rather than all the risky subterfuge, just tell him you've stopped taking the pill, and it's up to him to sort out contraception. sooner or later I expect he will be a bit careless about condoms, and you may well get the result you want anyway.

Hmmmmm I can't say I would be impressed with that if I was your other half. There must be a good reason for him not to want another child even if you do and as hard as it must be, surely by doing this you risk losing him altogether? Is it something you've discussed to the death or will he not talk about it at all?
