ipatches I hope you're okay it must be so hard getting back on the ttc train. I know what you mean about it taking over your life, it really does dominate every other thought for me. I don't know if it's much comfort but getting pregnant once does mean you and your oh are fertile - I really hope it happens again soon for you and you have a sticky little pip next time.

Kat - exactly. The advice is basically "act as if you're pregnant" - but a couple could well be TTC for longer than they are actually pregnant. I don't want to be irresponsible but at the same time I don't want to put my life on hold. My social life revolves around eating and drinking - I know I will have to sacrifice this to become a parent. The pressure is already overwhelming. I've also put on weight whilst TTC which hasn't helped my mindset about the whole experience.

Negative OPK today as well. Brilliant.

I have gained weight and now all my work trousers are way too tight. I should try to lose some before eggo finally gets preggo, but too tired and hungry from work.
Jam I had that CM last month and got so excited! But then it was just left overs from OH ammunition. Did you dtd yesterday or day before?

Just down about TTC. Usually I'm a very happy go lucky sort :)

I feel a lot of pressure from myself. We waited because I wasn't ready and now I am and I just feel like it's all taking so long. I know it's not, but because we've been thinking and talking about it and planning it for so long, it feels like a lifetime. I think I was stupid to think this would be easy.

Everything is hanging on this - where we live, whether we book a holiday, whether we buy a car etc. I even feel like I can't go out for a drink with my mates, though I have decided this month to just carry on as normal with alcohol and food. I am very much a go-getter and don't like leaving anything up to fate so this being out of my control is very, very difficult for me. Plus, we lost the first pregnancy very early on.

DH is horrendously chilled out and supportive, so I kinda love/hate him right now

Why do you feel pressure? from who? and why is time moving slow? you are only cycle 3.... thats hardly any time at all!

Wtf is going on with my uterus?! Was certain AF had started yesterday as red flow and cramps. Today, nothing but a very light brown discharge that is barely making a mark on a pantyliner. Huh? I've never had a period like that before, normally lasts about 5 days with the 5th day being like that.

I'm still around.
Not doing so well with the whole thing actually.
But anyway, TTC #1 Cycle #3, CD 12. AF probably due on 4/3 but who knows.
Trying to muster the enthusiasm to do OPK. Trying to muster the enthusiasm to do anything, actually.
Feel under a lot of pressure and that time is moving in slow motion.

That's all very well stark and jem. But the pain is in the not knowing. At least if u test you know one way or the other.

Ever the voice of reason starkers you are completely right. I’ve been swaying between 100% upduffed and definitely not this month for the last week. It seriously does mess with you! It’s the signs that have caught me off guard or are hard for my brain to fake that make my heart race and think this could be it. I will try and shove it to the back of my addled brain until at least the weekend!

i also think this shows that ICs are a bit rubbish really. (kind of secretly hope I'm miraculously 3 months pregnant despite AF coming and going as i only used ICs... um... ok maybe not)

I've been trying EPO this window and just realised I've lost more CM today than I would expect. OH will be getting notified his services will be required very shortly haha. Good luck ladies we may be on a little BFP streek... fx x

Thanks girls I feel like I'm going to be a big fat bfn let down after all this but I'm never off my tea. I'm also quite constipated, windy and my boobs definitely feel/look bigger.

AF is due Tuesday. I will try and hold out for that starky star!!
