Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

Kwick this is the best news ever!!! AND Elle too - so happy for both of you!!!

Kwick you are right t be so sensible about it, but don't let it stop you being grateful for these moments. If you can, try to focus on what is happening to you right now, and not to get carried away dreaming about what your baby will look like - don't miss this precious time by mentally being 9 months ahead! And whilst looking after yourself is paramount, the most important thing is to nourish yourself. Naturally by doing this you will cut out any harmful or unhealthy habits as you seek to create the most nourishing environment for your embryo, without stress or force. Good luck to you and your seedling GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Ni you defo aren't the last one! and ever these feelings are normal, so don't be hard on yourself. Give yourself a little bit of time to experience these emotions, and then pick up and carry on. We are all here with you.

Flashinthepan · 23/03/2016 09:17

Morning everyone. Congratulations Elle! Sorry for messing up your lovely list Kat but could you put me on for the 2nd of April?

Also, I'm having a really weird tww, after DTD on Sunday (1 or 2 DPO) I had a bit of bleeding, and then its kindof continued since then, nothing super heavy, but dark red/brown when I wipe (sorry for TMI). Just wondering if anyone else has experienced mid cycle bleeding like that as its not something I've had before and not due AF until April the 2nd?

KatOnATinRo0f · 23/03/2016 08:50

Ni...... You aren't the only original :(
Here I am... Waiting for AF so I can start cycle 9.

Ni4444 · 23/03/2016 08:48

Yay Elle!!!!! Flowers Flowers Flowers
..hmm I think I am now the last of the originals without a bfp-wah 😭 What I do have today is serious ovary pain! O is due! We dtd Mon, will dtd tonight (OH says every second day only! Boo!) so fingers crossed it happens!

Thanks Lara for those stats. Ever those stats are very much backed up by research...mostly couples get pregnant within a year so I'm trying to accept it could take that long. If it doesn't happen then, I'll freak out!! See...rational and calm, emotional and panicked all in one...my lucky OH!

HepKestrel · 23/03/2016 08:42

congratulations elle

SuchaJem · 23/03/2016 08:41

Thanks for the update kat look at all those lovely grads :)

SuchaJem · 23/03/2016 08:40

Yes elle!!!!! I had a feeling you were! :) fantastic news lovely.

pug agree that does sound like a cp, how frustrating but to echo Elle it's a good sign and hopefully next month will stick for you.

ever feel better soon xx I think as someone else described themselves as naturally pessimistic I'm definitely the opposite. Glass half full person, just must be the way I'm made up.

I wish I could join the brimming bubbling bfp pot today but I have no news! No AF, no nothing.

lyssie found myself nodding your post - my boobs aren't as sore as usual, and I've got loads of cm too, and I said to DH this am I'm not as bloated as usual.

Hmmm, I've been convinced all TWW that it hasn't happened and now dangerous dangerous hope is starting to creep in! That means AF will most likely show any min! 🙄

Kwick709 · 23/03/2016 08:26

ellesarcasmo CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am chuffed for you!!!! Another November baby!!!!

Feefeefs · 23/03/2016 08:17

Congratulations Elle! Definitely a lucky month! Back to work today Sad

Jamjar12 · 23/03/2016 08:08

Elle, that's exactly how I felt! It's bizarre because you feel like you've turned into a completely different person overnight but people really don't notice! Good luck getting through your day! (I cried at how cute my rabbit was this morning even though I see him every day and nothing was different today lol)

I am feeling way more emotional than I expected and cried in the car on the way to work at:
-the cute baby lambs in the fields
-songs on the radio (possibly Adele)
-the news about Belgium
-being pregnant!

So not me! How to be normal at work?! Feel like everyone will know!

ElleSarcasmo · 23/03/2016 07:57

Thanks guys Smile really thought we didn't have a chance this month. I did wake DH, he said 'Well done Elle'! He was a bit sleepy though!

Ever hope you're not going back to work with a temperature? Are you dosed up with paracetamol?

Ctul hope that is good news about your bloods and your cycle? 🍀

Pug it sounds like it might have been a chemical? Hope you are feeling ok. It probably is a good sign that everything's working ok? 🍀

LisaTheGreek · 23/03/2016 07:56

What an incredible morning! Kwick and Elle!

