Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

HepKestrel · 15/03/2016 06:46

Some women naturally have less hcg in their urine.

Pugmummy87 · 15/03/2016 06:44

Definitely see a second line there rae !

RaeSkywalker · 15/03/2016 06:37

I think it's weird that it's so faint too- I'm 10 days late! DH wants me to see a dr today because of the cramps. he also wouldn't let me use another test- says I need to save it for tomorrow!

HepKestrel · 15/03/2016 06:27

Its interesting that its so faint. But its still a clear positive!! Explains why you had bfns before

Cailler · 15/03/2016 06:13

Congratulations Rae that's a second line! Definitely not going crazy

RaeSkywalker · 15/03/2016 06:09

Ahhh! I don't quite know what to do with myself! I also don't quite know whether to trust the brand of test!

HepKestrel · 15/03/2016 06:06

Congratulations rae! I see 2 lines!

RaeSkywalker · 15/03/2016 06:01

Can you all look at this photo for me and tell me I'm not going crazy? Confused

lyssie eww..

AF here....

Lyssie · 15/03/2016 02:48

Starky
I used to have no back spots... After birth control they appeared! Now DH finds them and picks at them

StarkyTheDirewolf · 15/03/2016 00:30

Why do spots on my back only appear in places where I can't reach them?! It's unbelievably frustrating!

OP posts:
StarkyTheDirewolf · 14/03/2016 22:15

Because the tww is in dog years pug only plausible explanation. I'm somewhere between 9-11 dpo. Reckon I've probably got a few more days before af shows up.

OP posts:
Pugmummy87 · 14/03/2016 21:49

Nothing much to report here, about 12-13dpo now, so arseholey fucknuts due anytime soon. Still have sore boobs, keep getting weird stabby sensations in lower tummy.

Why does the tww drag so much?!

vixarooni · 14/03/2016 21:36

My dad is yorkshrian canters we are also going that way next week. There's a dog cafe we go to in hebden, and oh and I like to walk ingleton (had one of our first dates there) We bought a house up there and rent it out now, its roughly £700 a month more expensive down here as renters than up north. So annoying, but the family pull was strong!

rae how the hell are you coping? I almost feel like I want you to test right now so I know!!!

jam she had her child relatively young, and she's putting her experience on to you which I think would be quite different. I try to enjoy the process when I can, to know we are trying and that's always one step closer than the alternative! I'm quite a fan of the right time too, I often imagine the people I wouldn't have met if I had been born at another time (I'm a bit odd!)

vixarooni · 14/03/2016 21:21

inspector Its probably not so bad as you'd think temping. I wake up, pop it in, wait and then turn it off. I generally log it in the evening when I put my pjamas on. Your temp will go up by a certain amount if you don't keep to the same time roughly, but i doubt it will affect it a great deal. I find it helps me feel a bit more proactive when TTC! I've always wanted to see the seals, never done it! You can get a boat from sandwich to see them.

sorry cat-on-keyboard. I think that is cat for hello. nope I was wrong, its cat for "stop typing and feed me."

(i will now step away from crazy-cat-lady-level)

lucky i think its still too early for you too.

kwick good news on your drug levels!

RaeSkywalker · 14/03/2016 20:42

Glad to hear they've changed your mess and aren't too worried Kwick have everything crossed for you!

Starky did it feel weird smarting it out loud? I haven't told anyone. Will probably crack eventually though!

Kwick709 · 14/03/2016 19:54

LOL hep feel sorry for your kittykat but also for the vet. I guess that type of attack must be an occupational hazard for a vet.

LovelyFishy · 14/03/2016 19:53

Oooh I know what you mean Jam, damn those people who can get pregnant quickly! But then you feel bad for being mean and end up going even crazier!

Speaking of going crazy I need help. I've started symptom spotting when I know it's all in my mind, it's too early. Cd 20, 6 dpo I think? I have sore boobs, which I normally get before AF so this is a bit early. I also have Lumpy Boob Syndrome - not the actual name of course, but I've forgotten what my doctor called it! I have a non-dangerous lump that sometimes gets more painful, but the doctor did say it'd probably get more painful if I got pregnant. Argh!!

HepKestrel · 14/03/2016 19:48

Rae i think if no news by friday, its not unreasonable to make a gp appointment. Its a good way of making AF turn up !

grumpy-old-vampire-cat has lost too much weight, so blood test booked for wednesday Sad. He is looking skinny, but he is his normal mischievous self. Am feeling guilty for not realising how much he had lost Confused.

Normal vet is off on holidays, so there is a big red flag in his notes to warn the unlucky sod who has to get the blood! Sedation might be required.... before the procedure for the cat, and after for the vet Wink

Kwick709 · 14/03/2016 19:48

kat I am not sure if any of us can be trusted with list except you Wink Sunday is not THAT far away...

Rae I have never heard of Early Bird either but sounds promising... best of luck with FMU tomorrow!

Lucky you jamjar - I love doggies.

So my meds have been changed - bum injection is now every day and different drug. Nurse reassured me that low levels of progesterone would not have impacted implantation if that were set to happen.
PMA back in action!

Jamjar12 · 14/03/2016 19:38

I swear time moves so slowly in the 2ww!

I got frustrated with one of my best friends today- shes 26, been with her partner about 5 years and has a lovely 2 year old boy. She literally decided one day to start trying, 2 days later decided she didn't want a baby yet but lo and behold, was with child from literally 1 night. She was trying to tell me that I don't know what I'm letting myself in for and I'm getting too worked up about wanting a baby but it's so hard when you've been desperately broody for about 8 years! We've only been married about 7 months and done everything 'properly' but I can't help being impatient and picturing myself with a baby every waking moment of the day!

On a positive note, I'm dog sitting for my parents so he's lying across my feet ATM making me feel loved :)
