Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

Hep - love the optimism! Since TTC I think I know less about my cycle (was very regular, now all over the place), have decreased my exercise and feel rubbish as a result, HAVE started to drink more water Grin and discovered that I have a remarkable natural ability to pee in a cup HmmConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

iPatches · 13/03/2016 01:16

Ni - Starky is right, you have to ignore Ovia. She's full of nonsense. Everything you input is both a sign of conception and AF. Everything she points out if both is likely to make you more likely to conceive and wreck your changes ever conceiving naturally. She is not good for our mindset except on the days where she's telling me what I want to hear because she is a computer! Like eating one pomegranate salad is going to make a any difference to my fertility. The fact that I'm throwing away taking a multivitamin every single day isn't making any difference, Ovia, so a pomegranate isn't going to fix that and they're impossible to peel!

(If you hadn't guessed, I can't sleep)

Starky I really hope this is your month, fingers crossed.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 12/03/2016 23:01

Don't worry ni she started chunnering on about donor sperm to me earlier too see, even ovia blames my Dh!

I'm not being negative but I reckon it's only a matter of time before af shows up now.

I've been out for a few days & am just catching up.

It's so hard Lyssie someone at work has announced to everyone she's pregnant - even though she's only 7 weeks & she keeps smoking during her lunch break. It's hard work when you're doing everything right & it's still not working out.

Pugmummy87 · 12/03/2016 22:24

Lyssie i understand that feeling, i have another 4 friends/colleagues who are all due to give birth over the next few months. It's very trying when that's all you want too, but it not happening so far.

My BMI has crept up to a shocking number and i know that won't be helping.

Ni4444 · 12/03/2016 22:15

Ovia has taken a turn for the worse....she's started telling me about herbs that help fertility...and then she goes and lands the "some people need donor eggs and ivf to get pregnant" bomb on me!!! Cheers gurl 😤

Lyssie · 12/03/2016 22:13

Pug
I live in a neighborhood basically full of pregnant women... It drives me crazy every time I go outside. Hoping someday I'll be making someone else go crazy.

Pugmummy87 · 12/03/2016 22:02

2 old colleagues of mine (one of whom i trained with) have both had babies this week. Whilst i am happy for them, i'm getting frustrated as to when it will be my turn.

And i think AF is on her way and earlier than predicted. So much for being positive this month. Sad

HepKestrel · 12/03/2016 21:45

*is a lot

HepKestrel · 12/03/2016 21:45

Grin that is certainly a plus!

OH has a lot more patient than me. I will warn you now I will be very glum when my next birthday rolls around Sad

StarkyTheDirewolf · 12/03/2016 21:25

I cba symptom spotting, everything I've got going on is usual pre af stuff.
I'm knackered today so I've got no energy to be negative about it lol. Dh will be slightly disappointed this time I think. On the plus side, we've had a lot of banging sex! Grin

HepKestrel · 12/03/2016 21:08

vix sounds like great timing for you -
don't think too much about it and have a great time!

vixarooni · 12/03/2016 21:00

Hi everyone! I'm in the no man's land of coming off of period and waiting for ovulation. My patience is getting worse!

I'm going to be positive as a march hare this month. We are away over my fertile bit and there is a hottub!

HepKestrel · 12/03/2016 19:56

Hi starky

my boobs are less sore? I give up on the symptom spotting. For me - i just want to prepare for my AF mentally. its easier for me to be positive, i.e. next month- new chance ..... if i am wrong, it will be a nice surprise, but i stay mentally more chilled this way. (well.... thats the theory Smile)

We all need to do what works for us for each particular month.

This month has been a success for me because:

I am learning about my cycle
I have started to do more exercise - which can only help
I getting skilled at peeing in cups
I know I need to drink more water (really bad at this!)

I do think that as a group we are overdue another BFP so fx for all of us....

StarkyTheDirewolf · 12/03/2016 19:30

hep were virtually cycle twins. I'm cd 26 (33-42). I'm reckoning Cd33/34 for me. Although it could be any day soon I suppose. Crampy, sore all over boobs tenderness has migrated from just armpit area, to my entire boob area, so that's nice for me!

