Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?'

Thread 11. Welcome one and all!
We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

Jem we discussed the wee after dtd before and agree that wee is a must or you can het a nasty UTI (I am sure lay down for 5 minutes is ok though)

stardusty5 · 23/02/2016 18:55

Feeling a bit pissed off today. Didnt manage to dtd yesterday as dh got called into work unexpectedly. I think that was ov day as it was second positive opk. We dtd twice the day before, but dh was fairly hungover so sperm quality probs wasn't great.

OPK back to negative now so counting this as 1 dpo.

Really annoyed we didn't manage it and suspect thats the whole month wasted now. Sad

Chocaholic88 · 23/02/2016 18:54

Crazy isn't it? I was like errrr how to you explain my morning sickness which is now non existent unless I am hungry, my slobbery basset hound mouth, my boobs being 2 cup sizes bigger for the last 6 weeks at least, plus 4, FOUR bfp around 27th December?!

Hey ho! I'm not complaining :)

StarkyTheDirewolf · 23/02/2016 18:48

Hahahahha as if I got it right! I never win anything! (Completely ignoring the fact that I think I thought it was 7+5 at least 3 weeks ago! Grin

patch ☺️ You've finally stopped ovulating / your ovaries must be ready for a rest now. Fx for a sticky one for you.

Chocaholic88 · 23/02/2016 18:27

KatOnATinRo0f · 23/02/2016 18:03

*In the absence of a clear and true winner, I am going to announce that we were obviously all placing bets on how pregnant choc would actually be on the scan day... Therefore our winner is

Congrats to stark and also choc, for her little seed!

KatOnATinRo0f · 23/02/2016 18:00

That was done on the 27th January. My brain hurts slightly from figuring this out but.... I think we all thought Choc was more pregnant than she is... 4 days of jan + 23 days feb is 27 days. 7 weeks 5 days minus 27 days is.... 3 weeks??? You can't have only been 3 weeks? Can you?
.... Choc.... I think they got it wrong.

Right...... Who won the sweepstake then?!?!? .....
(We will need to extrapolate back to the date it was done won't we... Can anyone remember when that was?)
(I fully realise that there's hardly any of us who will know what is going on here as that was ages ago and everyone is new...)

StarkyTheDirewolf · 23/02/2016 17:55

Chocaholic88 · 23/02/2016 17:23

Hey all! Hope we're all well?

Finally had my scan... I'm only 7 weeks 5 days! BUT they could see a heart beat as clear as day and I have 'viable pregnancy' written on my notes. According to my consultant that's a good thing as odds of complications slash once a heartbeat has been seen :) so here's out little pumpkin seed ❤

Snowdog37 · 23/02/2016 16:56

Hello all... Yay to the bfps and boo to the af's! Busy few days getting things sorted, as we are off to the states in less than 2 weeks. Yikes. Ovulating on Thursday and seeing a specialist next Thursday before we fly on Saturday! Feeling a bit stressy and overwhelmed tbh. Thank god for cake. Big hugs to all of you, sorry I've not been on here much!

StarkyTheDirewolf · 23/02/2016 16:43

Just had another rl baby bomb, our ndn told my Dh that his wife is expecting. I wasn't there but Dh was tiptoeing round me and then decided I needed to know. Now he's all tentative and huggy! Ndn have just moved so it's not even like I'll see them and it's lovely news but Dh seems to think it would have mortally offended me. He's just gone "not upset are you?...writing it on mumsnet aren't you?" He knows me too well! Grin
