Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

It's all relative :) x

Flashinthepan · 17/03/2016 21:47

I know how ungrateful it must sound when I have a house round here and I know loads of people who would love to be here but I'd rather not be and its hard to make your peace with the sacrifices for something you didn't choose and would happily give up!

SuchaJem · 17/03/2016 21:42

jam bless 😌

flash I feel your pain. Massive London living frustration all round

Flashinthepan · 17/03/2016 21:38

So the distraction I was looking for came in the form of neighbour potentially cocking up our plans for a loft conversion. So thoroughly fed up of living like sardines in the stupid London bubble where everything costs too much just because DH prefers this one particular office even though we're near none of our friends or family! Sorry for the rant. Really hope you get a super pink line tomorrow pug

Jamjar12 · 17/03/2016 20:55

Ooh Pug, I think I can see a line maybe?

Jem, that's exactly what it's like! I actually walked into our staff room at one point when it was empty and just said I'm pregnant! To myself, just to get it off my chest lol.

I feel a little bad now as I had talked about trying for a baby with a few friends and one just sent me a really lovely supportive message saying she hopes it happens soon for me etc. I've just had to text back as if I'm waiting- I'm such a bad liar and I hate lying outright :(

SuchaJem · 17/03/2016 20:36

Oh hep I hope your kitty cat is okay :( 18 is a really good age, our old family cat Oscar made it happily to 19.

Hello kav that is a promising sign. I'm on cycle three too :) how old are you? It's nice getting positive anecdotes from others like that isn't it

Thanks jam :) I can totally imagine going into work feeling like that or that you must just blurt out IM PREGNANT!!!

stark I'm on cd 23. Keep prodding my boobs today but nothing - they usually are sore by now for AF so maybe that's something to go on. Fx tightly for you not to get AF.

pug eek!! Fx for you tomorrow morning :)

iPatches · 17/03/2016 19:33

Pug - I can sort of see a line but unless it appeared during the wait time (usually about 10 minutes), you can't be sure of anything so better get ready to test again in the morning! How exciting for you!

iPatches · 17/03/2016 19:32

Hello all. I'm still around. I am bored - AF arrived 8 days ago but I did have cramps for aaaages before that because she was thoughtlessly 5 days late. Anyway she's gone now and so I'm just sitting around waiting to ovulate. So far nothing.

5tardusty · 17/03/2016 19:32

Good luck Pug- that looks like a line to me!

InspectorPenguin · 17/03/2016 18:28

I forgot to say congrats to all the recent BFPs! Blush
I blame my phone as it doesn't log me in automatically like my PC does and I can't remember my password... I wish you all a very happy and uneventful 9 months!

Also, Harriet well done on your 10k - especially what you went through. I usually do lots of exercise but have really let it slip these last few weeks for various reasons. No way could I do one in a halfway decent time right now :(

And Hep I really hope your grumpy cat is okay. I know how awful it is when they get ill so I hope you get some good news. Sounds like he's feeling alright in himself at the moment though which is the main thing.

Pug Fingers crossed for another test in the morning!

Pugmummy87 · 17/03/2016 17:52

I'm cd29 today, 15 dpo, possibly 16dpo.
Not really had any symptoms.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 17/03/2016 17:45

jem don't be disheartened mate! What cd are you on?

pug Im going to Google evaps of frers because I've never seen one. And I see a line. What cd are you on?

Lol at your very traumatic prawn dream jam sounds awful ,and bit just because I hate shelfish!

I'm crampy today. Blergh! Really don't want af to show up!

Pugmummy87 · 17/03/2016 17:42

That test was with fmu (sorry forgot to say). I do usually get brown before red too.
Jus another thing to send me crazy!

HepKestrel · 17/03/2016 17:32

sorry pug you have answered your own question Smile
wait for fmu

sometimes AF (for me) starts brown.

Pugmummy87 · 17/03/2016 17:25

Ok, af due today and I woke up with nada, not even a hint of brown discharge. Temp still high so thought sod it, may as well test. Bfn, test chucked in bin after 15 minutes.
However, this afternoon, had to fish something out of the bin, when the test caught my eye and I noticed another line, very faint. Here's a pic.
I wondered if it's an evap line? Although I thought they were usually grey and this definitely looks more pink (picture is not the best).
I've noticed more brownish discharge over the rest of today, so maybe it's a chemical?

