Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?'

Thread 12. Welcome!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself your pregnant in the tww

Star - congratulations, you must be thrilled!

AF update: the witch, who was due yesterday, is still not here but she is messing with me. I had TERRIBLE cramps yesterday and particularly late last night. Woke up without any but as soon as I stood up, terrible cramps - paracetamol worthy. They're still here. Boobs still perfectly normal which is neither a symptom of pregnancy (last time my boobs were ridiculously painful) nor my usual AF (I do get sore boobs with AF but to a lesser extent than when I had my BFP).

Took a IC test to help me obsess over it further just to check. It was a BFN of course.

I have been very weepy but not sure if that's PMS or just being heartbroken that this isn't our month again.

So basically I'm in limbo land. Not preggers. Not on my period. I am absolutely convinced AF is on her way, whereas last time I knew I was pregnant before I took the test. Been feeling like AF could arrive any minute for the last 2.5 days now. Pissed off. Drinking coffee. Drank a lot of wine last night. Please give me suggestions for other things I can do which are illegal in pregnancy so I can revel in my lack of fertility today Angry

On a more positive note. One of the babies (about 12 months) had a little snack of grapes in a bowl, he dropped them and they went all over the floor. My dm was next to him so picked them up, popped them back in the bowl and handed him one. Then grinned sheepishly, went a bit pink and said to his mum "whoops, is that ok? They've been in the floor! Well you can tell what kind of mother I was!" Looked at me and went "a bit of dirt will do you no harm!" Grin it really made me giggle! I'm starting to see my mum as a person, not just my mum. It's been really interesting to detach the two personas!

kwick your baby is going to be the cutest. I really hope this all goes in your favour!

starky it will be you one day Smile it is tough though, I remember my friends little girls first birthday in December - I was the only non mummy and it really hurt having people ask which one was mine and we had only been ttc for 2 months. I always thought it wouldn't happen to me, and I still can't believe it even now. Keep your hopes up everyone, everything will be fine.

Confusedcat1 · 05/03/2016 11:59

48% is amazing kat! Don't they say that 60% of people get pregnant within 6 months? So, so far we are doing well.

Dh is loving opks! He's like, this makes sense. This is so much better than your stupid app. This is science.

LOL!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 05/03/2016 11:47

In other news, I had my baby/toddler singing group yesterday. It was so weird, I had to sit in the back and do the music as I couldn't cope with being a part of the mêlée at all. I had a hormonal moment and had to swallow down a tear! Couldn't get involved as I felt like a weirdo being there with no little ones, I said to my dm I felt like an odd ball. It's basically me and a few grandma's that help out, and grandma's can just scoop a baby and nobody bats an eyelid. A mum asked me where my child was (nicely) and I was like "oh I don't have any!" I felt like a baby snatcher or a fraud or something bring there!

I had a cider last night to cheer me up!

Congratulations star 🎊🎉👑🌹🍰🍼💐

It will happen for us kat I have faith. Although I will admit to feeling a bit meg when I realise that pretty much all the originals are on the grads list. Is it just me and you that have been here since thread 1 now?

Sorry for the afs, much wine, cake, soft cheese and eggs. Nacho is being an attention demanded today, he's tripped me up twice!

tiny I also have a terrible DTD frequency during ISW.

HepKestrel · 05/03/2016 11:31

I think St Davids appeared for St Davids day. So it may well disappear soon

Am loving the 50% success rate ( sod it-i'll round up Wink)

I think I am just terrible for over analysing every niggle, ache and feeling during the 2ww. No testing for me until next weekend. Currently at 9dpo.....

Kwick709 · 05/03/2016 11:19

oooh I love the St Davids but perhaps only here for the spring? It was definitely not there before!

Any of you guys (in London) used TaskRabbit? - I am waiting for my handyman to arrive to fix a couple of things... if it works out well I may use for some other bits and bots I need done in my flat. I must continue to sort stuff out... no room for me to move with all my clutter let alone a baby!

Also waiting for clinic to call me back - cannot find dose required of intramuscular injection... quite a relief I have not been able to tackle that yet.

Kwick709 · 05/03/2016 11:16

kat you are so funny! Your time will come I am sure of it. I also love how you manipulate calculate our numbers - nearly 50% bfp that is amazeballs!!!

stardusty CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Star I think biting cheeks is stress related though - I do this and have to wear a mouth guard when a I sleep now as it was getting so bad.

Ever I am half Spanish :) In my family we have a lot of latino/Spanish influence - my dad is Spanish, my auntie is from Puerto Rico and my sister in law is from Peru. Ole! For me it was really important to have a latino donor - the one I am using now is of French/Italian/Puerto Rican extraction which I think sounds perfect! Think about ALL the great food going on in the those countries!

Oops I did not realise Starky had a copyright on the Stars... I will have to award something else for BFPs!

LillianFullStop · 05/03/2016 11:13

Congrats harriet and stardusty!

kat love how you had stardusty on the grads list even before her CB test - kat KNOWS 👃

KatOnATinRo0f · 05/03/2016 10:50

5tardusty · 05/03/2016 09:51

Thanks everyone. This thread is so helpful for being able to share in the madness that is ttc. I've learned LOADS and i genuinely think that the knowledge has helped speed up the process. I would not have been so alert to my own bodies signs otherwise x

RaeSkywalker · 05/03/2016 09:41

Thanks moggy, will see how things go. I'm just heading to the gym to burn off the tension so I think I'll feel better in an hour or so!

Mileymoocow · 05/03/2016 09:37

Moggysinger · 05/03/2016 09:16

Yes no symptoms definitely a symptom! Haha, don't forget to log that in ovia that will really piss her off! I'm a bit more burpy than usual and still got niggling in my left side but other than that really don't feel pg, weird Confused

Moggysinger · 05/03/2016 09:13

Amazing news stardusty!!! Congrats you did it!!

Kat fx you're not out yet.

I can't believe our stats they are amazing!!

Rae the clear blue tests aren't very sensitive, maybe test with a first response one of AF is late?

Ni4444 · 05/03/2016 09:11

Infertileonatinroof ahahaha Kat you crack me up!

Held fmu for ages as didn't want to know the inevitable. Then just went and took hpt and as I wiped I realised AF had come! No need to wait for those results!! More sex next month. That's it.

Hope you all have lovely weekends lined up!

Mooseville · 05/03/2016 08:54

It definitely looks like no symptoms is a good symptom!!!!

Mooseville · 05/03/2016 08:52

Whoop congrats stardusty

AF in the house here! Good news in a way though as means my cycle looks pretty bang on post pill, for this month at least! Next due date 31st March.
AF is not helping me out today, kicking me in the guts whilst I'm at work already struggling with a hangover! Uuuurgh.... Roll on this evening for chocolate and pizza!!!

5tardusty · 05/03/2016 08:52

Absolutely shellshocked! Did a clearblue expecting it to be neg as it wasn't fmu and its a lot better. 12dpo, af due today according to FF and Monday accoring to Ovia.

This is wierd.

V few symptoms really. Been quite windy Blush and boobs sore when squeezed. Also seem to have a sore mouth in the morning last three days as though i've been biting my cheeks in my sleep. Never heard of that happening to anybody else tho so possibly not preg related.
