Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?'

Thread 12. Welcome!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself your pregnant in the tww

Moggysinger · 27/02/2016 22:59

Ahh thanks for the tip kwick ! Made my curry extra delicious!

I have an irrational fear of being outed on mn. I know it's very unlikely but not impossible! I do sometimes wonder how we'd all get on if we met in rl. Imagine our gathering It would be brilliant/hilarious/terrifying!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 27/02/2016 22:59

I have never been to London. The closest I have been is to Harry Potter land.

sucha I am in north London too! I often catch up on MN on the 19 bus... One day someone will read over my shoulder for sure!

Too big needles were not that painful....phew!

Kwick709 · 27/02/2016 22:16

moggy it may have been me that mentioned cayenne pepper - said ti help after IUI/IVF as draws blood to uterus.

kat there is a chemical in pineapple that is said to assist with implantation - bromesomethingorother; warm feet - again to keep blood flow concentrating on fanjo area.

ElleSarcasmo · 27/02/2016 21:49

Ni that's a good idea with the Vaseline. Hmm I wonder if the ready cut up ones from M+S count? Or maybe they don't have enough core? I suspect you're right Kat but I'm going to eat fruit anyway so may as well eat the 'right' one!

Dammit I forgot Brazil nuts Zazzles! Thanks for the reminder.

Moggy it is a really wow experience I thought! Wish I had thought to video it.

Lisa sorry about your FIL Flowers

Mooseville · 27/02/2016 21:39

SuchaJem · 27/02/2016 21:37

Mooseville · 27/02/2016 21:22

Ha ha holly OMG we're about to discover we're neighbours or something here aren't we? What happens on mumsnet stays on mumsnet yeah???! Lol

LisaTheGreek · 27/02/2016 21:15

Thank you, Moggy, that's very sweet x

Moggysinger · 27/02/2016 20:57

Lisa so sorry to hear about your fil Flowers and that you've been having a rough time with the sickness. Hope you're resting up

Moggysinger · 27/02/2016 20:55

Kat I saw a real live murmuration! When starlings flock at sunset and reach 1000s in numbers making all wonderful shapes. From a distance it looked like a cloud changing shape. It is truly amazing to watch, have a look on you tube. Mesmerizing and v relaxing. They still don't know 100% why they do it, it's a natural phenomenon!

Holly300 · 27/02/2016 20:50

Moose, I think we live very close. Also live in Herts, not far from Enfield Smile

Holly300 · 27/02/2016 20:49

Checking into new thread... Sorry I haven't been around for a while, work has been crazy-busy!!

Such lovely news Bellini! Congrats Thanks

Holly, 31
Cycle 2
4 dpo
Trying not to stress too much about 2ww - being too busy with work is a good distraction for me!

LisaTheGreek · 27/02/2016 20:24

Wow, you guys move on quickly! Another thread already!

Age: 29
Based: SE London
Status: harbouring an 8+3 lego brick (will be DC#1 if it sticks)

Apologies for not being on here for a while. I've had a really bad time with the sickness (though not as bad as others on here), and then this week my FiL passed away. Will try and check in as often as I can x

Mooseville · 27/02/2016 20:17

I agree kat but hopefully anything we do do/eat will have a placebo effect and should anything go wrong at least you can feel as though you did all you can!

Pugmummy87 · 27/02/2016 20:17

Checking in.

Pug

I have painful boobs Hmm

Evergreen15 · 27/02/2016 20:02

Hello!!!
TTC#1
Cycle#3
11 dpo AF due tomorrow (I thought today but adjusted ovulation day)
34 years OLD

KatOnATinRo0f · 27/02/2016 19:50

Moggy what did u see from your car? I missed that!!

Have up dated list will post later on.

Am inclined to think that we are clutching at straws with the whole cayenne/pineapple core/warm feet business...... I can't honestly believe that any of that is going to make a blind bit of difference apart from making you feel like you're doing something. But if there's any scientific evidence behind any of it I would be keen to see it!!

RaeSkywalker · 27/02/2016 19:49

Hello all!

Rae
I'm 28
TTC #1
Cycle #1
AF/testing on the 5th

I'm taking Pregnacare, DH is taking Wellman. Not using opks yet.

I feel really odd today, loads of watery cm which I have NEVER had before at this stage in my cycle, and feel nauseous (like travel sickness). Also cramping like very mild period pains. I'm fairly confident it's a bug though, unless AF is going to turn up super early!

Mooseville · 27/02/2016 19:35

Totally didn't know that about the pineapple either - isn't it also meant to help with dieting also?? No idea why I think this!

Mooseville · 27/02/2016 19:32

Ni It's so weird, I was actually on the tube the other day and I thought, "I totally could be sat next to someone off the thread and I wouldn't have a clue!"
I actually live just past Enfield in Herts but just popped into Stratford for the day. i think there was a few other Londonish people on here when we did the thread with locations/jobs, but I can't remember who!
