I thought I may as well start up the April bus since af rudely kicked me off the February bus, and my dh isn't here for March!

Been ttc #4 since September last year. Tricky as dh works abroad so much! I think I'm due to ov on the 3rd of April and dh is home on the 1st, so fx we catch it! I'll be testing round about 17th April.

Anyone else ready to hop on board to keep me company? I have a large bag of mini eggs to share Grin

Tabitha78 · 30/03/2016 16:53

Congratulations baby!!

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 30/03/2016 16:46

baby! Whoop whoop!!!!!!!

samk15 · 30/03/2016 16:20

Hi Nottalotta

AhThank you for that. So my stats are

Age: 38
Ttc: #1
Cd:26

AF should arrive tomorrow so won't bother testing yet.

I conceived very easily last time. About 2-3 months after trying and then 6 weeks after mmc.

It is a proper roller coaster ride, it gets me very down as I'm sure it does a lot of people.

How long have you been ttc with #2?

TryingToStayRational · 30/03/2016 16:05

Hi folks, hope you don't mind me hopping on too. I've got one of those Lindor bunnies - mmmmm! I'm fairly new to this game. Before we started trying I was all "let's just see if it happens and not get too obsessed" but I have to admit I have become just a little bit excited about the whole thing and am temp charting, CM recording, OPKing and updating Glow every day. I'm a scientist so I can't help getting a bit geeky!

Stats are:
Age: 34
Ttc#1
Cycle:2
Ov: 26th March
Etd: 9th April if I don't crack earlier!

Good luck to everyone Smile

weechops · 30/03/2016 15:58

Oh my gosh baby !!!!!! Argh congratulations lovely!

I have a free evening so I can go through the thread and do a stats list later. Looking forward to adding our first bfp!!!

Woop!

No more holiday vino for you. 🎊

babyinthacorner · 30/03/2016 14:57

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!

No April Fools, just bfp's please! April BFP bus!!
Sparrowlegs248 · 30/03/2016 13:35

Missed a bit, you would also put

C1 for cycle 1.

Sparrowlegs248 · 30/03/2016 13:31

Each bus had a stats list which people could be added to, like this:

Nottalotta, Ttc #2, Etd 1st April.

So it was easy to keep track of who was testing when etc.

Sorry re your mmc. It's such a roller-coaster isn't it? Did you conceive quite easily? Took me two years last time but hoping pregnancy has kick started things for me!

GiraffesCantDoMentalArithmetic · 30/03/2016 12:46

I don't think the buses do stats lists anymore

samk15 · 30/03/2016 11:38

Hi Nottalotta

What's a stats list if you don't mind me asking?

Sounds promising that we are considered Spring chickens Smile

Sparrowlegs248 · 30/03/2016 10:59

I'm 38 too Sam we had an 'old bird's Ttc thread last time. I was one of the youngest.

Is there a stats list or are they not done anymore?

samk15 · 30/03/2016 09:56

I'll tell you all a little bit about my story. I am 38 years old ( so quite late in the game!) last year I had 2 consecutive mmc which completely blindsided me for a while. I don't have any dc as of yet. March is our first month ttc since the mmc after receiving the all clear from the doctors.

Now here's the irony, last Wednesday I stated to feel super nauseous and had cramping in my pelvic region. My head had totally run away with the idea that I could be preggers. Unfortunately I don't think that this is the case as all tests are coming back BFN. What a time to get a sickness bug and start feeling nauseous!!! Its almost funny........but not quite Shock

BertieBotts · 30/03/2016 09:51

I peed but nothing to tell, as expected. As you were!

samk15 · 30/03/2016 09:48

Bertie that is dedication to the cause! I'm impressed. Hope it goes well for you!

BertieBotts · 30/03/2016 08:59

My mum and sister are leaving tomorrow :( We are in Germany and only get to see them about once every 12-18 months.

DH gave me permission to do a test this morning just in case I am so I can tell them Grin Bless him. It's way too early and I don't think it will come to anything, but I've relented on the basis that I was planning to drink this evening so, you know, might as well check!

The challenge would be how to tell DM and DSis without alerting DS who is 7 and would get way too excited with no context.

ZoeNotAMumYet · 30/03/2016 00:41

Oh yes and we will be TTC #1 and I am 30.

ZoeNotAMumYet · 30/03/2016 00:40

Hello everyone. I am new! DH and I recently had "the chat" and are going to start TTC next year. Thought I would join you to follow your journeys and hopefully learn some things! Then this week got a weird bug at the same time as AF on its way and the results managed to convince me, my hubby and my mother (who exclaimed that my boobs were enormous) that I was pg. Turns out not and would have been unlikely as we are still using protection for now but for the first time ever the prospect was genuinely exciting and it almost felt a bit disappointing to have "the witch"! I wish you all a painless tww and eventual sticky beans and lovely pregnancies very soon! Hope I have used the acronyms/terms correctly! :-) xx

BertieBotts · 29/03/2016 23:38

I think we've been doing it 2 or 3 times a day Blush Month 1, we're a little bit excited Grin

I didn't know OBEM was on again as I'm not in UK but I might look on catch up... I have been watching The Midwives on Youtube and that was partly what spurred me on actually. I want to do it all agaaaain!

happysunshineandrainbows · 29/03/2016 23:16

Hi - I'll be hopefully testing on the 28th / 29th April, finally persuaded hubby to just go for it after my next period which is due next week (although I've been crampy and emotional this week so to be honest as my cycle isn't regular I'm expecting it any day now!)
