cat not positive yet. The control needs to be as dark/darker when it's positive, this is when you're having your surge, egg can be released 12-36 hours after the surge. So fear not! Get as much up there waiting as you can, and then even if your Dh is away for your positive, but back the day after, you will still probably catch your egg!

I'm hoping my afternoon opk will be a positive, then we can dtd tonight and tomorrow before he leaves and then hopefully I'm covered... What bad timing for him to go away!

confused it is never too early to jump your DH... Do I need to explain the luck you have on having it on tap as it were? Magic potion can live for up to 5 days and you may ovulate any time now right?

I am sooooooooooo pleased that I tried to meditate earlier today and so had my phone with me (I am still in bed) as the embryologist called. It seems the egg is dividing nicely and in her words it is looking strong!! Most likely I will have the embryo transfer tomorrow afternoon!!! She asked me about asssited hatching - so apparently as I am a lady of advanced years the outside of the egg maybe a bit hard which can impeed implanatation but they can do something called assisted hatching which will help the egg implant - I said yes :)
The other egg has yet to fertilise but still might.
So so so exciting! It is like the nest news ever!

starky I wonder if your DH will be able to smell when you're pregnant? It might be your first sign!

Just been baby bombed by a friend who's been with her bf for 5 months. Trying not to be jealous but just pleased.

P.S. I'm firmly on this month's bus!

Next Mother's Day we will all be pregnant or with a baby! Fx

Btw I was taught to give injections into the upper outer quadrant of the buttock-love the diagram Evergreen!

Rae some people just take more than they give Sad though as Evergreen said maybe she is still reeling from the breakup. I would just keep your distance a little and hopefully she will redeem herself. You are stuck working with her anyway so can't really avoid her.

What is maca powder Evergreen? I am in a very similar boat both with 35th birthday timing and time of trying!

Ever excellent diagram and pretty much how I was taught to give intramuscular injections into the buttocks to avoid nerves and blood vessels.

Thanks all for the lovely comments about the cake. Not sure I'm good enough for great British bake off though! I'm making my sisters 18th birthday cake next month.

Sucha I am indeed a midwife, I work in the community. I actually don't find it too emotionally challenging whilst ttc, I'm able to separate the two if you see what I mean. I get more upset by being baby bombed in my personal life.

Elle my friend is due mid April, although it's likely that with this cholestasis that she will be induced around 37-38 weeks, so more likely end of March/beginning of April now. She sees the consultant tomorrow to discuss a plan.

Mooseville I hope you have a slightly less manic day at work today! What do you do?

Rae I don't think you sound pathetic at all, after all you have done for your friend and she treats you like that. I appreciate how difficult it is to say something though. Sorry, not particularly helpful I know!

Congratulations Holly!

I'm still in limbo land. Had possibly the smallest amount of spotting yesterday evening, but so small I could barely tell. Less cramps today but still crampy. Took IC which was of course a BFN. Also took an OPK for the hell of it which also was negative. What the hell is going on?
