Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

Hi all,

Can I join? I'm 27, TTC 1, Cycle 1, CD8. I've been lurking for a while as we were not planning to try until later in the year but DH changed his mind. Think DH might be like a frightened rabbit, despite his excitement, so I'm hoping I can freak out here and remain unflappable about the whole business in real life!

Jamjar12 · 14/03/2016 06:23

Yep, I'm the Broadstairs beach hut owner!

Lyssie · 13/03/2016 23:48

Congrats Canters!!!!! :D

RaeSkywalker · 13/03/2016 22:28

vix that's really helpful, thank you!

I love Broadstairs. Also Leeds Castle! And spent many a happy day at the outlet shopping place in Ashford.

vixarooni · 13/03/2016 22:16

I haven't been there a great deal but it is lovely. Folkfest was probably the last time. I'm quite a whitstable/deal girl. Can't beat a good walk on St Margaret's at cliffe too. I moved back to Kent from Lancashire last year so I'm still in Kent bliss mode!

Canters15 · 13/03/2016 22:03

Vix- the Moroccan is amazing- definitely go! I need a good excuse to go back, will have to convince DH we need a day trip. Broadstairs also lovely!

vixarooni · 13/03/2016 21:54

This is the 1st graph I did last month, with a few bumps along the way. I log our sexy times during the fertile week and when I've had the egg white biz. I gave up temping two days before my period started because I knew I wasn't preggers and the truth hurt. But it's great to see my cycle on paper. I do it online now, I found the app called ovagraph so I chart on there (untill I can print them, then I'll do that) hopefully this month will be better and without the two anomalies!

Thank you! I'll definitely buy it if AF turns up Smile

vixarooni · 13/03/2016 21:44

Sorry, I forgot to mention the name! Here it is

Sorry to sound sense vix- which book?

vixarooni · 13/03/2016 21:13

No way jamjar I'm thinking an upduffed meet up in Canterbury is on the cards! Are you the broadstairs beach hut owner?

rae lush thing with temping is that it gives you a window into the workings of downstairs. I love it! Defo get the book if you haven't already

RaeSkywalker · 13/03/2016 20:51

Thanks jamjar, that's how I'll sell it to DH I think!

Can't believe how many people have lived/ do live/ live in the vicinity of Canterbury!

Jamjar12 · 13/03/2016 20:36

I haven't used OPKs this month and even without using Ovia or FF, I could tell when I was ovulating because I could recognise the signs from when I was tracking it all before. I'd definitely recommend trying OPKs Rae, even if just for a month to help you recognise the signs! (Though I hope obviously you don't need to because you're upduffed already!)

I'm just outside of Canterbury!

RaeSkywalker · 13/03/2016 20:05

vix I don't temp but think I will try if we aren't lucky in the next couple of months. I'm not even using opks at the moment which is worrying me- I don't even know if I'm ovulating. Opks are definitely being purchased in the next few days if AF arrives!

vixarooni · 13/03/2016 19:42

rae such a bum. I take it you don't temp? I often wonder with periods if its a bit "a watched kettle never boils* however that saying goes. Mine was late as you know, and for no reason what so ever. Hope you get out of limbo soon.

Lots of Canterbury people! I know that Moroccan, is it down a side street in town? I've never been but heard good things canters

RaeSkywalker · 13/03/2016 19:23

Thanks Kwick. I did use FMU on Saturday last week which was when AF was due but haven't since. I do think AF is on her way so I think I'll wait another day to see if anything happens- if not I'll buy a FRER after work tomorrow and test with FMU on Tuesday morning. It's getting me down a bit now, I'm worried about why my cycles have suddenly become so much longer.

Kwick709 · 13/03/2016 19:14

rae I do not want to mess with your mind but you really should use FMU for testing. Maybe if no af in a couple more days test with FMU and a FRER?

Feefeefs · 13/03/2016 18:53

I'm about to head into ISW and going on holidays Smile got a high flashy smilie on clear blue ovulation test today which is high but not peak fertilitySmile

Feefeefs · 13/03/2016 18:52

Thanks elle.

RaeSkywalker · 13/03/2016 17:28

Starky I took another on Wednesday night after work (Tesco own brand). BFN- wee was quite diluted but surely it would register as a positive by then if I was harbouring a bean? I was sure that AF would turn up yesterday, genuinely baffled by what's going on!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 13/03/2016 17:09

Have you done any more tests rae ? I've got my fx it's a bean and not af playing games with you. But I can sympathise with the long cycle irritation. Especially if you're not expecting it. Flowers

Congratulations canters! Lovely news. I went to uni there and I do really miss it. Know what you mean about the traffic though!

I'm really fed up! Now 8 days late. Boobs have been sore for the last 2 days, which is unusual (but not unheard of) for me. Just want AF to turn up now. I have no idea where my nice predictable 29 day cycles have gone Sad

HepKestrel · 13/03/2016 16:03

Congratulations canters!

Canters15 · 13/03/2016 15:00

Kwick- I am also an able horse riding type, so you're not far wrong!

Vix- yes it is one perpetual traffic jam isn't it? There's a really lovely Moroccan restaurant there though, which was my favourite....

Jam- do not po that stick! I got a bfn at 9dpo which made me unreasonably sad and then I drank wine. Bad.

I would like to remind the symptoms spotters I had no symptoms this month and do not feel preg at all! Turns out symptoms mean diddly and those pissy sticks don't lie....

vixarooni · 13/03/2016 14:24

I don't live there now either canters but I'm only 20 mins away in a village! I tend to avoid it now because of the traffic. That sounds terribly old I know!

I don't think I have vit c, but I work in a pharmacy of sorts so i'll have to take a few out while I'm at work!
