harriet congratulations!! Are you putting the wedding on hold or going ahead? I think maternity wedding dresses are so lovely, my friend had one and it was amazing. You could tell she was pregnant but it was so flattering

That makes perfect sense kwick and I would be exactly the same. I got worried in case it was something to do with heat and implantation as I'm a fan of a bath!

I eat fairly healthy include all the foods mentioned plus lots of dark green leafy veg. Although mainly porridge ice cream and soup until mouth heals!

I have cut back on coffee -2cups Max I don't drink any tea or Coke I don't think the evidence is strong enough to cut completely and same with alcohol cut back rather than cut out.

DH have just asked him not to overheat his bits and not drink too Much alcohol

Lyssie things i noticed coming off the pill:
libido definitely up!
weight down - several pounds
boobs down

jem took epo early on prior to ov.

I similarly have reduced caffeine already for anxiety issues. I cannot give up tea though! 1-3 cups of caffinated tea maximum.

folic acid+vitd
try to eat healthy.
every now and then when i feel i have been eating rubbish, i will take 1/4-1/2 tablet of berocca , more of a placebo than anything else.
alcohol - reduce, but not give up. I drink more during AF, before ov. reduce down to a glass a week during 2ww.

Ahhhh I meant your fellas, sorry that wasn't very clear! My DH is partial to booze and coffee and I wonder how much that affects his swimmers. He's very healthy otherwise - plenty of exercise and a good diet.

But hearing your own regimes is interesting. kwick yours sounds intense, that is dedication. Aren't you having your egg collection today? All the best with it.

lyssie I remember this coming off the pill - over 5 years ago for me now but yeah - a really big jump in libido for me too. I hated the pill!

starky I can't drink coffee for the same reason - heart rate goes bonkers, I get so anxious. But I do have a big tea addiction - probably 4-5 cups a day. Probably need to get that down...

lyssie I was like a bitch in heat when I had my implant removed. I agree everything felt so much better.

kwick you're gonna need those ginger teas for when you're upduffed sweet potato was an enormous part of my diet when I could eat so am hopeful that it is a good fertility booster

Is anyone almost due to test? Also, my OH took the Centrum multi vits when ttc (orange box).

I just chucked the cayenne pepper in when cooking, in vege curry and in slow cooked vege chilli. Be warned though, it nearly blew my head off!

I am the same Lyssie-enjoyed it before but much higher libido now.

Dammit Kwick, I had pineapple last night! Should have saved it for post ov then? I love the pukka 3 ginger too. The mint one is also nice.

Will definitely overhaul my diet if no luck this cycle-it isn't bad now but could be better. Also will take the supplements you recommended Kwick.DH not on supplements yet but may force some zinc down him next month. He has been drinking lots of beer and has been smoking too which he doesn't normally. I have told him it's bad for the sperm!

Also try and keep your feet and kidneys warm from dtd all through 2ww and laugh as much as poss - both supposed to help with implantation!

Oh and no cured meats - like chorizo and jamon serrano 😢 due to toxoplasmosis risk

Btw my cousin did none of this and she has 2 lovely little girls through IVF.

Lyssie, I don't know about anybody else here, but coming off the pill made a huge difference to my sensitivity. It was actually something of a relief as I'd been slightly worried beforehand that there was something wrong with me in that respect . Turns out it was just the Pill fucking around with my libido.
