Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

hello moose glad you're feeling better - I've got this cold and it's an absolute stinker. I feel like I'm underwater. Hope your oh brightens up soon, perhaps a laid back comforting get well soon shag might help? If such a thing exists!

confused seems the jury is out on opks in TWW. Think they can show hcg but can also precede AF.

Confusedcat1 · 15/03/2016 13:27

That's what i thought hep will be interesting to see if it continues surging....

HepKestrel · 15/03/2016 13:19

cat yes too early realistically

RaeSkywalker · 15/03/2016 13:02

Thank you everyone! And thanks for the reassurance r.e cramps. Peaches I think I must be about 5 weeks too.

I'm still not trusting the 'brand I've never heard of' pregnancy test, might get a Clearblue or FRER in a few days.

Lisa I will pop over soon Smile

Confusedcat1 · 15/03/2016 12:57

Ok, so I'm 7dpo. Yesterday my opk was so light it had almost disappeared completely. Today it's gone dark again! Not positive, but dark like it is about to go positive again!! I know opks can pick up hcg but wouldn't that be too early?

StarkyTheDirewolf · 15/03/2016 11:05

Congratulations rae 🍼💐🍰🎊🎉🌹 fantastic news!

Congrats rae and welcome back all the ladies who've been on their jollies!!

Finally starting to feel human and sociable again after the horrendous flu/cold all last week. Had a chat with DP about every other day DTD over ISW and had him all agreed and ready for action from Sunday - only for him to then get the dreaded lurgy too!!! Aaaargh.... So we're now two days into FW with zero action! I can't really blame him though, it wiped me out last week and I wouldn't have fancied doing it when I was sick, so I guess I'm just going to have to let this one slide and hope he gets better quickly!!!! We don't seem to be very good at DTD at the right time - which is not going to get us anywhere!! I've not even bothered OPKing as I think it'll stress me out more if he's still too ill to do it!

Peaches8Posies · 15/03/2016 10:29

starky actually laughed out loud at the 2ww dog yes comment. Yes, I think your own to something here 😊

ever glad you enjoyed your break

hep fx the easter breaks lucky for you.

Peaches8Posies · 15/03/2016 10:25

Morning ladies ☺

Congratulations rae it wasn't until I took a frer I got my positive after 3 bfn IC. and it's was faint too although I was only 3 days late. Iv had horrible cramps too but it's usually a sign of things moving in to place. they are less noticeable now. I'm about 5 weeks.

LisaTheGreek · 15/03/2016 09:33

Congratulations Rae! Such lovely news in the morning!

Come over to the grads board when you're ready - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/antenatal_clubs/2577485-Thread-3-TTC-1-Grads-thread-No-TMI-is-too-much-no-question-too-stupid?msgid=59867638

SuchaJem · 15/03/2016 09:21

flash I'm sold. You should be on commission Grin

SuchaJem · 15/03/2016 09:18

Hug elle perhaps being more relaxed might help. I was obsessive over opks this month and stressed out forcing DTD every day - not a nice approach really and probably caused us both stress which is not conducive for a bfp. I think your cycle is close to mine - so about 5dpo? Fx for you xx

Flashinthepan · 15/03/2016 09:17

They have folic acid, B6, vitamin D and zinc (and 4 or 5 other things like selenium, all of which I think are slightly harder to get enough of from diet alone). Apparently B6 improves fertility in that it lengthens the luteal phase, and my cycles were only about 24 days after coming off the pill, but they have now lengthened to 27/28 again. They also come in a little handy pack that looks like the Pill, with dates on. I don't work for Seven Seas by the way, just get excited over silly little things!

HepKestrel · 15/03/2016 09:07

flash not me. What do they actually contain? I take folic acid + vit d.

Flashinthepan · 15/03/2016 09:05

Congratulations Rae! Lovely news. As its first month of trying for me I'm just tracking my cycle with Clue and I'm taking the Seven Seas Trying for a Baby vitamins. When I bought them home DH said "well they're not very subtle are they?" Anyone else used them?

ElleSarcasmo · 15/03/2016 08:53

Sorry about AF Hep.

Love hearing about your cats...I really want one! We are moving soon so hopefully we can get a fur baby too.

I have been really crap this month...keep forgetting to do my temps, never caught a peak OPK, could have dtd a lot more...hope I haven't ruined my chances Sad

ElleSarcasmo · 15/03/2016 08:50

Congratulations Rae! Lovely news! Flowers I've always liked Leia for a girl Wink. Wren is a lovely name!

Ever glad you had a nice break. Hopefully some good Doreens ended up in the right place!

Kat how is your break going? Hope you are managing some sneaky action!

Ni4444 · 15/03/2016 08:41

Lovely news to wake up to Rae! Congratulations to you! Flowers

Welcome back Ever! Glad you had a fabulous time!! I'm trying to decide where to book my next holiday!!

HepKestrel · 15/03/2016 08:34

So i'm feeling good, even though AF is here.

Had a look at my calendar, even though I ovulated early, AF was bang on schedule, so it looks like i had one errant cycle.

FW looks like it will coincide nicely with the easter break, so pretty good access to Doreen. Grin

I will opk again this month as I am still learning my cycle. The geek in me is curious to know if I always ovulate early ? Hmm

The other observation I have for the post-cycle-review, is that my experiment in taking EPO correlated with a month where I observed no EWCM??

Kat - when you catch up, put me down for the 14th April!

RaeSkywalker · 15/03/2016 08:28

Thank you!

Kwick you laugh, but one of DH's favourite names is Wren. I haven't reminded him that it's a character yet (albeit spelled differently) Might choose to withhold that information Grin

Confusedcat1 · 15/03/2016 08:17

Congrats rae that's two more of our little bunch that we can bundle off to the grads! Grin

Kwick709 · 15/03/2016 08:06

rae this is fabulous news!!!! Well done!! Star will you be going down star wars route for names?

starky I just read your latest installment - really ace :)

RaeSkywalker · 15/03/2016 07:38

Thank you all Smile

Canters15 · 15/03/2016 07:23

Congrats Rae!! Fab news. Cramps are totally normally btw, I had some yesterday that made me double over... It's just the uterus stretching.

SuchaJem · 15/03/2016 07:19

Congratulations rae!