I don't want to put a bet on for you! I want your af not to come at all because bfp!

HepKestrel · 12/03/2016 19:15

cailler i love that way of thinking! I'll steal it from kwick too Wink

i've decided to have a bit more fun whilst waiting in the queue for the April bus....

roll up ... roll up.... who wants to place a bet on when AF arrives for me? winner gets (virtual) Cake!

place your bets!!

currently cd27, AF has arrived anytime from 28-38 days ......(post pill)

Cailler · 12/03/2016 17:59

iPatches I used to feel like that until I started using Kwicks positivity, every morning I've been waking up and thinking "ok, today I am one day closer to having my baby in my arms" it may not be for many months yet but we're all getting closer.

iPatches · 12/03/2016 17:49

Kwick - headaches can be a symptom but then I also get headaches when AF is arriving...don't stress, you'll know if you're pregnant soon enough.

Not having a great day. Had to work. Also my friend has just had a baby - of course I'm delighted for her but I'm so insanely jealous (which I will never tell her - no one knows we are trying). I just want to have a baby. We're 3 months down the line and no further than where we started. I feel so stupid for thinking this would just be simple. I'm knackard and can't gain the enthusiasm for another month of peeing in a dessert ramekin and hassling DH constantly not that he seems to mind. Sigh.

Kwick709 · 12/03/2016 16:09

Thanks elle will defo mention to instructor :)

starky wow you are even eloquent first thing in the morning! I love the conversation you had with your hubby this morning! I also laughed a lot which is wonderful as it is supposed to aid implantation

ni thanks for that! I live in Haringey - so maybe they have similar criteria. Will certainly look into if need to.

Have had a headache all day.... Apparently this could be a symptom... Help please I am going cray-cray!!!!

Ni4444 · 12/03/2016 16:00

Lovely I'm the same...my cat and I have an understanding. I absolutely hate being scratched so anytime she tried it at the start there was a reflex scream and banging on the floor/clapping hands loudly from me. She soon stopped!

Kwick don't let singledom put you off adoption....I worked for Islington council and relationship status or even sexual preference weren't exclusion criteria. I remember being impressed when I heard about that. So there are other options! Ps You're so impressive injecting yourself all the time...I can't even wax myself! Mental torture "ok, I'll do it now...no, wait...any second now...hold on.....argh I can't bring myself to do it!!!"

Gorgeous sunny day in the south of France! Sad it's my last day of hols!.. But looking forward to seeing OH...and getting back to some dtd!! 😉

StarkyTheDirewolf · 12/03/2016 14:52

My body clock was all over the place when I worked night shifts lucky it really didn't do me any favours! Plus, eating at funny times, alcohol etc. But I honestly think it's the luck of the draw with fertility to be honest. A few of the girls who were working the same pattern as me became pregnant very quickly after deciding to ttc. There were also a couple of girls who had some little unplanned surprises! But I'm not sure if that's a comfort or a bad thing! Confused

ElleSarcasmo · 12/03/2016 14:04

Haha Starky, love the guilt-inducing uniform washing! He will feel soo bad!

LovelyFishy · 12/03/2016 13:49

Hep I tell my cats "if you bite me, I'm biting back". We have the most peaceful relationship!

Loved reading your comments as you read all the threads Kwick, all fingers still crossed!

At 6.12am today I had already started work. Sad I do worry about shift work mucking with my fertility, I know how bad everyone says shift work is for you anyway! Any thoughts ladies?

StarkyTheDirewolf · 12/03/2016 12:48

It's a bloody joke canters and so annoying! And im so tired today I think I'm erring on the side of emotional! And I don't need that! Grin how many dpo are you?

Canters15 · 12/03/2016 12:33

Hahahahaha, just like PMS symptoms can mean pregnancy or AF starky?! Bloody uterus. Always mixing things up. So much cray-cray here already, trying not to read too much into it and failing!
