Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?'

Thread 12. Welcome!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself your pregnant in the tww

Miley I would love to see your scan! So sweet of your oh to organise it. Smile

Pugmummy I really struggle with drinking enough too. It is hard at work! I think I will buy me a giant water bottle and at least on some days I will stand a chance. Don't always have time to wee at work either! I get those headaches too-horrible, hope you're feeling better now. Flowers

Welcome newbies! Smile

ElleSarcasmo · 01/03/2016 19:53

Congratulations Pyxie! Lovely news! Flowers

Sorry about AF Feefs Sad

Moggy you were lovely to be so kind. That poor woman Sad.

Jem the SMEP looks exhausting! Though I am currently sulking as DH promised me some action tonight and is now pleading tiredness-I definitely had some EWCM earlier (maybe the EPO?) though am only CD8. I am not happy!Angry

SincerelyRosie · 01/03/2016 19:44

Mileymoocow yes tested last on Sunday night. I've tested about 6 times!!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 01/03/2016 19:34

Noooo I want to seeeeeee miley just cause I'm irritated with my womb doesn't mean I don't enjoy the wonders of yours!

My new mindset today is "it'll happen when it happens" and me trying to force it isn't going to do any good! But I'm beyond exhausted this week and haven't got the energy to be miffed with my nethers!

Oh w(h)ine... I'm doing a lot of that at the minute! Have a glass for me!

I can't believe 30% fall in their first cycle. I thought I was beyond lucky with my 2nd cycle. My best friend fell on her 2nd but sadly lost it at 12 weeks and another friend fell while on the pill I know, I know, how the fuck, right? but again lost her little girl at 27 weeks. The anxiety just never ends.

Ladies I have my scan tomorrow evening but have noticed a lot of you are feeling down recently so I won't post it here for fear of it feeling like I'm rubbing it in. But if you'd like to see feel free to pm me!

vixarooni · 01/03/2016 19:23

Haha yes! They've probably secretly all been on here. And how do people get pregnant on the pill exactly? It's witch craft I'm sure!

I'm gunna have some baileys to celebrate being 4 days away from AF.

Feefeefs · 01/03/2016 19:12

Bitches I call them Smileterrible but does cheer me up.

Also just bought a job lot of EPO. And a bottle of red wine

Mileymoocow · 01/03/2016 19:01

Haha vix, oh those normal women who cencieve without trying? Those mythical creatures!

rosie have you tested at all? I have high hopes for you

SincerelyRosie · 01/03/2016 18:55

I'll try tomorrow. FMU! I'll keep you all posted. Smile

vixarooni · 01/03/2016 18:48

I guess any hole is a goal as they say! I go straight for the mouth and under the tongue. I live temping and seeing what my body is doing each month. My temp dropped from 36.7 to 36.2 yesterday and I was freaking out my luteal was only going to be 9 days long but it went back up this morn so who knows what that was about.

30% is high, if you take into account all those normal women who don't chart or opk. I take it they exist?

Pugmummy87 · 01/03/2016 18:46

Apparently taking your temp via the foof is more reliable.

Tmi alert, I have a ton of ewcm today. The epo has obviously worked.

After my 'stern look' from Kwick last night, I have made an effort to drink more today. Still not enough, but it's better than the past 2 days.

Mileymoocow · 01/03/2016 18:11

30% within the first cycle?! That can't be right surely??

I also thought people took their foof temperatures? I'm assuming not.

SuchaJem · 01/03/2016 17:50

Also thinking might try this this month! Have printed myself a calendar off :) spermmeetseggplan.com/smep-step-by-step/

SuchaJem · 01/03/2016 17:42

Of all couples trying to conceive: 30 percent get pregnant within the first cycle (about one month) 59 percent get pregnant within three cycles (about three months) 80 percent get pregnant within six cycles (about six months)

SuchaJem · 01/03/2016 17:42

Just read this on the Baby Center. It made me feel better

StarkyTheDirewolf · 01/03/2016 17:25

miggy I thought it went up the foof hole for quite some time, until I did some reading on it, I'm just glad I've never temped!

OP posts:
Moggysinger · 01/03/2016 17:10

vix and kav what other hole are you talking about?! I thought with temping it would just go in your mouth or under your arm!

Hep154 · 01/03/2016 17:08

i think i am already started to crack and thinking of buying a frer....
chances are negligible and yet......

stop it.

RaeSkywalker · 01/03/2016 16:03

Thanks kav. Congrats on the wedding! Hope the venue got sorted? I got married in July so I know what you mean about the stress.

I've been taking Pregnacare for 2 months now and was ok last month- will keep a close eye now though!

kavanaughkj · 01/03/2016 15:40

Don't let me worry you Rae - for what looks like the large majority of women it appears to work fine and doesn't affect their cycles at all. It might not even be the Pregnacare - I was married in January and we all know how stress-free wedding planning is (particularly when you're told the week before your wedding that your reception venue is about to go bankrupt) - and I also got sick on honeymoon, so it's entirely likely that stress and/or sickness were to blame, not the Pregnacare. I only thought it was that because I found other people saying the same - and I wasn't temping that month so I can't say for sure it wasn't just very delayed ovulation. :)

RaeSkywalker · 01/03/2016 15:29

kav I'm taking Pregnacare Conception! Worried now!

Ni4444 · 01/03/2016 14:56

Welcome onboard the ttc bus Kav ! 🚌 Mind your step!

I'm back and less moody today! CD26/28-33 and about 7dpo. This month I am dismissing any thoughts of being pregnant (mostly!) Would be due to test Saturday and im meeting my Mum for a holiday Sunday and I can't work myself up or the disappointment would be too much! Trying to remember to eat my pineapple and finishing this month of temping and that's all!

Rosie time to test!! Fingers crossed!

kavanaughkj · 01/03/2016 14:36

I was thinking about that vixarooni, but I don't think I can really do that mid-chart as I read that you get higher temps from there! Will probably do that from the start of my next cycle though if I don't get a BFP this time around.

vixarooni · 01/03/2016 14:14

Hi kavana I'm all over that book, I chart now and constantly compare my graphs to others!! You could take your temp from another hole....

Mooseville · 01/03/2016 14:07

I honestly thought I'd be quite laid back about it.... How wrong was I? First month and it's taking over my every thought!
We only DTD once (albeit on a good ovulation day) and I have ZERO symptoms but I've still been eyeing up pregnancy tests in Boots today! I managed to not buy them, I'd be doing them daily!!
