Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?'

Thread 12. Welcome!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself your pregnant in the tww

It's almost like a "well thank fuck that wait is over with, I can calm down and breathe again now!" As I get past about 9 dpo I find myself getting a bit tightly wound and panicky sort of, the hell of the tww I think is definetly worse the last few days!

I'm so sorry Harriet :( Flowers take care.

starky yes, exactly that!! I'm like "roll on cycle 3 already!" I had a baileys last night before I even got it. Had too much chocolate now to have anymore Blush

Such a crap time rae hope something comes along for you, does it feel like anythings looming?

ipatches I'll take it!! I feel inspired this month. Oh is keeping his phone away from his balls in preperation.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 07/03/2016 21:42

Well you definitely can't move then hep snoozing pets take precedence! I once sat dying for a wee for about an hour when Nacho was a tiny puppy because he was on my lap asleep and I couldn't beat to move him!

I'm so sorry harriet, that is so sad. Take care of yourself please xxxxxxxxFlowers

HepKestrel · 07/03/2016 21:39

The gap was when I had food poisoning visiting family. The test line today is very faint. I'd take a photo but the cat has fallen asleep hugging my foot....

RaeSkywalker · 07/03/2016 21:39

Oh harriet I'm so sorry Flowers

vix nothing here yet! I am not coping well, feeling very anxious and restless. I will be relived if AF does turn up now so I know what you mean!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 07/03/2016 21:36

Vix - I can't believe I'm saying congratulations on AF but seriously, congratulations. Limbo Land sucks.

Harriet - I'm so sorry. I experienced a similar situation in January - got a BFP, was delighted, started bleeding a week later. It's just heartbreaking, and it hit me really hard. Look after yourself.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 07/03/2016 21:34

vix I've had that! Almost like a 'I knew I was going to come on but phew relief now I've actually come on that I can start a new cycle and I can have a giant glass of wine! Somebody pass me the bottle opener!"

Have you got any pics of your opk's hep ? Did you run out in the middle of the cycle? That's so annoying!

So sorry Harriet!
[Flowers] and [hugs]

harrietm87 · 07/03/2016 21:25

Hi all sorry haven't had time to catch up and read the thread, but congrats to the new grads!

I have some sad news - started to get bad cramps and pink spotting last night which today developed into a full on period. I guess I've had a chemical pregnancy. I'm going to poas tomorrow but fully expecting it to be negative now Sad

I haven't had a single symptom, so it obviously just wasn't to be this time. I've just had a roller coaster of emotions as we'd actually stopped trying and I guess it'll be nice to have a drink on my wedding, but I was so delighted when I got that positive and heartbroken now.

HepKestrel · 07/03/2016 21:17

Should add the positive was a fmu test

HepKestrel · 07/03/2016 21:15

CD22. Positive opk on cd11.
No tests from cd12 to cd15. Negative from cd16.

OK, I'll test after work.
Bit confused because the clear blue ov test said you could use it in the morning. I assumed they would have same sensitivity.

vixarooni · 07/03/2016 21:13

I came on at lunch time and I immediately hit a high, it never felt so good. I think I may actually be losing it!!

Did you come on rae?

Happy birthday moggy!!! im 6 months behind you!

Sorry to hear yours still in limbo ipatches

How do you cope with such a needle Kwik omg! Fingers crossed you've got a human starting off in there.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 07/03/2016 21:05

I was opking at mid afternoon, usually between 12-2 pm. hep don't use fmu because lh doesn't appear in the urine until the afternoon. What cd are you on now?

Haven't seen thread in ages how are we all. Life is ticking by here. DH birthday next week.
I burnt carrots tonight and my house now absolutely stinks!!! I can cook honest !!!

HepKestrel · 07/03/2016 21:04

[Flowers] ipatches
Hang in there. Hopefully limbo land won't last too much longer.

Ni4444 · 07/03/2016 21:01

Hep I've tried to use them around midday (thankfully expected positives were on weekends last two months so no work peeing awkwardness!!)

Yay for Kwicks 8 cells!!! Stick, stick, stick!!!

Holidaying for a week with my Mom who lives in a different country so I rarely get to see her. Wanted to tell her we've been ttc and have a Gilmore Girls mom/daughter moment ...but she dumped all her crap on me (would you ever get off the pill messing up your system, if he won't marry you you should leave him before its too late, he's not willing to commit, your biological clock is ticking). There goes the bonding conversation I thought we'd have! Gonna say nothing now!

Bry according to le Google you can do lots to increase uterus lining to encourage implantation....increase iron, massage ovary area to increase blood flow, walk, yoga, generally exercise, green leafy veg, red meat, lots of hot drinks/food/hot water bottles, acupuncture, vitamin e, Raspberry leaf tea...!! Just popped an iron tablet I came across. Why not! #havelosttheplot

iPatches · 07/03/2016 20:54

kwick so excited for you!

I'm still in Limbo Land. AF was due Friday so today is 3 full days late. Still got cramps and back ache. BFN this morning, negative OPK too.

HepKestrel · 07/03/2016 20:54

Yes, I'm sure I read somewhere that you were meant to do it between 10 am and 8pm.....

I'm still getting negatives.... So think the first positive on the cd10 must have been it.

Just feeling low. Logically I know that I am learning my cycle and I will be better prepared for April bus. I am starting to hate this 2ww

Jamjar12 · 07/03/2016 20:52

Wow Kwick, sounds both terrifying and exciting at the same time! Fingers crossed for you!

Thanks all :) End game is still the same but no point going nuts when there's really not a lot we can do! I'm currently booking a Disneyland Paris trip for my sisters birthday and a spa weekend for my mums birthday in July under the assumption I'll be empty and barren still and having a big girly cocktail night this Friday. No point putting life on hold! If I do get upduffed, I can alter plans slightly to make do!

Confusedcat1 · 07/03/2016 20:38

I've been testing morning and evening. Today I took four Shock because I kept getting that lovely dark line! But it didn't show in fmu, only on the next three.

SuchaJem · 07/03/2016 20:36

Hep I use cheapies hiiiiiiiii I try and wait til about midday - was doing one a day now I'm cd13 I'm doing a few a day. Today I did three Blush

Haven't done them before so getting a bit excited and don't want to miss surge! Or sarge haha

HepKestrel · 07/03/2016 20:29

I have a question for those who use the cheap opk sticks. When do you test? Fmu?

StarkyTheDirewolf · 07/03/2016 20:07

kwick that's amazing news! Wow! Got all my fx for you!

moggy that does seem like ages! How would they manage to fitr you in for your 12 week scan at the hospital there was a backlog! Or do they do the referal to midwife at the 7 week phone call and then 10 weeks is booking in? Either way, that seems very late!