I know you shouldn't read the test after 10 minutes, so slapped hand here.

I can't for one second believe it's because I'm actually pregnant.

I'm gonna have to Poas again aren't I?

Jamjar12 · 17/03/2016 17:14

It was so hard just going to work today and acting like nothing's different! I feel like I've got a flashing neon sign above my head.

Lol Flash! I also had the weirdest dream last night that I was at a party and being pressured into eating prawns because I couldn't tell people I was pregnant lol. But I was having to stuff my face with them. It was very traumatic!

It might still happen Jem, don't give up!! We've had lots of people who haven't had even the shadow of a symptom this early.

Definitely does Fx! But then it's so much down to luck anyway that it might just be a coincidence it worked this month???!!!

Kat, yeah I did that. Very almost booked a spa weekend with my mum and a Disney Paris trip with my sister, thinking what the hell? I'm not going to lie, I'm a little disappointed we can't do Disney. What's the rule with rides?!

kavanaughkj · 17/03/2016 16:53

Congrats jamjar and Caillier! I'm learning (gradually) to calm down a bit about the whole process - I'm on cycle 3 now and got far too excited on the first two. Might even indulge in a glass or two of wine :)

Body is throwing me weird curveballs at the moment - I had a ton of EWCM this morning and high fertility indications on the ovulation monitor (negative OPK though) but my temperature zoomed up this morning way earlier than expected ... trying not to think too much about it and at least it's information doctors can use if I have to go to them down the line. I think the main thing that's stressing me out is my age - people keep telling me they know of women who got pregnant no problem at all at advanced ages but there's always this little voice in my head that's whining about why isn't it meeee yet?

HepKestrel · 17/03/2016 16:04

I am almost waving goodbye to the witch and will crack out the opk strips tomorrow or saturday.

I have a distraction from ttc at the moment. grumpy-old-vampire-cat's checkup at the vet didn't go well. He has lost a lot of weight (much more than i thought, so naturally i feel guilty for not making appointment earlier).

urine test was inconclusive (possible atypical cells?), so just waiting for blood test. I know he is old (18 years). not sure it makes it much easier. Stoopid cat. The good news is he is still eating and playing with his toys, so he is not is any distress/discomfort (i hope).

SuchaJem · 17/03/2016 15:56

I think that's totally normal on your first cycle flash - to suddenly not be avoiding pregnancy is such a mental shift. All those years trying not to made me think well obviously it'll happen right away, even when you know it might not.

I think there's as much chance as it happening on your first cycle as any though? It roughly 25% each go. Not a cumulative effect! So you never know.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 17/03/2016 15:37

flash only advice, just don't think about it! Grin There's nothing you can do either way so might aswell enjoy it! Ignore ovia, don't look up anything on Google because somewhere in the world at least one woman will have had a bfp with 'my left tit has fallen off and I've gone permenantly cross eyed. 11 dpo?' Just don't convince yourself you're pregnant, and it does go faster that way I reckon too!

jem I might test at cd 33 or cd 35 if af doesn't show up early. Just to have something to look forward to. Might as well treat myself!

Anyone heard anything off kwick got my fx for you!

Flashinthepan · 17/03/2016 15:32

Oh only CD 11, haven't even ovulated yet, but I feel completely certain that I will be pregnant this time or never (both of which are of course the extremes of madness on my part). I swore I would be totally relaxed and just see what happened, but then realised it was sort of impossible to do that as having spent my whole life trying not to get pregnant, I was now trying and its hard to ignore that fact! I think I just need a project to distract me, and potentially our loft conversion is starting in 2 weeks, so I hope that will keep me entertained (dusty and tearing my hair out more like it!)

SuchaJem · 17/03/2016 14:56

starky cd31 and still a week until AF? I don't know how you do it mate. Glad to hear blog update coming soon.

flash the first two cycles I was mental - completely convinced myself I was pregnant. Third cycle now and I feel more like - probably not, will probably take ages - more resigned to the process. What CD are you on?

Flashinthepan · 17/03/2016 14:28

Anyone doing anything exciting this month on a non-TTC front? What do you do in the 2WW to stop from stressing? AF always seemed to come round very quickly without warning but I sense that may not be the case now.

HepKestrel · 17/03/2016 14:22

am keeping my fx for you starky

RaeSkywalker · 17/03/2016 13:59

Congrats Jam!
