?! .The other half will be shattered by next month Easter Wink

AnxiousBetty · 30/03/2016 21:08

Oh yes I can't wait to have a baby sling! Suppose it's much less bulky than a pushchair all the time!
Think I might have to start "being prepared" too! There's just so many little outfits but maybe I should wait to find out the gender Grin xx

OP posts:
Jod1985 · 30/03/2016 20:47

i'm a sling addict. Can't wait to baby wear a squishy baba!!

TheEdgeIsNigh · 30/03/2016 20:23

I used to buy things and hide them! I called it' being prepared' oh called it 'weird'! Blokes just don't understand our need to buy things!! Happy shopping.
And yes, the new peach is 😍😍 had a little go of one at the baby show.
My youngest is 18mths now so would be daft to buy one! 😤

AnxiousBetty · 30/03/2016 19:56

Honestly I haven't even thought about pushchairs! I just can't wait to get everything and make sure everything's okay with the little peach Thanks
Is it too early to start shopping for bits Grin just so excited!

Told OH and he was in complete shock at first! Got very anxious but now he's excited too! GrinSmile
