Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?'

Thread 11. Welcome one and all!
We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

14 DPO today. Have promised DH will promise to wait until Sunday and he's back from work to test.

Okay might just treat myself to a wee glass then xx

Mileymoocow · 19/02/2016 17:16

jem you're fine to have a glass. Enjoy it Wine and have a one for me

Dubbya · 19/02/2016 17:06

jem how many dpo are you? I'm pretty sure you're fine for one glass at this stage!

Confusedcat1 · 19/02/2016 17:03

Jem if you don't feel comfortable having one have an amazing mug of hot chocolate Chocolate

SuchaJem · 19/02/2016 16:45

Gym time, yoga and dancing sounds wonderful feefs You’ve inspired me – am going to see if there is a local yoga class I can do this weekend.

Girls do you think it would be okay/unwise for me to have a glass of wine tonight? I really could do with one after the day I’ve had. But am so close to testing and am feeling cautiously optimistic this month

Mileymoocow · 19/02/2016 16:43

I've just woken up and my lovely grandma has brought me a big pan of proper northumbria broth! My absolute favourite. Hopefully I can manage it Grin

It's so nice to be on such a lovely forum with the nicest people. I think I've definitely woken up on the right side GrinFlowers hope everyone has a fab night. I'm in my pj's and will be removing them only to get into the bath. OH is nightshift weekend so loneliness peace and quiet for me

Dubbya · 19/02/2016 16:16

Yay for chocolate and lots of wine this weekend 🍷

FXSkip · 19/02/2016 15:10

My OH is working too - lucky its not quite ISW for us so I don't care. I've got lots of gym time, yoga and dancing planned this weekend so I am looking forward to it Grin got to build up my strength for the 'baby dancing'!! Ha ha sorry I hate that term, I couldn't resist!

KatOnATinRo0f · 19/02/2016 14:53

Sad sorry everyone is feeling rubbish!!
I was so enthusiastic with my "yay it's Friday" post too...
It's only another day, there will be another one tomorrow.
And each one can have chocolate in it!
My weekend... Hopefully full of DTD it is the peak of ISW for me and DH... Hurrah I'm fertile. Must try to not fall asleep at 10pm

SuchaJem · 19/02/2016 14:16

stark my DH is working this weekend too. Maybe I'll join you on the baking!

SuchaJem · 19/02/2016 14:10

Sorry thought my post hadn't worked!

SuchaJem · 19/02/2016 14:09

Thanks for all your kind words xxx

choc your poor friend that is heartbreaking.

What a sad Friday. This is usually my best day. What are you all doing this weekend? I need inspiration.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 19/02/2016 14:09

choc I understand completely. Going through labour knowing you're doing it to bring a life into the world is so different to what your poor friend is going through. The pain (physical and emotional) of giving birth to a baby who's already gone must be, just, well, there's no words. Flowers

jem it is a sad Friday isn't it, got no plans here for the weekend. Weekends are always quiet at chef stark because Dh works so much over Friday/Saturday. My dsis stays over to keep me company and I feel like baking tomorrow. It that's about it!

kat might give yoga or Pilates a try. Have heard good things. Please put me down for testing 19th March for next list update!

Dubbya · 19/02/2016 14:02

So sorry jem that is so sad.

Well af just got me, think one ovary has a longer cycle than the other! I've had 31, 27, 30 day cycles so far. I'm off to cry a bit and eat chocolate. Then pull myself together, think of everything I have to feel grateful for and onwards to cycle #4!

SuchaJem · 19/02/2016 13:52

thanks so much for all your thoughts xxx

choc your poor poor friend, that is heartbreaking.

This is an unusually sad Friday, this is usually my favourite day. Has anyone got any nice weekend plans to inspire me?

Chocaholic88 · 19/02/2016 13:48

I'm heartbroken for her stark I didn't find labour painful but that's because I processed it as a different kind of pain, worth it (if that makes any sense?). To think about going through that and kmowing the end is just more heartbreak, I can't even process it. I just want her to know we all love and support her.

miley my nausea was always made worse on the days when I was tired so rest as much as you can xx

Calyx72 · 19/02/2016 13:46

Jem that's so sad and it's touching and lovely that your friend got in touch with you. Sorry for the pain and loss. Be nice to yourself

StarkyTheDirewolf · 19/02/2016 13:44

choc I'm so sorry for your friend, what a horrific thing to have to go through. It's just inconceivable. I've got no words. Flowers

Definitely think sleep is a good thing for you miley take care of yourself.

jem - I'm so sorry for your loss.
jam - sorry to hear that AF got you. It sucks.
Confused - hope the boobs even out!
Miley - hope the sickness stops soon. Some time off would be good. I don't know what I can do at work if I do get a BFP and then get sick. I can't leave my post without someone covering me...Hmm
I'm doing a bit better today. Able to concentrate more on work. Trying not to think about TTC again. Been looking forward to lunch for the first time this week which is a good sign #hungry

Chocaholic88 · 19/02/2016 13:40

Hey ladies, sorry for everyone AF has caught.

Had my blood test this morning so all good.

Bit distracted today. My friend has gone into hospital to deliver their baby (no heartbeat detected at 20 week scan). So far since 9am only her waters have broken. Can't keep my mind off her :( so heartbreaking

Mileymoocow · 19/02/2016 13:36

Thanks starky, I'm doing a bit better now. I've managed beans on toast and am away to bed to sleep so I don't have time to be nauseous and puke it back up! That tends to be my way of coping. I'm used to working 40+ hour weeks so if I dont sleep I'll find myself at a total loose end

KatOnATinRo0f · 19/02/2016 13:34

Jem Thanks I am so sorry for your loss :( I have no other words that I can say :(
Miley Orange through nose sounds horrible.
I have done 3 yoga classes this week and I feel like a different person. My painful neck has gone I feel positive and happy. I would recommend it to anyone for the mind and the body.

StarkyTheDirewolf · 19/02/2016 12:54

Aww miley you poor bugger! It's taking its toll on you, definitely think a sick note and a few week of tlc is in order, you need to keep yourself well mate. Especially with the last week or so you've had. Flowers

jem I'm so so sorry for your loss. What a horrible and unexpected shock. Flowers

celi no probs, I was buying the 3 for a £1 ones from Wilkinson initially so finding the bulk buy option was a money saver. I prefer the thicker band ones rather than the super skinny ones too as I find they're much easier to read.