Congratulations both, that's such fantastic news! I'm actually sitting here smiling away to myself about it Grin, I'm so happy for you both!

LaraG13 · 23/03/2016 07:24

Just poking my head over here to see how you all are. Huge congrats elle and Kwick! Amazing news and fx for a healthy 8 months ahead.

Sorry to hear you're feeling quite negative ever. If you are looking for rational thinking based on scientific evidence, then positivity is the most rational mindset based on the stats. There are never any absolutes in life and of course there's a chance of the worst happening, but when you look at the statistics it makes good logical sense to assume that you will get pregnant:

20%will conceive within one month
70% will conceive within six months
85% will conceive within one year
90% will conceive within 18 months
95% will conceive within two years

The evidence says your chances are really good. But I totally understand that it's hard to keep sight of that 💐

Pugmummy87 · 23/03/2016 07:19

Congratulations elle

So many bfps! I hope some of this rubs off on me this cycle!
Woke up this morning cd6, normally af would have finished by now, maybe some spotting, but no, heaviest flow I've had all week with really horrid cramps. My temperature only finally dropped to normal af levels yesterday as well. Beginning to wonder whether I had a chemical pregnancy this month after getting that faint 2nd line Friday and then a bfn as this is all very unusual for me. Suppose I will never know for sure. Not sure whether to find that reassuring or not!

Ever I am very much practical about these kind of things, I hate the ttc lottery, I hate the fact I have a condition which does affect fertility and makes my chances even less likely. However, I do see women in my job who have struggled for years to get pregnant, have been through countless fertility treatments and then miraculously do fall pregnant naturally after 'giving up'. So I suppose that gives me some hope.

Sadly, naturally I am a bit of a pessimist by nature (which I hate), so I find it really hard to remain optimistic. I admire those that do I really do.

Mileymoocow · 23/03/2016 07:18

Ok ok ok I genuinely couldn't be grinning harder this morning! What amazing news, ladies!

kwick I KNEW you were preggo!!!!!!! Congratulations lovely, you deserve this so much!

And elle what brilliant news!!! Congratulations to you too.

Here's to a healthy 8 months ahead

Evergreen15 · 23/03/2016 07:00

And yes Jam, cycle 5 Confused

Evergreen15 · 23/03/2016 07:00

Jam no you didnt offend!!! No!! I think your way of seeing things is SO much better and I wish I could see things that way! So I ask to see if people give a reason to be able to have that attitude as well... But I can't Sad. I am trying... Don't think your way is wrong lovely SmileThanks.
I think optimism is better Smile
I try Confused but it is hard.
Hugs, you are lovely SmileThanks

Evergreen15 · 23/03/2016 06:53

Anyone else I missed ? ( I have been feverish but I am back to work today!)

Guys you three will need a bigger Christmas tree GrinGrinGrin

Jamjar12 · 23/03/2016 06:23

I understand Ever, I hope I haven't upset or offended you. You're cycle 4 or 5 right? That's the same as me and I know how long that feels when you're waiting for this pretty much impossible miracle to happen. I truly hope it happens to you soon, please don't lose hope. I don't know what's worse, being a hopeless optimistic or an educated pessimist- either way sucks when AF comes around! ThanksThanks

A huge congratulations to you, Elle! Wonderful news. Did you wake up your partner? I asked my DH last night if he'd rather I had told him in a slightly more organised and special way and he was just like, why what's the point? Haha, men!

RaeSkywalker · 23/03/2016 06:17

Did you wake your DH? I woke mine up, he took one look at the test and went "well it's not a very strong line is it?"

Hmm

He is excited now. He'd just never seen a positive test before. I was not impressed though!

RaeSkywalker · 23/03/2016 06:15

Congratulations Elle Flowers

ElleSarcasmo · 23/03/2016 05:54

So excited! Might have to wake DH and tell him! Btw don't trust Internet cheapies-the top stick in the photo is an IC from the first FMU as the positive (crap sainsbury test...no frer, rookies error!) and the second is an OPK.

Lyssie Jem and Confused still have fx for you!!
