hep my approach is as much DTD as poss for as long as poss - most likely to catch eggo when she does cruise by. Appreciate this is not always possible and especially when you have food poisoning. If you got one in the day you got a positive OPK that sounds like a good chance to me. Fx

So for my sanity, i am still opk-ing just to try to decode my cycle
this month:

cd10: positive (dtd)
cd12: food poisoning (in case being ill messes things up)
cd16: negative
cd18: negative (today)

so it all seems sensible. No idea when AF is due..... could be anytime from cd25-38 .....

i'm still feeling bloated and crampy, achy back, but as much as i would like to wishfully think..... it must be recovering from illness.

looking at my diary .... i think my problems are just lack of dtds!

For anyone worried about dairy intake, I'm vegan (I swear I'm not a weirdo - well not because I'm vegan anyway!) so no dairy for me and I probably eat more soy than most meat eaters, and I've still managed to get upduffed!

elle when TTC you should generally up your dairy, but milk is special as it is a complex protein - an alternative is quinoa. Do not go down the soy route as can lead to hormonal interference.

My DH has now redeemed himself as we dtd last night. I'm CD10 today. Not entirely sure what day I normally ovulate but OPK negative this morning, will try and do another one after work.

I will know more after egg collection tomorrow - but in theory: magic potion mixed with eggs, they watch development and any that develop to blastocyst are put back in up to 5 days later. I will likely max have 1 but if I had more I would prob freeze. Still many steps to complete and many more injections to have but I am in perfect timing to have my baby.

Thank you all so much for warm wishes... Had a little cry on bus just now as I was reading them... All your support means so much and all the good luck wishes are more than reciprocated!

Some of you may recall I have upped my milk intake to improve egg quality - just FYI if you have also upped yours, go back to normal levels after ovulation as the extra milk can interfere with implantation.
