Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?'

Thread 11. Welcome one and all!
We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

Kat I just wanted to win so badly GrinGrin and was hoping for a starky Star. But I can get that by holding on and not testing this week Smile*

Moggy* yes, I avoid baby convos or looking at baby stuff as I am just thinking it possibly wont happen for me so avoiding. So frustrating.
I love the "hangover sperm" subject here. Grin not sure if OH sperm is hangover or my eggs are but they better get it on soon!

KatOnATinRo0f · 24/02/2016 08:02

Ever so you are still standing by the clam that choc was 9-5 weeks pregnant three weeks ago when the docs think she is 7-5 weeks currently? Hmm I like a lady with conviction! Let's see... We'll keep the list and eagerly await the next scan!

Evergreen15 · 24/02/2016 07:17

Choc what a beautySmileSmileSmileSmile so happy to hear about heartbeat and all good news
Kat I am sure I won, so we can leave it at that Grin
Hahaaa starky nicely done GrinGrin
I cant believe it though!! Only 7+5!??
Choc maybe you have a cheeky bean Grinone that is playing tricks on mamma Grin

StarkyTheDirewolf · 23/02/2016 23:03

I'm on for 24th March elle not quite twins but then I don't know what my cycle average is now after super short cycle (33 days) last time! I can virtually put money on me having an uber long one though! So 24th is just a rough estimate! Grin

ElleSarcasmo · 23/02/2016 22:33

Can I join the march bus for 22nd please Kat? Are we cycle twins again Jem?

Confusedcat1 · 23/02/2016 22:32

miley promise me you'll rest up! If you get really bored just pm me for a natter Grin

stardusty5 · 23/02/2016 21:59

Thanks moggy and jem, hopefully we've done enough! Not sure if hungover sperm is a thing... It was just my sulky logic i guess haha!

Oh well. Should have a quiet few days before the symptom spotting starts!

Good luck to all those testing tomorrow!

Feefeefs · 23/02/2016 21:47

I LOVE to baby chat with an intensity that freaks some people out. Was never interested before! Now I want to hear every bi

Ni4444 · 23/02/2016 21:44

Congratulations on little bean with heart ticking away Choc !! Let's hope dates become clearer next time she has her photo taken!

SuchaJem · 23/02/2016 21:41

Sorry about bfn pug and sorry about AF elle. Join me on the vino. I'm just a light weight now.

moggy I don't mind rl baby chat - quite like feeling like its something that could be part of my life soon. To be honest I don't have that much though - if it was in my face all the time it might bother me more.

Feefeefs · 23/02/2016 21:36

You'll do nothing but rest miley!!

Chocaholic88 · 23/02/2016 21:34

moggy no but it was flickering away as clear as day :) really reassuring to see

ElleSarcasmo · 23/02/2016 21:27

Congratulations Choc! That is a beautiful little cocoa bean there!

Congrats too Becky!

I'm out too Jem, AF rolled up in her red limo of doom this morning (to borrow a phrase from Snow). Had a really busy day too. My hair is lank and I've got spotty cheeks! Lovely! Roll on cycle 5!

Oh Miley you poor love! Hope you've got lots of crap films to watch and some cosy pyjamas!

Moggysinger · 23/02/2016 21:15

Ohh huge congrats lesbecky ! Nearly missed your news! Hope all goes well for you, don't think it matters how much you post on here, bfp news is always welcome!Flowers

Moggysinger · 23/02/2016 21:10

pug sorry about bfn. Onwards and upwards to new cycle, at least it's not long now until your ISW!

star agree with jem sounds like you dtd at the right time! Isn't ov day almost too late anyway, think the run up to it is the most important from what I've read. Also didnt know you could get 'hungover sperm' is this really a thing? Try not to stress I always panic we've not dtd enough every month, but we can only do what we can do, and life gets in the way sometimes

Lesbecky · 23/02/2016 21:03

Hey miley I'll come on over after my scan at 6 n 5. It still feels a bit soon... I hope you feel better shortly. Use the tablets if you need them.

Moggysinger · 23/02/2016 21:03

jem I looked this up as also prone to UTIs and always try to wee after dtd, basically read that all the good swimmers will be in the right place and the ones that come out when you wee you probably didn't want up there anyway (they will be the slow ones!) Survival of the fittest!

choc how lovely to get an early scan pic! Did you get to hear the heartbeat too?

Anyone else not interested in rl baby stuff anymore since ttc for several months? I used to love chatting baby stuff with pregnant mums/friends with kids but now I just try and avoid any baby related convos! I think a bit too painful/close to the bone atm

8DPO here and still burping like a mofo. Is that a symptom?!?! Think I'm just gassy .... Nice

Pugmummy87 · 23/02/2016 20:44

Awww Choc that's fantastic news.

Congrats to those with bfps and commiserations to those who AF has arrived.

Well, I went and did a Frer this morning and surprise surprise it was a BFN. So I obviously just had a light period this month and ive no idea what caused the nausea (still getting it on and off ) feeling. Feel a bit daft for thinking i could see something, probably just a dodgy ic!

CD 6 today.

Chocaholic88 · 23/02/2016 20:15

Thank you everyone! Apparently it's really hard to date this early so they could move me forward a week or a few days but that still doesn't account for the initial bfps! So odd!

Don't know if it's possible to have a chemical and not bleed if you catch quickly again? Probably not but it was so odd!

Thanks again for everyone's support! Xx

Kathrino · 23/02/2016 20:05

Hurrah choc! I am somewhat confused by the maths too but that's nothing compared to how happy it makes me to see that cute little baby in there. Huge congrats!

SuchaJem · 23/02/2016 19:44

star stay positive hon if you DTD twice the day before you ov that sounds like perfect timing. I'm sure being hungover won't hold his little guys back too much. Try and relax for the TWW as much as you can.

miley a good friend of mine had hyperemesis and spent Christmas in hospital :( it can be so so bad. I hope it doesn't last long for you.

ever I shall bear that in mind for ISW. Apparently DH is already looking looking forward to this! In a funny way I am too, it really brought us closer last month.

Mileymoocow · 23/02/2016 19:42

Thanks bluebird. That title couldn't be any more true 😂 ginger biscuits do not work. I'll give it a read now whilst OH tries to force more food into me.

bluebird3 · 23/02/2016 19:39

miley my friend wrote a blog on her experiences with hyperemesis if you are interested in checking it out on your time off.
nomoregingerbiscuits.wordpress.com

Hope you feel better soon!

Confusedcat1 · 23/02/2016 19:29

choc I am so happy for you... You deserve it so much after everything you went through on your way to your bfp!

Mileymoocow · 23/02/2016 19:29

feefs I've been told that a few times which does make it easier thinking it's because it's super healthy!

Thanks for the well wishes, guys. I have hyperemesis which isn't all that common. Good news is it usually starts to die down around 10 weeks so I should feel better. 3 weeks off work though. Wtf do I do?!

becky wonderful news! Come over to our new grads thread and join us.

ipatches great you've got a neg! FX you caught the egg(s?) On the topic of twins, who has a chance of them? They run in both sides of our families
