I wish I had a lady who called me to tell me if my egg had been fertilised or not. That would deal with the 2ww perfectly. I will post a dialogue for anyone who is feeling like daydreaming:

"Ahem. Hi Kat, just to let you know, egg was released and is currently swimming in a spermy sea. Good timing, old girl!"

"Hi Kat, just an update, one of the sperm was really persistent and got into the egg. Hurrah. They are not floating in honeymoon gondola down the Fallopian river. Will keep you informed"

"Right.... So .... That aching you're feeling. Yeah that's right. Implantation baby!!!!! you got this!"

rae it's very hard to deal with when you've been there for them and they don't show the same level of consideration back. With new rellies sometimes that's all people can see. I hope she comes round and realises she's been a bit of a rubbish mate and makes it up to you.

confused looks like it's getting there. I'm in the same boat as you love - my DH goes to Miami tomorrow and isn't back until Wednesday. Ovulation will likely be Tuesday for me I think. I'm so worried and upset about it too but reminding myself that sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days. Plus the eggo likes to have sperm already there and awaiting her arrival 👸🏼 get as much DTD as poss before he goes.

Confused not all lost. Sperm can survived 5 days and the surge can appeared 12 to 36hours prior to ovulation so dont stress!

Rosie news like that is always hard isn't it? Of course you're thrilled for them but there's always that little part of you that wishes desperately it was you!

That seems a bit harsh of your friend Rae, maybe try casually bringing it up? As in saying something like "Oh, I've missed you" or "Feels like we haven't hung out in ages!". Sometimes friends get so excited about new stuff they need a bit of a prod to remember eveything else!
